About to be a GM for the first time...

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hey all,
I just ordered GameMastery Module TC1: Into the Haunted Forest (OGL), and I'm excited because I really want to try and GM a game. I've been playing 3 years and I'm terrified I'll either bore the players or just piss them off with being slow.
However, if I do a great job I wanted to know if anyone had an idea for me of what module I should get next to follow this one up so I can have a better action plan. (oh and why of course :))
Thanks all.

LOL, great pointer!!! Will probably do!

Congratulations on your new GMing, Miro.
As much your first encounter with roleplaying might have been amazing as a player, get ready for something amazing too once you're going to stand behind the DM screen.

For your future adventures, you might want to consider some environments, atmosphere or styles, or on the opposite, try to avoid them, according to your players preferences, their characters goals and also what you feel comfortable with.
So far you might not know for sure, but your first adventure will actually help for that, testing the party and yourself.

Good luck.
May the d20 be with you.

Hmm. If you're running a game using the Pathfinder RPG, don't forget that Into The Haunted Forest is a 3.5 module, and you made need to include a little basic conversion work as part of your prep.

Good luck. :)
