These two scenarios are a grand sendoff to PFS 1e and they do it with a bang! I fell in love with these scenarios as soon as I read them and, frankly, I want to introduce it to as many people as possible!

I plan on running two tables of this scenario—one table will be for subtier 17-18, whereas the other will be for one of the lower subtiers (since I know that not everyone has characters at that level).

I ask for a bare minimum of one post per day per PC (with some leeway on weekends). I am a fairly fast-paced GM, so if your bandwidth or schedule can’t handle that, then turn away now.

I also ask that, since this is a pair of Seeker-tier scenarios, that you please know your characters and how to play them; I’m already taking care of enough by running this scenario, so I don’t want to have to keep track of PCs’ stuff.

Finally, I’d like to run these scenarios in Hard Mode on at least one of the tables (in a perfect world it would be for the 17-18 table) because I've personally found that it's the only way to appropriately challenge my players at these levels, so, I will try to assign people to where they want to play while still maintaining the subtiers. To achieve that when you sign up, please state whether or not you would be willing to play in Hard Mode.

There’s already one seat taken for the 17-18 table by a friend of mine who is playing a cleric and they know how to play them well, so if that changes what PCs you would sign up with, then there it is.

I’m bad at writing these recruitment things, so I’m just going to get on with it. Let the recruitment begin!

Liberty's Edge

My biggest concern would be having this character available for Siege of Gallowspire if that happens in the near future. If there's another RetroCon on the boards in January, that special is unlikely to show up. It's possible it could happen if there's another OutPost in March - GM, based on your experience, how long do you think both these scenarios would take?

All that being said, I'd be interested. Venture-Captain Arnaut, bard extraordinaire, at your service. Level 13 currently, but would be leveling up after Part I. Would be interested in Hard Mode depending on party composition - the game's supposed to be fun, after all.

I’d be interested and would prefer 14-15. Definitely hard mode :)

I would be interested in playing with either my

Bard 13
He is an Arcane Duelist and "Exotic Dancer" with a Banner of the Ancient Kings. Does well in martial heavy parties do to the force multipliers of his buffs. Especially archers/gunslingers.

Wizard 15
He is a Void wizard who focuses on summmons. Most of his career was in the Emerald Spire but sometimes he'll take time off of his toy making empire to do missions.

I have done hard mode sometimes but that was with local players. Online I don't know everyone's characters well. And this is a newer scenario. So no hard mode for me.

Grand Archive

I was planning on retiring from PbP, but this might be a game I'm interested in doing. Not sure what my chances are of realistically playing this in person.

Mark me down as interested with a level 16 tetori monk. He has done all 3 parts of All for Immortality in hard mode, so he's looking for hard mode here as well.

For comparison, I managed to do a full run-through of the All for Immortality trilogy in Hard Mode in PbP and managed to do it in 6 months, but that was also with a group who was really good about posting consistently. In a perfect world, I’d say we could get these scenarios done in four months.

Silver Crusade

I would like to submit Sir Hendric for the 14-15 tier. I could do Hard Mode if I was very confident in the other PCs, their posting histories and reliability, their grasp of group tactics, and our party composition. So I'd have to see who else got selected.

Sir Hendric did that All for Immortality trilogy on Hard Mode with the GM, and I can speak to the GM's ability to handle the moving parts of Seeker games with skill.
Sir Hendric also later did Rasping Rebirth with another GM on Hard Mode.

He is a cavalier with excellent mounted damage (though not archer-level), good saves and skills, and several abilities that buff his allies.

Liberty's Edge

Fletch here. I did Part I on Hard Mode (and it was -hard-) at GenCon, but was sick and unable to finish Part II. I'd -really- like to finish this series, and would be willing to replay Part I to do it. I can turn off meta-knowledge.

Fletch is a level 14 Freebooter Ranger.

The venture captain I’d probably bring is also a veteran of all for immortality. Level 14 grandfathered mystic theurge who is mostly a conjuration wizard.

Grand Lodge

Suli is level 18 now. Suli can come. Many things has happen to Suli since All for Immortality. Suli can hard mode.

Grand Lodge

I have a level 18 battle oracle I can play hard mode.

Dark Archive

I'm the aforementioned friend—18 cleric (herald caller) and definitely prefer hard mode.

Sovereign Court

Sahess is available for the low tier, should she be needed. Hi GM and Arnaut.

Liberty's Edge

Marta is level 13.2 and ready for action, though it looks like the other players would prefer playing a higher tier. She could play up though. she is a tough bugger. Not 17-18 hard mode tough though.

