Selune has the demolish trick. It can be used to command her to try to force the door open. A bull's strength spell would put her at a +7 bonus. That's not enough, yet, but it gets us closer if we have other boosts or aid checks.

Yes, shield is magic for defense and also paid for magic boss/spike for shield bashes.
OK, been a while since i've played 1e rogiues so... here's a lot more damage from sneak attacks:
number 1: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 4, 5, 3) = 23
number 2: 5d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 4, 6, 2) = 16
number 3: 5d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 2, 6) = 18

No problem at all Enora. Most annoying thing is that I have encountered Shadows in three of the games I am playing which is more than my my retired Cleric of Sarenrae (Sun/Glory) ever encountered.
