Arlen Ducote
Arlen strides 20' to the left to stand before Elandra and beside Big John.
"Whenever you're ready." He raises his bow with an arrow ready. He gestures to the team to follow his lead and shoot carefully.
move and then standard action to grant everyone the Volley Fire teamwork feat
Big John
”Okay volley fire. Is the plan to pepper’em one each? Or are we going to try and concentrate fire on two or three of them to see if we can take’em out while we have the drop on them?”
Big John asks staging is loaded Heavy Crossbow and stringing his longbow.
Arlen Ducote
"Focus fire in clusters. Move in to melee when ready." Arlen answers in a whisper.
the cumulative bonus to hit is nice but the sneaky benefit of the feat is that allies that share it don't provide soft cover to foes. As to your question, the "total bonus" depends on how many people have fired at a target since your last turn, so it varies from person to person and round to round.
Faerieth
A moment before he advances, Faerith lightly taps Sor on the shoulder.
"Drink this after the volley. It will make you harder for them to spot until your next attack." she whispers, handing the elf a vial filled with a greenish brown liquid that seemed to shift in the dim light.
Big John
I am going to post my rolls and let the DM decide how all the bonuses stack on. John waits for everyone to fire together so they share the bonus.
John easily stretches back the Comp Longbow and looses.
Lingbow to hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 +DM determined bonuses
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
”Meh, I need to get myself a bow with a heavier draw.”
John waits to see if he can get another shot off.
He has QuickDraw if he needs to transition to sword and shield.
Darry Swiftfoot
He nodded waiting for the arrows to loose and hit their marks.
"Be ready boy..."
He whispered to Sebastion as he held his position...
Holding action to charge any hobgoblins that charge at the party
"I'll close when they close"
He called out to his allies readying his lance.
Yaron Oravar
Yaron says quietly, "They're all in range, some even in point-blank. Do we fire now, or move up like the elf?"
Yaron Oravar
Yaron aims at the nearest hobgoblin, Start close and work my way back..

this doesn't include the volley fire bonus. I figure that will basically be determined dby initiative. And how fast the opponent's fall
On cue, Arlen fires an arrow.
Darry Swiftfoot
I dont think i made it clear, my bad. Darry will be holding his action until the hobgoblins move to engage the archers. when they come to attack he and Sebastion will charge the closet hobgoblin essentially hoping to break up their charge and keep the archers clear for as long as he can. If they dont ever decide to engage and hang back themselves to return fire in a ranged capacity that will change but for now, with all the big folk armed with bows, He will try his best to keep them clear of melee.

Surprise round___________
At Arlen’s signal, all archers fired at their targets together. Big John, Yaron, Elandra, Arlen, Sor. (Everyone got the max bonus of +4)
With a bone freezing hiss, a cloud of arrows descended on the hobgoblins milling about in the courtyard, hitting the closest ones.
Legion recruits 2 and 3 went down immediately under multiple arrows, including one right in the left ear and out the right. Recruit 1 spun around on a heavy hit, but is still up.
Yaron Oravar
Seeing the first wave of hobgoblins fall, Yaron advances slightly to cover while drawing another arrow, and snapping off a shot at the wounded, but not fallen, hobgoblin.

Awesome! Well in that case . . .
Big John moves parallel to the cart and targets the lowest hobgoblin on the map with the Heavy Crossbow.
He squeezes the release lever and the steel limbs thunk forward launching the deadly bolt at the flat footed monster.

”Catch this chucklehead!”
Big John drops the Heavy Crossbow allowing the sling to take the weight as he quick draws his sword and shield, the extra wide and heavy blade impossibly nimble in the big man’s hands.
”Come get some more!”
Faerieth
As her companions let loose another volley, Faerieth readies her quarterstaff, preparing to engage the surviving hobgoblins.

Round 1 complete______________
The next volley (from Yaron, Sor, Elandra, Big John and Arlen) shot down Hobgoblin Recruit 1 and 4, and wounded Recruit 5. (Arlen's shot sailed off into the night). Darry, Ghosteye and Faerieth waited.
The Hobgoblins shouted back and forth, then charged howling!
Recruit 5 charged at Big John.

Recruit 6 charged at Yaron. (AoO from Big John is allowed as he passed)
Longsword Charge Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 2 = 6 for a possible 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 slashing damage. Fumble confirmed, doing the damage to his right foot. (Move reduced to half).
Around the NE corner of the store comes another three attackers!
Recruits 10 and 11 double move into contact with Ghosteye and Faerith.
Recruit 12 double moves.
Faerieth
Though not a warrior by nature, Faerieth, like her mother, knew how to handle herself in a fight. As the hobgoblins race toward them, the half elf begins twirling her staff, the heavy oak building momentum with the movement that both made her strike less predictable and helped to calm her mind. And their enemies fall upon her and Ghosteye, she lashes out with a well-timed strike, smashing one end of her staff into the bastard that sought to bring more pain and suffering to her home.
Quarterstaff/2 handed: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
"Darry, help Elandra!!" she yells, seeing the other woman take a vicious strike that she could see come out of the back of her shoulder before the hobgoblin pulled his blade back.
Big John
Big John grunts with pain, but smiles a bloody smile back at his attacker.
"Oh yeah that's the stuff!"
"Lets you know you're still alive!"
AoO on Recruit 6 as he passes by hopefully with a -2 to his AC
Big John tries to feed the hobgoblin the spiked rim of his shield as the monster tries to run past him.

Either the halfling heard Miss Faerlieth's command and heeded it or he had planned on charging that way mattered little, what mattered is he lowered his lance and charged into the hobgoblin who stuck at Elandra. He couldnt tell whether the woman was just badly wounded or not he merely called out.
" Pull'er back if you can!"
He growled almost in time with his mouth who gnashed its teeth at the hobgoblin as well.
DM-Camris
When Hobgoblin 10 ran up, Faerith wound up and smacked him hard, but he's still up.
When Recruit 6 ran by, Big John made a backhanded swipe that was blocked by Recruit 6's shield.
When Darry charged forward, his lance was blocked by Hobgoblin 7's shield; and Sebastion just missed with his bite.
[npc]Ghosteye took a step to the SW and blasted Hobgoblin 10. He froze solid, fell over and cracked in half.
Darry Swiftfoot

He growled out dropping the lance while drawing out his battleaxe.Ducking low he whistled Sebastion forward to get into a more advantagious position.

Elandra takes her single action available to her to withdraw before collapsing.
I think Withdraw: "May be taken as a standard action if you are limited to taking only a single action in a round." Combined with You can take move actions without further injuring yourself, but if you perform any standard action (or any other strenuous action) you take 1 point of damage after completing the act. means I can move back but will fall over afterwards.
Arlen Ducote

Sor slips back and plunks an arrow at the hobgoblin across from him for modest damage. The hobgoblin is still up.
Darry growled dropping the lance while drawing out his battleaxe. Ducking low he whistled Sebastion forward to get into a more advantagious position as he slid off of Sebastions back flanking the one that had attacked Elandra.
His own attack was shield blocked, but Sebastions bite struck home, but for minor damage; and the hobgoblin withstood the trip attack.
Elandra takes her single action available to her to withdraw before collapsing.
