Hey all, I miscalculated the start of Outpost, and was planning on kicking the game off tonight. We are still missing a couple of players; I'll post in Flaxseed to try to muster them. I'll allow both Appraise and Perception to be used, with penalties. But since only 4 can search this room, it might be best to conference about who the best searchers are before deciding on who will make rolls.

It does look like your skills aren't particularly well-suited to this scenario, so yes, I encourage you to review with each other and figure out who should be making which checks with which skills.
A couple of notes; not all is lost!
- Some rooms will allow different skills to be used without penalty
- As noted in my recent post in gameplay, whether your initial search succeeds or fails, you can always spend extra time after to auto-find texts and/or clues; this means the time-crunch of this scenario will be more of a presence for this table, but you *will* be able to find what you need
