Ignoring the others, Rithon wanders the hallway taking in each of the several paintings and landscapes.
"Interesting. It seems the artist took some liberties with these locations but they are clear as day. How odd... and these two, I can only assume Marcius and his family. Such a distinct family... resemblance... I wonder if..." as the elf continues to stream of consciousness describe what he sees.

With nothing of interest in the entrance hall and cloakroom, the party pushes on, carefully opening the double doors in front of you into what appears to have been the ballroom.
The floor, walls, pillars, and fireplaces of this majestic room are all made of polished marble. On the north side of the room, a grand staircase with divided flights leads up to a balcony overlooking the ballroom floor. An angel of black marble is standing menacingly on a platform behind the middle landing of the staircase.

Red dotted line demarcates the 2nd floor landing that you can see from the ground floor, where two the two centipedes are on currently.

The 2 centipedes crawl down in tandem, but strangely, instead of charging straight at you, they stop at the landing as if guarding, an action that is likely beyond what an unintelligent vermin would do. It seems they are being directed by someone...
And sure enough, while your attention is on the centipedes, an arrow fly down from overhead, piercing Rel in his back! You look up quickly and spot a mite armed with a bow stepping back out of view.
Basically, his stealth check beat everyone's perception. He fired his shortbow as standard action, then 5-foot step out of view. Map indicates where you think he is.
Climbing up the stairs is double move. Moving down is normal.

No time to do an update now, but Krennel's bomb killed both centipedes. Jangafzaar, you could redo your turn. For everyone, you won't be able to see the mite until you get upstairs.

Sorry for being slow this week. Work was bad. Should be improving this week.
Forgot that I needed a ref save for the other centipede but thank goodness it failed so I didn't need to retcon.
Jangafzaar, it is surprise round so only single move. Have shifted you back.
Guys, I'm adding the map for the second floor. Again, because of Nolaria, you have the layout but don't know the contents of each room. For those of you moving upstairs, please transfer your token accordingly. Have moved Jangafzaar and Rel to that map.
Krennel's well-placed bomb smashes into one centipede, draining it of its life. The resultant explosion also take out the other.
With the path cleared, Jangafzaar and Rel quickly rushes up the stairs.
The bow-wielding mite appears again, stepping out from a room. He looks furious that his pets have been destroyed but keeps his target on Rel, firing two shots. One flies over head but the other pierces him in the shoulder.

Rel, Jangafazaar, GAB!, Yen Wu, your tokens are on the 2nd map as you're now upstairs.
Most of the Pathfinders surge up the stairs, Rel pulling out a wand to heal himself along the way. Krennel and Rithon elect to stay below. Rithon in particular flings an orb of acid at the mite, but it strikes the banister railing in front on him instead.
The mite, however, only seem to have eyes on Rel. He fires another two shots, both which Rel manages to avoid. The frustrated mite then steps back into the room.

You can see the room in front of you appears to be the master bedroom. A large, red four-poster bed sits in the northeast corner of this grand bedroom. Many pieces of dusty jewelry lie on a round table beside a fireplace on the west wall. A large glass double door leads to a balcony with a view over hills and valleys to the south.
Rithon waits but the mite does not appear in his view. Instead, through the open door, he fires again at Rel, but again the shot goes wild. He grunts in frustration then flees further into the room.

Ah, cool! Not very familiar with swashbuckler.
The Pathfinders continue to chase down the lone mite, cornering him in the corner. Yen Wu stabs him, a wound that strikes deep. But this mite seems hardier that the others.
Instead he grins maniacally at Yen Wu. For what had appeared to be an ornamental steel snake on the table suddenly rears up and sinks its fangs into the vishkanya. What's worse, he feels a burning poison injected into his veins! (Fort DC11 or poisoned)
Meanwhile, the mite steps back, raises his bow and fires two arrows in quick succession straight into GAB!.

Forgot about the knowledge check for the snake
For every 5 that you beat the DC, you may ask for one piece of information from this list.
His body already full of poison, Yen Wu fights of the effects of the venom easily. He tumbles around the table, applying poison on his blade with a quick flick of his tongue and returns the favour. The rapier drives deep into the mite but although he seems affected by the poison, still manages to stay on his feet.
The other Pathfinders focus on the iron snake. Jangafzaar's bolt embeds itself into the table leg. Rel's glaive bounces harmlessly off its metallic body. GAB!'s crushing blow, however, although partially deflected, leaves a deep dent nonetheless.

Botting Rithon, double move.
The snake slithers down the double to flank Yen Wu with the mite, and lashes out again with its fangs. Again, it manages to gash him, this time across the thigh. The wound is minor but again, venom floods his system. (Fort DC11 vs poison)
The severely weakened mite still soldiers on. Finding himself trapped, he drops his bow, whips out a dagger and swings at Yen Wu. Despite the wounds from the snake, the vishkanya manages to duck away in time.
GAB! flows forward, swinging his tentacular mace. This time though, the snake's iron body deflects his attacks completely.
