Huh... this was me trying to roleplay a Cha of 7... looks like it worked a bit too well... :P
Spat on the ground, not a you btw. Feel free to give him a toad tongue lashing in return! ;)
IMO, however, your character's acceptance of the Blakros is a bit weird to understand coming from a CG character's perspective, considering the team's findings. I admit that Ellismus' reaction is more CG than NG at the moment, but low Cha yields weird results sometimes! :)

Fine to play out your low charisma, but 'that's what my character would do' only goes so far. The motto of society play is 'Explore, Report, Cooperate', and to me making as rude a gesture to your fellow agent as spitting in their direction because they disagree with you crosses a line.
As for my character's choice here, you can interpret CG however you'd like but I get to decide how that plays out for my character. In this case, the sins of the Blakros family are old news, an evil pact that the Society helped them break in Season 2 (The Penumbral Accords). We knew about it going in, so I don't see any reason why it should change the status of our relationship with the family now, nine years later. You are of course free to feel differently and to vote differently. All I ask is that you be respectful of other players' right to choose differently.

It's a game and it's fictitious characters role-playing... in front of Valsin no less. Ellismus thinks the Blakros are weasels and it's a rare opportunity to have management and fellow Pathfinders know what he thinks about them. His bedside manners do suck yes. :)

I have no problem with Ellismus thinking or saying whatever he wants about the Blakros family. I have a problem, in a public society game, with you being disrespectful to those of us who don't share your opinion on what we should do. As the Guild Guide says:
Players are responsible for their characters’ actions. “That’s just what my character would do” is not a defense for behaving like a jerk.

I honestly didn't think too much of this as this was purely in character. I have truly enjoyed playing alongside you all. I see this as a Wolverine vs. Cyclops moment. Wolverine will now borrow Cyke's fat boy and ride into the sunset! ;)

Just so we're clear, I don't believe that spitting (even on the ground) at other people's characters is acceptable behavior.
While I'm sure PDK didn't mean it as such I see cultural connotations towards the spitting that PDK is unfamiliar with. To me it's a hateful action with a racist background used to say "you and your kind aren't welcome here."
Behaving in a hateful or disruptive fashion simply because “It’s what your character would do” means you’ve probably lost sight of the purpose of organized play and may be asked to amend your behavior or leave the table.
Being in character is specifically called out as not being an acceptable reason for problematic behavior.
Below is a quote from the Guardian regarding how offensive spitting is. While it specifically deals with spitting on someone's face. It's quite graphic in it's description so I've put it behind a spoiler. Please read at your own risk.
Spitting, literally, dribbles contempt, and it is the noxious, viscous disdain of the act that makes it such a powerful and intimate insult. Other bodily fluids may be more unsavoury, but applying them into someone else's face requires a degree of effort which, the spitter is effectively saying, the spittee doesn't even merit. The appeal of spitting is the effortless momentary disrespect it conveys, while the person on the receiving end must experience the full humiliation of the splash, the dribble and the ungainly wipe.
Now I'm going to go back to working on chronicle sheets, please strongly consider the appropriateness of insulting your fellow Pathfinders, even if it's just in character, or a joke and error on the side of caution, and help us all have a good time together.

Hello everyone,
I wasn't aware this was offensive to some and I'd like to retract that post at this time. Please disregard that post and accept my apologies. In effect, Daisley's post would be the last, as Ellismus had already voiced his opinion on the matter anyhow.
Regards,
Ellismus / GM PDK

@Gorf / GM Dennis: please accept my most sincere apologies, as I did not intend to offend. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to repair things and make your experience of this adventure more memorable. I thoroughly enjoyed gaming with you in or out of character throughout the entire adventure and Ellismus's IC behavior was solely intended to showcase how bad his charisma is.
Ellismus (IC) actually truly likes Gorf (you can go back on earlier posts) and his over the top response - while not appropriate OOC or IC as you and Pirate GM have now pointed out - had only one goal: to awaken fellow Pathfinders to the evils of the Blakros family. I was perhaps expecting some RP responses IC to tell old man Ellismus to 'stuff it', but I wasn't expecting OOC sadness like this, and that's perhaps due to my cartoonish interpretation of the world from an Ellismus perspective. Ellismus' spitting was just to make a point, meant to accentuate the conversation, like some cultures and subgroups do in Hollywood, kinda like this guy. Please ignore this post at this time. My apologies again for any bad experience this post may have created for you and the rest of the group.
