Pyros flees.
Oops, I forgot the wolves, they go when Kalannah vanishes.
att v Jaethal: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
att v Signy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
att v Harrim: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
All three miss their targets. Signy successfully parries and also successfully ripostes.
also, Kalannah's spell
concentration: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Her spell was disrupted by Teryll's shot (good, no more wolves).
Signy Birkirsdottir |
With the wolf gone, Signy turns her attention back to the caster she was focusing on before being so rudely interrupted.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 1 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
I believe this is the round when Harrim's Blessing will be applied for Signy, she goes before him in initiative. Arcane Strike applied.
Signy Birkirsdottir |
Okay, I guess I don't understand what's happening in this combat anymore. Fine, Signy will stay put and the attack will be on the wolf. I'll add a parry and riposte in that case.
Parry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16
Riposte: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Faerin Cordova |

I think this is where the misunderstanding occurred

Yeah, that was misleading. I meant the wolves take their actions when Kalannah vanishes and there are no more ADDITIONAL wolves because ger spell was disrupted. The three wolves already summoned will stay until the duration runs out.
Galahad0430 |
The wolves attack:
att v Jaethal: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
att v Harrim: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
att v Signy: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

damage v Harrim: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Trip v Harrim: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Both Harrim and Jaethal are tripped and the wolf that hits Harrim successfully drags him down.
Signy successfully parrys her wolf and also hits with her riposte.
Teryll and Faerin are up.
Faerin Cordova |
Pressing the attack against the archer, Faerin takes another step, her staff a blur as she brings it spinning up in a powerful blow to the head.

Galahad0430 |
Faerin lands a solid blow on the scout, dropping him. Teryll also has a good volley, dropping the apprentice and hitting the remaining guard (I assume you meant him as he is the only man standing even though he is attacking Jaethal, not Signy).
Pyros's irrational fear dissipates (you can act normally this round).
Harrim and Pyros are up (Harrim, remember you are prone at the moment).
Galahad0430 |
I'm going to move along, Harrim can post an action later I guess
The last remaining guard attempts to flee. Jaethal will take a swipe at him as he runs away.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
damage: 2d4 + 10 ⇒ (2, 3) + 10 = 15
The guard fails to evade Jaethal's scythe as he runs away and is brought down.
She then turns her attention to the wolf still attacking her. But now that she is only threatened by one, she stands first.
wolf's AoO: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

unfortunately, she misses.
Signy, you're up.

Signy Birkirsdottir |
I don't have access to Roll20 at the moment so I can't move my token. Signy will move to the closest wolf and attack. She'll try to utilize the flank Pyros has set up if possible.
Signy turns on the next wolf now hers is gone. She aims a quick thrust at it then withdraws to a guarded position. She's hurting and doesn't feel like leaving things to chance.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Parry: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Riposte: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

The wolves continue attacking. The first one is distracted by Pyros moving up. The other one turns its attention to Signy as she just hit it.

Pyros is hit again, but Signy successfully parries, unfortunately her riposte misses its mark.
Everyone can go.
Signy Birkirsdottir |
Signy presses her attack, but fails to recover from her lunge gracefully.

Pyros Aldori |
Attack: 1d20 + 8 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 8 - 4 = 7
Damage: 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Pyros continues fighting defensively, with a bit more desperation now as the wolf takes a chunk out of his leg. Hopefully I'm at least providing a distraction...

I'm going to call it here, the wolves are only around for one more round anyhow and I want to move the story along.
As the three summoned wolves disappear, you survey the carnage. All the Technic League minions are dead. However, their leader, Kalannah, disappeared after being hit by Terryl's arrows. Her trail might be fresh.
You guys make Knowledge checks for Arcana and Local, also Survival.
Faerin Cordova |
While the others relieve the bodies of their weapons and gear, Faerin walks over to where she'd last seen the Technic League group's leader when she was hit by Terryl's arrows, looking for a possible blood trail or other indication of where she went.
SURVIVAL: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (8) + 16 = 24
Teryll |
Teryll walks over with Faerin and offers her his help in tracking.
Survival - Aid: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Signy Birkirsdottir |
"Ow! Damn wolves!"
First Signy closes up her wounds.
CLW: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Then she starts to piece together the scene.
"Damn Technic League..."
K Arcana: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
K Local: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Faerin Cordova |
Looking up for a moment, Faerin, passes a curative potion to Pyros.
There's more if you need
Faerin Cordova |
"I'm pretty sure I can track her if we want to deal with her now, rather than worry about her coming for us later." Faerin says, looking over at Signy. "Or do we just move on."
Teryll |
"Probably better to handle this here" Teryll says grimly; "People like that tend to come back and haunt you when you're least prepared to deal with them. And this "League" thing she was talking about probably has more resources available to them than we want to deal with. Best to settle it now."
Turning to Pyros and Signy; "Do either of you need another healing potion? holding out one of his.
Signy Birkirsdottir |
"Oh yeah, there's no way we should just let her walk away if we can catch her. Technic League scum have to be shown they don't come here anymore."
"They mostly run Numeria behind the scenes, and we need to put a hard stop to any wandering down from there they think they can do."
Signy takes the potion from Teryll. "Thanks, I'm still smarting from those wolves."
CLW: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Faerin Cordova |
"Alright then, let's go bring her down," the druidess says, expertly following the signs of the woman's passage.
Galahad0430 |
Faerin tracks the escaping Technic League mage for hours. As dusk approaches, the signs are harder to see. The chances of losing the trail are higher by trying to track at night than they would be to wait until morning, so you make a cold camp. In the morning, Faerin again finds the trail (the person making it is either unskilled at fieldcraft or in a hurry, or both).
Around midday, you see the signs of an extensive camp. Woodsmoke drifts above the trees, and even from this distance you can hear activity.
What do you wish to do? Also, you get a full night's rest so you can reset spells and stuff.
