Yup, Kang mentioned he has two on his person.

See, Variel’s sacrifice to the RNG deity saved Leo too! ;D

Thanks again for running GM Tyranius. This has been a great scenario. I like the lead-check mechanic at the start of the scenario. Also a good balance of exploration and combat. I had fun. Please inform us if you're planning to run another 2E scenario. =)

Thanks for the game GM Tyranius. It was a fun ride!
And we all know better than to split the party, but this module seemed specifically designed to do just that.
I also have a healthy new respect for persistent damage. That was just crazy! Curiously, the damage stacks, right? Say you got hit 3 times from a centipede with poison, that is 3 saves that could persist if failed, right?
Thanks for the RP opportunities.

Agreed, I had fun. I hope my being higher level didn't inconvenience everyone too much.

Nope it doesn't stack. You would do each initial save. Each failure would just drop you down a Stage for poison.
As for persistent damage you end up with the higher result.
******
As for splitting up it definitely saved your hides this adventure. As the whole time tracking mechanic was for the necromancer fight as well as the goliath undead approaching. The longer you took the necromancer would show up with stronger and more minions.

I'm always in favor of splitting up, even if it is a bad idea.

@Kang- You have 8 days total with 2 craft checks. What common item(s) are you attempting to craft? Or are you just using it for earn income?

![]() |

The game has been reported and here are your chronicles! Please look them over for any errors so that I map correct them quickly for you.
Will upload Kang's once I have confirmation on the question above.

Thank you GM.

@GM Tyranius,
Isn't GP based on the character level and not the level of the module? I thought it was specified by the table in the PFS document.
For example, if all 10 treasure bundles are collected, 1st level gets 14 gp, 2nd level gets 22gp, 3rd level gets 38gp, etc.
Can you please confirm?
Thanks!

Kang is a Field-Commission Agent, so has 12 Downtime days. From his previous chronicle, he has put in 3 days towards the prep for minor elixir of life (so needs 1 more day of prep). After he completes it, he'll start immediately on another minor elixir of life.

Indeed it is. New style of chronicles and I am still getting used to all the changes. Should be corrected now. Please check the same link above.

Gotcha! Wanted to make sure I was marking you down correctly! Yours is also in the same link above.

Thank you for running, my chronicle looks perfect.
I will admit that the adventure was a bit rough on my end, it has a numer of interesting things, but the way it lined up ended up with a lot of combats that didn't have a lot of interesting decisions for me. I could have made some different decisions throughout and maybe that would have caused things to play out very different.
Not certain, but it did feel rather deadly for a low level scenario in those last two encounters because the party was split up for reasonably difficult fights. I admit I felt "safer" passing over the building once, and I again felt a bit safe to rest after defeating the necromancer and having passed through the rest of the building. I admit I would have never expected the centipede fight coming out as it did.
I did come into this with the wish to at least play this character once before he reached level 2 and I got that. I have a better idea how he seems to be growing and how he might fight going forward. Thank you very much for letting me join this game and I look forward to any games in the future!

Yea it seems to me after a few of these that the first few levels can be very deadly.

![]() |

Also having someone like me at a higher level throws things off a little.

It seems like a pendulum shift. There were so many insta-kill shenanigans in 1E, so many major shut-down combos, etc. They wanted to restore balance and I really feel they did it with the player characters. They managed to tighten things down and really monitor the synergy boosts and spells so as to not overinflate. The issue, IMHO, is that the monsters are just crazy good in comparison. The single BBEG can, with the right rolls and tactics, take out a party. The swarms of minions can hit hard and leave a mark - just look at those centipedes.
I am interested to see how things play out. I'm for certain rooting for a good balance on both sides!

Thanks for the game, Tyranius! Must say that I really thought Kang was a goner - was preparing the eulogy and everything! Glad that he pulled through. So yeah, definitely feels more deadly than 1E, at least at low levels. Summons also feel more lackluster. Yes, would like to see how things pan out.
