Combat over!

Searching the rest of the room, you find that one of the storage slots that held one of the ghibrani guardbots contains a set of equipment left over from the ancient living ghibrani soldiers who operated out of this area. The set includes an ember flame doshko, two shock grenades II, and a set of casual stationwear armor.

Beyond the far door:
Delete the remaining Fog of War. The temperature of this narrow room is a few degrees warmer than the previous chambers. Racks of computers line the walls, with tiny lights blinking and hard drives audibly whirring. A single terminal stands opposite the only door to the west, an input prompt flashing serenely. Computers DC 13:
Spoiler:
The computer contains several confessional vidclips recorded by the pre-divergence ghibranis. The videos detail an organized conspiracy to propagate belief in a fictional deity to sobvertly convince a sect of ghibrani refugees from the great war to voluntarily leave Arkeost and brave the wastes, so that the remaining ghibrani of privilege might survive more easily. The accounts are supplemented with photos of the planet as it was before the attack, and information on the orbital defense system. Izzip's antennae droop when they learn the history of how the ghibrani descendants diverged. "I guess this explains why I hadn't heard of Mother Tuoloo before...

"It's strange, despite the deity being contrived it seems the Husks do get spiritual nourishment from worshiping her. I wonder if the faith in Mother Tuoloo served as a conduit to another deity's grace. As a goddess of grace, forgiveness, and healing that protects those dwelling in the sun-scorched wastes, I wouldn't be surprised if Mother Tuoloo represents a novel interpretation of Sarenrae's teachings. Even if that's not the case right now, a good missionary could probably connect the dots."

The shirren turns to look at the door, as if checking to see if any membranes were listening in. "As for the secret, I'm worried that us revealing it on our own might damage our relationship with both the membranes and the husks. Just got back onto WiFi, sorry for the delay.

So this moral dilemma basically concludes the adventure. Chronicle sheets are located here. Give me the nod once you get the sheet and look it over for any booboos, but otherwise you have a couple days to RP what your decision is: tell the husks, tell the membranes, tell both, or tell neither. Once you settle on a decision, I'll add it to the reporting and give a denouement, and mark this game as inactive. Thanks for playing, everyone!

Izzip is leaning towards telling both if it can be done in a neutral format (i.e. encouraging both parties to see the original evidence under controlled, moderated circumstances) or tell neither if there is no good way to create a safe space for the reveal that won't end up with the Starfinder Society being blamed. Regardless of what the rest of the group decides, Izzip is going to lay the ground work for consolidating Mother Tuoloo's faith into the larger fold of Sarenrae.

Kultha see's merit in presenting Mother Tuoloo as an aspect of Sarenrae, and feels that the diplomatic heavy lifting on such delicate information would be best served by those higher in the Society echelons...

However if pushed she would see perhaps merit in telling the Membranes, but using it as leverage for them to promise to give more concessions to the Husks - equality and access to technology and a egalitarian coexistence akin more to perhaps the Damaya and Korasha Lashunta.

Kat would agree with everyone's viewpoints above, going directly to the leadership of both sides and having Starfinder moderation if required. She would insist on sharing all information with Venture-Captain Arvin and requesting more senior diplomats.

Having come up from a lower social class/standing, she would have more empathy towards the husks, dispute not quite fitting in with their tribe during the dance off. Otherwise, having completed the mission objectives laid out by VC Arvin, she would be excited to get off world as soon as possible and enlist her services again with the Starfinder Society.

Thanks everyone for a fun game, hope to bump into any of you again down the road. Thanks especially to GM Skeemo for running it while being so busy. It's fun to have played a game with someone who has writing credits in these modules. Also just wanted to thank Black Dow/Kultha for influencing me with combat action post formatting. I liked what you did there and have adopted the style a bit to make my posts clearer.

You are granted another audience with the Most Elevated upon your return. The council is thankful that you repaired the generator, and they are surprised to learn the actions of their ancestors. However, as they are quite comfortable, they see no reason to change the way they currently live and posit that the husks probably feel the same way. They vow to uphold the tradition of keeping the Mainframe area taboo. When Klarima escorts you back to the force field to open an exit for them, she seems a bit distracted. “You have given me much to think about, new friends,” are her last words to you.

Returning to the husk enclave, Alomir and Koseemo are understandably upset to hear that their religion is fictional. While the husks are not upset with the bearers of this bad news, they ask to be left alone to process the information. Dystane is the most visibly angry at the disclosure, and she and her hunters begin taking stock of their weapons.

That's all! Hope you enjoyed!
