You all see that the camp is busy. You see at least ten people, but it appears that some are in chains. From a pavillion in the center of the camp, you notice Kalannah. It appears that they have one person on perimeter guard walking around the outside of the camp and three or four others in camp doing things.

Stealth isn't an issue, Signy will instead take 20 on perception.

Signy focuses in in the perimeter guard, carefully watching his route and counting to herself to measure the time it takes for him to make a complete circuit.

You think you will be able to hit the guard and finish him before anyone in the camp can help. However, unless you can find a way to silence him quickly, it is doubtful you can take him out without alerting the camp.

"Sounds like we have a plan. We'll take down the guy walking perimeter at the spot with the best cover farthest away from the rest. We'll expect to be heard, so you be ready with your spell when the others come to check things out. If we get lucky and we're still undiscovered, we'll move in on them ourselves until we're found out, then spring the spell when they react."

"Teryll, you stay loose from us and keep an eye out for the mage to be alone, or at least well in your sights without good cover. Keep peppering her while the rest of us deal with the others."

There is a slight ravine at one edge of the camp. The guards route takes him to the spot where it ends and is the furthest he ever gets from camp. You figure that, even if the camp instantly reacts, it would take 20-30 seconds for anyone to get there. Any ranged attacks get one surprise round before initiative begins.

Not sure of relative positions. If he can take a shot at the guard, and still be able to fire at Kalannah without being too far out of first range increment next round he will. Otherwise, he'd use the surprise round to move into decent position to target her in the first round.

As they get to the guard, Faerin casts her spell. The area is large enough that even Kallanah is caught in the effect.

Signy sees the woman they've been chasing use a spell to create an extra of herself. She figures Faerin's spell has done a good enough job of breaking up her people's advance that she can take an extra shot with her bow and help Teryll out some.

She aims at her best guess on which of the Kalannahs is the right one.

I didn't make one yet, because the fight is pretty linear, but I dropped the ball by not describing things better.

Faerin's Entangle is 80' in diameter. The fighters and archer (4 people) are in the center of it, you guys are about 10' from the edge, and Kalannah was about 15' inside the opposite edge. Kalannah moved away from you to get out of the entanglement and is now at the far edge (about 100' from where you are now). The area is lightly wooded, providing cover for anything beyond 50'. Also, the robed figure is still stuck about 15' inside from the other edge of the entangle (making him about 80' from where you are).

Signy will just take the closest, clearest shot she has at an opponent who isn't entangled.

So, there are two entangled fighters (sword and shield in chainmail) 50' from you. There is another similar fighter that is not entangled at the same distance. There is an archer also 50' away and not entangled. There is a robed figure 80' away and entangled. And Kalannah is 100' away outside the entangle now.

Faerin begins a chant in druidic, holding up a thorn between her fingers that rapidly grows to the size of a crude wooden javelin.

Cast Thorn Javelin. Reading through the spell text is says that casting is a standard action and doesn't say that you can attack in the same round.
