Thanks GM. Then I'll move my token back outside...my move will be 15' through the window and then a dead run straight to the SE corner of the manor...
Daedîn |
This is looking like a fight we can't win...if Daedin hadn't been blocked by the walls of fire, I think we could've finished him as with him being distracted/flat-footed by the crowd, my sneak attack would've been active and I think a few more arrows would've done the trick...
I can make it to the western entrance but, if I have to open it, I won't be able to fire till next round...but as he seems to be able to drop walls of fire at will, I'm liable to only be able to get one shot off before he drops one on me...
Kawhen shouldn't be too heavy...if Cody can pick him up and get him out that northern exit, Fey, Wolfie, and Starling should be able to flee south. I'm open to other ideas but discretion seems to be the better part of valor here...if we stay, looks like to me someone's going to die. I'll wait to post my move until I hear what the rest of you think...
GM: Have any of us used a swift action to keep Basira flat-footed? Do we still have three uses of that? Also, is the western entrance open or just the southern one?
Daedîn |
Thanks, GM, I’ll post shortly!
Knowing that, I’ll move and fire this round...I won’t use the swift action as I need to be within 50’ before my bow is capable of inflicting sneak attack damage...if we decide to stay and fight, I’ll try to get as many arrows in before he slaps another wall of fire up...if we decide to run, the rest of you can try to use my attack as a diversion and skedaddle and then I’ll try to follow next round...

I think Starling and Fey (Wolfie too) should get the heck outta there...the efreeti can walk thru the wall of fire and another hit on either of you could be lethal...with y’all outside and out of range, the efreeti might stay on this side of the wall to deal with Cody and Daedin since we were able to hit him last round and draw his attention...
Daedîn |
GM, don't mean to question, just curious...I hit earlier on a 23 against his normal AC...my last shot was a 20 when he was flat-footed...is his flat-footed AC higher than a 20 or was there something else that allowed him to dodge the arrow?

Primary Success Conditions
The PCs complete their primary mission if they succeed at at least three of four tasks, whether they subverted those tasks or not.
YES!
Secondary Success Conditions
The PCs successfully complete their secondary mission if they succeed at the three initial tasks and successfully drive Basira to an enraged outburst in the final task, without Qalkami discovering that any tasks were subverted.
YES!

This was really fun as you really circumvented all combat encounters with your strategies! :-)
Really well done.
So for the guys that were invited to this game. This group is actually a GM rotation of Season 4.
A couple of GMs dropped out after the last game so I am not sure which scenario is up next.
But if you wish you could stay on board.
Chronicle Sheets will be ready mid next week as I am going on a mini vacation.

Above is the Scenario Plan, but we’ve had quite a few player changes, that I’m not sure the Scenario planned by the origin players is still valid.
Also, I think it works much better to ask for a volunteer GM from the group than to have a fixed rotation order.
I couple of questions:
Who currently uses pfstracket.net to track their games played?
Are there any scenario in the 5-7 level range that someone is looking to play or GM?
Anyone ready to volunteer to GM the next game?
What are you plans as far as Pathfinder 2nd edition, play both, stick with 1st edition only, switch to 2nd, wait and see?

A GM rotation sounds great, but I'm still relatively new to GMing and have a campaign that I'm working on so I don't feel comfortable doing 2 yet.
Thanks for letting me drop in for this one, though!

I don’t use pfstracker, but I have been thinking about switching from my spread sheet tracking to it.
Since we just finished part 1 of Forged in Flames, I’m interested in playing #8-11 Part 2: Cleansed with Fire.
I haven’t decided on GMing yet.
Plans for Pathfinder 2nd edition it to play both for a while. I’m signed up to GM one game of each 1st & 2nd for gameday VIII.

Answers:
- I don't use pfstracker
- no rush to play anything specific but Part 2 of Forged in Flame would be nice sometime soon
- wouldn't switch to 2nd edition at least for the foreseeable future
- GMing - depends on whether we stick with the rotation or move to another arrangement. The rotation is easiest to manage but we need to figure out how we'd deal with new players who replace ones who leave.

I use PFS tracker but it's not really up to date.
I'm in no rush to play anything I'd like Part 2 of Forged in Flame. It was fun.
No switching to second edition for me at least for a good long while. I wasn't super impressed with the playtest.
I don't have the bandwith right now to take on another game to GM. I feel really bad for not participating in this one as much as I'd like to have.

OK, I'll throw my GM hat in the ring to run Scenario #4–21: Way of the Kirin. I've recently played this one and it is a blast.
Daedin and Kahwen your welcome to continue playing if you would like, if not we will need to recruit additional players.
GM Nowruz, Have you completed the chronicles?
Kahwen |
I'll continue, too.
Hopefully we can finish by Gameday. Kahwen's played in every Flaxseed multiplayer table since I started and I don't want to break my streak!
GM Glyn |
I plan to try and finish by Gameday August 26. A little under 8 weeks.
