1 Question @22, 2 Questions @27
I apologize for silence, my sleep schedule transition has been a tricky one.
When Volsung lands a blow against the ooze, something bad happens. It splits into two. When Dolph strikes with his bludgeoning weapon, it doesn't split.
Unfortunately, Las is unable to ID the ooze's traits.
Allowing Edwin to reconsider if he wishes to strike at it, upon seeing the ooze split to Volsung's bladed weapon.
Both of the oozes strike out! The blue one going for Volsung and the Green one reaching for Dolph.

Mesmeric mirror would trigger as soon as Volsung is attacked, so there should be two images up, unless the miss was by 5 or less, in which case there is only one image up.
Volsung looks a little sheepish.

He steps back from the mess he has made and keeps his stare firmly upon blue. 5-foot step and swift action
Volsung then casts color spray on the blue ooze, angling it away from the rest of the party.
DC 16, -2 penalty on Will save; if the ooze normally won't be affected by this spell, psychic inception will work against it, albeit with +2 bonus on its saving throw (canceling out the above penalty) and a 50% chance of ignoring the effect; finally, the HD limit for color spray is +1 because of mental potency.

@ Tesson Black Puddings are completely immune to slashing and piercing damage, and will split upon being struck by such weapons. Their health divides between each pudding, and they can have a limit of 10hp per pudding.
The color spray launches forward, but appears to have no affect! This tells Volsung that these creatures are sightless.
