Nodding at Roscoe, Damon said, "Hal's right. Let's form a kill pocket," and backed out the door with the halfling in tow, leaving a single spot for an enemy to come through the doorway into the hallway and be surrounded by the party for a numerical advantage.
Radiance Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Radiance Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
...assuming Roscoe is good with forming a kill pocket in the hallway, he should have plenty of movement left to follow back into the hallway....

Heading the direction of the Viking, Stella stepped back and prepared to fire a spell whenever the undead creature made it past the threshold into the hallway.

Hallvardr prayed Lord of battles, help me bring these fallen warriors unto thee!

Fabian, let us know if you want us to post this next round or wait for Kokam to act in the previous round (botted or the player themselves).
OOC: I got four out of five responses which is enough to move the game along.
I really rather not wait for just one person unless it's a critical action, which in this case it wasn't.
Please everyone post for Round 2. Someone can post for Kokam in Round 1 if desired.

Round 1
Wholeheartedly agreeing with Hallvardr's plan, Kokam resisted the urge to run into battle, instead waiting for the unfortunate Crusder's remnants to approach. When one did, she struck out....

...her spear struck solidly, but a kick at the undead thing's leg seemed to do now lasting damage.
| Stella Destino |
Surprised at being attacked, Stella managed to just get out of the way of it's blade before it could strike her. In retaliation, she sent a blast of cold energy it's way hoping to slow it down.

”Hold fast!” said Damon, taking yet another heavy blow cleanly on his shield and retaliating with a slash from his glowing sword. Sickened by the blasphemous use of these crusader bodies, he remained focused on disabling the crusaders’ corporeal forms so they can be properly laid to rest.

It all seemed to happen in slow motion--that was Devin, one of the brothers he had celebrated with just a few short days ago! Damon's brother's sword wounded him deeply, taking both a physical and emotional toll.
Fighting off the pain, the young paladin fought back, slashing at the remains of his brother with his eyes threatening to tear up. As his sword arced towards the neck of his brother's remains, Damon said softly, "Your soul is with Iomedae, brother, and soon your body will be laid to rest as well."

Kokam's heart almost breaks and a tear well up and made a track down her dusty cheek as she realized that Damon was facing the unnatural remains of a friend of his.

Attack, Openhand, bonus: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Sad to see your comrades so dishonoured but if we have to choose a fight in the future? Let's do it that way. Move on to the stairs up?

When the body of Damon's friend finally fall to the ground, Kokam sighed, wishing such things didn't have to happen, especially to those she cared for.
She went over an looked Damon in the face, "He's in Pharasma's embrace...this vessel was not your friend!" she said emphatically, gesturing at the zombie remains.
Then her eye slid to the viscera filled font, frowning...
Was the scrying font a holy , sacred object? If so, Kokam won't stand for it being left that way....

Arranging the bodies of the fallen in a row with their swords clasped on their chests, Damon shed a tear over his brother Devin, then looked up. "We dare not tarry here overlong, else the enemy may become aware of our intrusion and mass against us. Does anyone have any healing left?" he asked, holding his hand over the stab wound on his chest.
| Stella Destino |
Stella does, but since she still has the healing version of Starry Form active for another couple of minutes, I was going to save any healing spells until we had two people injured so that she could heal them both simultaneously. If the majority thinks she should use one of them now, she can do that and top somebody else off, but I'm fairly worried about whatever's waiting for us upstairs.

It is a tough call, but if this were real and we were in race against time to get to the wardstone before the enemy gets to it and uses it to kill everyone, taking an hour to rest would be silly. If we can, perhaps Damon just uses the greater healing potion and we save spells for later...what do you think?

I have no issue with you using the greater healing potion. And though I'd like to take a short rest as well, I agree that in character it doesn't really fit, especially since we're (hopefully) so close to our goal
"He's in Pharasma's embrace...this vessel was not your friend!"
"I'm sorry about your friend Damon. But now he can finally rest." Stella added, agreeing with the monk's sentiments. Then, as the others wrapped up their preparations for the final charge, Stella carefully inched towards the stairs. First, she listened for any noises coming from above before attempting to look over the stairs for any sort of trap.

"Thank you Roscoe," replied Damon, taking the healing potion gratefully and drinking it, feeling the pain in his side lessen. Moving forward to the stairs, he looked to Stella and Kokam, saying, "You are right--he is at peace now. Let's go bring some justice to those who have used his corpse in such an unholy manner."
Damon headed up the stairs, after checking to see if Stella had noticed anything important during her investigation.
