Thanks, I made a human druid for pfs2 to start a brand new character and maybe try out the class. However, I am not getting much playtime with him as I hoped for. I might just have to stick with the wizard I originally made for right now.

One more question, how can I recover the chronicle sheets that I lost? I was cleaning the house and I must have thrown out all the chronicle sheets for my wizard. My GM only reported the one game I was in so I have no proof that my Wizard is level 3 except for the people I play with at the store who know that I have played him before. Is there a way I can get that information back?

Thank you for your time and efforts.

I have a question and I hate to seem strange by asking, but if each scenario can be played once, how can you effectively have multiple characters? Out of curiosities sake.

I was wondering about how one would learn rituals in pfs2. I see that rituals are uncommon and finding someone to perform the ritual is hard enough. The Pathfinders being in Absalom, the biggest city in the world, i think with enough effort one could eventually find someone to perform/teach the ritual. My ultimate goal is for my wizard to use the ritual animate object to create an animated broom as a minion. It would be a trial run for creating a Homunculus or another construct to act as a minion versus a summoned creature.

Any feedback would be appreciated, thank you!

I haven't been GMing long, and I am relatively new to Pathfinder. Since I am newer I hope to shed some light on my perspective of the Chronicle Sheet allocation.

I think the system they have started is a good idea. It does allow newer content to be played. As a GM, you can take the Fall of Plaguestone and strip down what you need to fit a certain session window. It just means all the work they use to do on our behalf we would have to do on our own. It feels like a shift of perspective which I enjoy. My players during their sessions have enjoyed the increased flexibility. As a storyteller, every story is shifted and modified to fit the audience whose ears it befalls.

There is still tons of ways to take these sheets and apply them to your pfs character and still enjoy your character. That way you arent playing content over and over again with a plethora of different characters waiting for additional content. Also, let's say you want to branch out and try a new class but dont want to sacrifice all the time and effort you spent into your character, you could try it under this new system.

Again, I am relatively new to Pathfinder and I am looking forward to many years as a GM as well as a player. Paizo, you guys rock!

Thank you for the quick response. That makes sense, now I need to figure out what animal my familiar is.

RAW referenced in these questions...

" This alchemical familiar appears to be a small
creature of flesh and blood, though it might have some unusual or distinguishing aspects
depending on your creative process. Like other familiars, your alchemical familiar assists
you in your laboratory and on adventures."

"Familiars are mystically bonded creatures tied to your
magic. Most familiars were originally animals, though
the ritual of becoming a familiar makes them something
more. You can choose a Tiny animal you want as your
familiar, such as a bat, cat, raven, or snake. Some familiars
are different, usually described in the ability that granted
you a familiar; for example, a druid’s leshy familiar is a
Tiny plant instead of an animal, formed from a minor
nature spirit."

I have read a couple things both from the RAW as well as some of the other threads. Though I haven't seen these questions answered.

1) is the size of the familiar for an alchemist "small"? The text states...
" a small creature". Is this mean a small or just a generalization for tiny.

2) Can a familiar not be an animal? I saw words in the Familiar entry about can be or may. I did not see any language that would say it must be. Like could we have a classically identified homunculus: wings, bipedal, etc. Perhaps some other nondescript creature form yet to be imagined.

3) the general way its describe a familiar sounds like a summoner's elodian. You can pick new traits every day, so can we just assume basic forms like an elodian and then add the traits we want?(Serpent, bipedal, or quadruped as a base form) If then you want to declare a form (bat, cat, rat, etc.) Then you would be restricted.

4) The RAW also show that you can spend downtime days to recover your familiar in the case it dies. The text says no cost for 7 days. In society I may not have 7 days of downtime if it dies. What is the cost of your familiar's recovery if I need it faster then 7 days?

I noticed that some of these question seem to repeat themselves I just want to make sure I am playing my familiar correctly. Thank you for your answers!
