8 potions of cure light wounds and the big one had a Cloak of Fangs, which resizes to medium or small if you don it.

Don't forget that the maps have an undo function, then you can try to do the thing again easily.

Have an aid token for you all!

Boost: Allied Offensive (+1d8)
Boosted By: Allies of the Tapestry

GM PDK |

Dear players, that Allied Offensive (if used on the second more fresh and less damaged giant) would yield a total of +3d8 dmg on someone's attack.
Now that you have the token please note that you can apply any of the Special Boosts options listed in the slides, since you completed all of Part 2's missions. Of note:
-Allied Offensive is +2d8
-Burst of Healing is free to boost (no channel required)
-Coord Maneuvers is +4 instead of +2
-Provide Spellcasting not only provides the spell, but does it as CL +4!!
-Share Knowledge is automatically boosted to Hard level
-Timely Inspiration not only +1 higher, but lasts 6 rounds instead of 3.
I recommend you boost this token (whether you use it or not) and pass it to the next table soon!

![]() |

I suggest we pass it along to any table that is requesting an aid token on the specials GM thread. I can't really boost any of that though.

![]() |

The token applies to everyone's for one round, yes? Not just one person (That's the partial boons we got for other things)
So use it now, and pass it along! But just the regular +2d8, not the one time 3d8.
I second the vote to use the damage one this round on the next attack that hits (I think it is only one attack that gets bonus damage, but the enemy is FF vs everyone after that for a round, iirc).
Edit: Flanking, not FF.

GM PDK |

It's currently been passed to us already boosted, so this is +3d8 for ONE attack. I will assume Fairbeaks uses this on the giant female.
Adding the missing d8 --> 1d8 ⇒ 7

Token used by Fairbeaks!

(if so, do the boosting here, and let's assume you do this right after the battle with the two giants)

Ah screw it, Hamish will boost the Timely Inspiration with three rounds burned of Inspire Courage. +1 to the power and bumped to six rounds,
that is too good of an extra bonus to waste. That puts him at 9 rounds remaining.

I'll be out of state for a family funeral Thursday through Saturday with minimal posting availability. Bot instructions (if necessary) are spoilered at the bottom of Hamish's profile. In the next round or two he'll probably be attacking with his bow though, nothing crazy.

Hey folks, I'm working on getting you a backup GM to help out. Should have someone here before too long.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Sorry folks, I agreed to fill in and then had an emergency that kept me away. Jumping in now though.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Took me a few tries to get that last post up, and then after I noticed that Rallas won initiative, so had to re-work it. So if you saw an earlier version of the post and got confused, I apologize.
Also, there exists a choice you can make - at the end of each encounter, you may be able to make a roll to repair the tapestry. If you want to try the (significantly) harder version of the encounter (called Undaunted by Flames), you can get a +5 on this check. I don't know how well you have done with encounters so far, and I don't think you get much more information than this, so not the easiest decision to make... Everyone has to decide yes, though, so first person to say no means we proceed with the normal encounter (which I am assuming to start).

![]() |

Sure, we can try the harder version. Sounds fun.

GM PDK |

I'm back! thanks for the assist GM Fuzzfoot! I will wait another 12 hours to see if the 'hard mode' is not preferred by some, after which I will continue the game! :)

GM PDK |

The Hard mode is no joke. Be prepared to suffer. Make your final decision accordingly. You have one hour left.

Too much stuff to address so doing it here instead of gameplay. Reply here please, not in gameplay:
@Styfis: yes you can fly 30' up so you can launch one arrow.
@Nyloth: so, you intend to cross the wall of fire and deliver one attack to the ruby phoenix yes? why did you post a full attack?
@Theo/Fairbeaks: cliff is 40' high, wall of fire is 20' high. I will need climb checks if you're not flying, and it might be a while if you don't have a climb speed.
@Hamish: you need a standard action to drink a fly potion.

Hamish drank it last encounter, it lasts 7 minutes 5 minutes and we had two rounds downtime between encounters.

GM PDK |

It's really hot, and there's no DC. And in regards to the width, I did target those squares based on Example Two of this most relevant thread

GM PDK |

@Styfis: you are 50' up based on the 40' cliffs and 10' high boulders on top of plateau... You have eyes on the Ruby Phoenix. It took only one move action to get there due to haste. Everything is fine: just letting you know of your height. I'm keeping the sheets of fire up as Styfis is the only one seeing the Ruby Phoenix anyway.

GM PDK |

Heh. Meant DC to climb the cliff, not the wall of fire. =)
ie: is it a natural rough rock surface (seems most likely) or something worse?
There's easier areas with rubble to the southeast, but the sheer 40-foot tall cliffs are Climb DC 25.
Walking through the Wall of Fire requires nothing from Theo but Handle Animal DC 25 for Fairbeaks.

GM PDK |

Accelerated Climbing
You try to climb more quickly than normal. By accepting a –5 penalty, you can move half your speed (instead of one-quarter your speed).
--> 40-ft cliff costs 160-ft of movement to climb, 80-ft if you do accelerated climbing.

Sorry, I mistook Fairbeaks as the pheonix so I stepped forward and punched the hell out of our pet bird rather than the enemy bird. I'm definitely not running through a wall of fire to hit this phoenix.

![]() |

Yeah, no thanks. It wouldn't make sense for my character to run through a literal wall of fire to punch a fire bird. I misunderstood his location and thought he was 5ft away from myself and threw a wall of fire behind me to prevent "escape".

GM PDK |

Styfis, the cliffs are 40-ft tall, and going up is at half speed. You must also move horizontally as far as you do vertically i.e. 45 degrees max unless you do a fly check. I can just assume you took a double move to get there instead and remove your arrow dmg from the Ruby Phoenix, or kindly provide all the details on your movement here (even hasted, fly speed is 90, so max altitude should be 45, and I don't think you'd be that far...)