Silver Crusade

Thereus is 18 and okay with hard mode.

I would be interested in tier 1718 hard mode, I have several character options, oracle, wizard or summoner. I have run and played this so would be burning a GM star credit for it.

Grand Lodge

Disclaimer: levels 12-13 characters cannot play in the 17-18 tier nor can they play with level 17-18 characters. In that same way level 17-18 characters cannot play in the 12-13 tier nor play with level 12-13 characters.

Silver Crusade

Mark me as "uncertain" on Hard Mode. I am not enthusiastically for it.

David_Bross is also in the Tier 14-15, and zer0darkfire could be (Mnk16). Bigguyinblack has a Wiz15.

Looks like you easily have enough interest so I'm going to stick with my plan of retirement from PbP. You guys have fun though!

Sovereign Court

Sahess is 14 now, and indifferent to hard mode. After EoTT, nothing else will frighten her.

Dark Archive

Jordan hasn't had time to get another scenario in since finishing EotT, but he's definitely willing to play in low-tier if you'll allow!

Dark Archive

I'm interested if there are still openings, and have a few options. In any, I am up for hard mode. Full disclosure, I would be using replay for both scenarios and have run pt 1 twice.

Zanice - 13th Bladebound Magus

Philetius Everette Luhn III - Bloodrager 4/Brawler 1/Oracle 7

Bellamin - 14th Razmirian Priest Sylvan Sorceror (already has a chronicle from pt 1)

Just so you all know, I haven’t forgotten about this; I probably should have clarified that I’m going to keep recruitment open for five days total so that the folks who want to throw their hats into the ring have a chance to.

Sovereign Court

Jordan, Arnaut, Sahess... we're 3 of 4 to get the band back together! (And we would gladly welcome more than 4. That was brutal. Hard mode would be harder with just 4.)

For 1718 hard mode I have the following:

Wizard5/Bloatmage 10/Envoy of Balance 2, primarily a summoner. Standard action summoning madness.

Arcanist 18, mostly blasts, can also control. Has a truly vast number of skills and flexibility.

Lunar Oracle 17, comes with pouncing death kitty, masses of spell options, can do decent melee if given time to buff.

Bones Oracle 17, lots of necromantic stuff, recently took control of Death itself.

Do you want a full character profile or just expressions of interest?

Grand Lodge

@andreww if it effects your decision, if we run the high level table I will be bring a battle oracle level 18 with a mix of support casting, buffs and personal buffs.

I think, given what we have currently, that it will either be the Wizard or Arcanist. Havig two summoner characters might be interesting but it might also flood the battlefield with so many critters that our melee cannot do much. Dropping 3-5 huge greater earth elementals as a standard action tends to be quite awkward although I do have a lot of alternate options.

Grand Lodge

There is the option of summoning groups of Lillend azata, Succubus, shadow demons, Movanic Deva, Baregara, Coloxus (syphon), Leonal or Shira (Waves of Fatigue) to spam special abilities. I'm not particularly practiced at summoning especially at this level though.

I would prefer a full profile if possible.

Grand Lodge

This is the level 16 profile. He has not been online for a while. I will up date soon. Mostly some +'s and new spells.

The Exchange

David here.

I'm still working on transfering the character sheet up (currently on travel), but enough is there to see most of my level 14 venture captain mystic theurge. Mostly a conjuration wizard, qualified for mystic theurge using the Spell-like ability faq (when it existing) using copycat as 2nd level divine spell (mirror image) and darkness as a 2nd level arcane spell and was subsequently grandfathered.

I would prefer a full profile if possible.

I will post something tonight

Dark Archive

Character is here, if space exists.

The Exchange

Here is my first option, Caleban the Mighty, Absaloms Greatest (in every sense) Master of Conjuration Magic.

The Exchange

And here is the alternate if we dont want to have two summoning characters.

Dark Archive

I'd say just play whatever sounds most fun to you. I don't always spam summons, and often I'll pick niche creatures over beatsticks. If the party's DPR is doing just fine I won't waste spells on more summons just because I can.

I am happy to play either character.

Okay, I've finally decided upon a pair of parties for the tables. I'll make a post in the Flaxseed thread within the next hour-ish.

Posted in Flaxseed. Recruitment is closed.

Sovereign Court

Hmm, looks like I might have missed this.

This profile isn't quite up to date, but is 18, will be updating soon.
Happy to play Hard Mode

Well...uh, luckily for you we just got an opening.
