@Yuri - yes on the spells. Kasimir lives to serve, because disobeying orders is very bad for him.
@Omrax - you should play with us. Given that THIS group is behind time-wise, it makes it very simple for you, because let’s face it, a melee paladin doesn’t require a ton of complicated decision-making. We already know that you’ll adhere to your Code of Conduct, and we also all know that your best move is to close to melee and smash evildoers.
I don’t see a lot TO metagame.

Yes, to echo Kasimir's point, I can see how metagaming becomes more of an issue for, say, a prepared spell caster. But the truth is that melee types like Omrax or Yuri are probably not going to play very differently even if you do know what's coming.

Is there a way to change factions without spending a ton of prestige?
I can see this character being more aligned with the Concordance or the Exchange. He is my -1 so his faction was picked at the suggestion of others (so many CG-CN people who play Pathfinders) who thought Liberty's Edge was the best faction.
Edit - I agree to that as well. Paladin types generally do not have a lot of narrative power.
Edit 2 - @Kasimir - Is your character any good with that mace that you never use?

Thanks Kasimir.
I agree, Omrax doesn't do much differently going into a combat. If there are smite-able things like undead - he will smite. He doesn't have enough prepared spells to make a difference in that regard.
Omrax is a bit lower tier than the rest of you, so he will continue to provide a moral compass rather than a plot compass :)

@Grandmaster TOZ - Would the spell (Heal) in my Spellstaff carry over?
Generally spell storing items are allowed to carry over but I am not sure about this one as it is created by a spell in the first place and not a magical item.
@Kasimir - Please keep prepping Shield of Faith. I have pearls of power (1st level) so it will be a free cast for you. If you can spare a Magical Vestment (3rd level slot) that would be great. I spend most of my time in humanoid elemental form so I will be picking up some Parade Armor,MW. I could even prepare a Resist Energy, Communal for the party to swap off for the Magical Vestment.

The Air Walk was great and really appreciated. Yuri has no way of flying besides potions of Fly and in the heat of battle he has to come out of rage to drink those or superstition kicks in.

Have any of our 13th level characters done Eyes of the Ten?
Not with this character.
Mage of the Wyrmkin
My chronicle was put under Hamish's pdf. It is fine as the information is correct for me. However does everyone have a filled out and usable chronicle sheet?
This character did not play EOT. I have played it through however.
In terms of the knowledge boon on the sheet. Would my familiar be able to use it?

@TOZ - I won’t be able to play pt. 4 with Kasimir, but I do have a level 12 who is closing in on level 13.
@Mage - Kasimir isn’t much good with his mace, but he’s solid enough to take a hit or two. He’s most useful casting spells.
Grandmaster TOZ
Yeah, I'm not sure that you'll be allowed to play part 4 with a new character that hasn't done the rest. Eyes is...difficult to schedule. You technically shouldn't have been allowed to play this or anything else with Kasimir until he finished the arc.
Since 1E content is no longer releasing, hopefully we can get some leniency.
Mage of the Wyrmkin
Good luck getting any official feedback on 1E now. They are too focused on 2E. Sad really as I am sure there is a good residual market left over in 1E. There are many players that will not switch over for many reasons. I do not understand why they do not make the minimum effort to keep these players happy.
Mage of the Wyrmkin
I guess we have to be happy that it is allowed on the site at all. It feels like 1E was hard dumped after Gen Con. I understand they want to promote their new products but people will continue to play (and buy stuff) from 1E if not discouraged. At least that is my take. You are closer to all this being a VC and all.

@TOZ - I got a pass from our VL after a schedule shift left pt. 4 possible for everyone but me (stupid work on Saturday ; ( ). I’m not in-between sections, I just flat-out missed the last part.
He did say he’ll let me know next time a table runs in our area...but I’m not holding my breath
Mage of the Wyrmkin
@Grandmaster TOZ - Is the identity of a follower only fluff? I mean you could get an Angel, Outsider etc. as the mechanical benefit is always the same and they do not interact in the game in any meaningful way outside of the listed benefit. Also in terms of a skill boosting follower could it apply to a familiar's skill check?

Also in terms of the Frostbite spell. Can it trigger 1/round or does it trigger on any hit with all natural weapons? This is another one that I find has table variation.
As far as I know the only way to trigger Frostbite multiple times in a single round is using the Magus' spellstrike. And I believe that use is not contested (may even be addressed in an FAQ somewhere, though I'd have to double check).

Having just run it today, I do hope you get a chance to play it at some point. Even if you play it with a different PC, as a player you'll still get a chance to complete a great story. It was pretty epic today - took about 10 hours - I'm a slow GM and it was a party of 7 - and I had them pretty worried multiple times. The life oracle took something like 600 points of damage. But in the end they were victorious - sigh - damn pathfinders! I would have gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

EotT was definitely good the first time around (despite the fact we had a party of 4 and lost one in book 3. So we were botting him the most of book 4.) Spending the replay was worth it and much better experience across the board. Definitely in my top three all-time (going back to Living Greyhawk finale and Red Hand of Doom as the other two).

I've done my purchasing and am ready to go. GM, do you want my list of purchases for noting on the next chronicle sheet? I usually write them myself on the chronicle sheet of the just-concluded adventure, but I know some PbP GMs prefer to note them on the upcoming chronicle.

I used 2 prestige for a scroll of stone shapes, and 20,000 to upgrade my headband of wisdom. Keeping the rest as coins.
I’m ready to roll.
@Omrax - What LG region were you in? The Verbobonc finale was amazing.
Omrax the Bold

@Kasimir - I was in Dyvers, but played in some of the Vebobonc as well. Sadly could not attend that finale. I heard it was top notch as well by many who attended.
Omrax purchases complete. Mainly bought a winged helmet of the Valkyrie after selling a circlet of persuasion. Now he can fly more regularly and looks more like his image. :)
