Oops, I didn't connect that we are moving at 200ft per round. This might not be such a good idea after all but oh well, let's see what happens.

Poppilo finishes his chanting and incantation just as Gunnz closes the distance with the fleeing reptile. At the limit of his spell, suddenly three tiny flying serpentine creatures appear and immediately dive after the targets. They close the distance and starts biting the driver.

I'm assuming Gunnz manages to move us at least one zone closer, i.e. we are now 200ft away. Range of summon creature is 140ft, and their fly speed is 60ft, so just enough to reach.

They are tiny, so need to move into their targets' space to attack. That would usually provoke AoO but I'm assuming that neither the pilot nor gunner are holding any melee weapons right now.

If any grapples successfully, would they get dragged along with the driver (which would look quite comical actually)? For those that don't succeed, can they just land on the renkrodas?

Seeing the decrepit ysoki giving up the massive artillery laser, he decides to give it a go. He grabs the controls, swivel it towards the giant lizard and fires!

Sorry a bit confused now. It says that they engaged with the orange buggy but doesn't it have to be in the same zone to do that? According to the map, orange is now in zone 4 but Vossi is in zone 5.
Separately, re my proteans, did the one which grab managed to stay on the dead/unconscious body of the ex-pilot? And could the other two manage to land on the renkrodas? Otherwise, their fly speed of 60 is not going to keep up.

I think the GM has just moved them ahead for their bit of the round, as they didn't really stuff up the driver check. Same way we will advance as well, but I just didn't move us on the map - leaving it up to the GM to handle that as there may be other things we don't know about. For the purposes of the firefight I think we will be in the same area since I managed that speed up last turn.

@Poppilo Exactly what Gunnz says. At the end of the round, You are in the same Zone as Vossi. So they will tries to Damage your buggy and your Protean can make a fly check DC10 to be able to attack.

Gunnz is unable to speed up but keep pace with Vossi.
BB9000 between the cover and the distance between him and the enemy is unable to connect his shot as well as Kitkul. except if Reynold makes is DC to speed up!

Poppilo waves away the birds. "Scoot! Go away, irritating things!" Once they've cleared, he turns the large rifle back onto the renkrodas, but clearly is just not competent using it.

With the renkroda at a stand-still and the chase over for now, Chikasa hastily throws himself out of the Esowath Explorer and finds some cover behind the vehicle. "I ain't here to get et by some big ol' feathered lizard," he cries as he scampers behind on of the explorer's tracks. He stays ready with a spell at his fingertips, though, just in case Vossi is still feeling aggressive.

Should be able to get out of the vehicle with a move action, the ready an action to fire off an Energy Ray spell if Vossi makes a hostile move on the party.

Chikasa, why don't you use your rifle? Other than it can do more damage, I don't think you can use spells to do nonlethal damage. While Starfinder allows lethal weapons to do nonlethal damage with -4 penalty to attack, I don't think spells classify as weapons.

Gunnz, if GM allows you to retcon, why don't you use the Merciful Aphelion on the vehicle? Despite not being proficient, you still stand a much better chance to hit with it than Poppilo.

"Do I look like a mechanic to you?" Poppilo yells back in panicked reply. He hops out of the vehicle and runs away, while drawing his pistol. "What are you guys waiting for? Take it down! Before it eat us!" He quickly fires off a shot, though aiming more to graze it than do real damage.

I have Pact Worlds Defender slotted, so anybody adjacent to me (including myself) gets a +1 morale bonus to save vs. fear.

Assuming we get there this round...if not still in buggy, and Kitkul would attempt to shoot Vossi once while in the moving buggy at whatever distance--just use roll and modify.
Kitkul shakes its head a little, wondering exactly why they are doing this....crazy thing they are doing. Attacking a dinosaur...really?

Hopping out of the buggy, it uses it as cover from Vossi and attempts to shoot the static arc pistol it acquired.

Looking at Vossi,, BB9000 tries to understand how it could control him.

Vossi charges forward and the sheer difference in their respective sizes makes Chikasa shake in his little rat boots. He decides he has to do something, though, before everyone becomes renkroda food, so he moves around the tail end of the Explorer he had ridden in and activates his jump jets to propel himself toward the massive beast!

With a loud "Yeehaw!" Chikasa flies onto Vossi's back! He then locates the control device the terrorists had been using to control Vossi, and tries to calm the beast down himself.

Roll for Control?, Shaken: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18 +11 if Computers, +12 if Engineering, +8 if Mysticism, +6 if Piloting; let me know if some other skill is needed.

I think that should be within the 30ft of flight allowed by the jump jets. I'd be moving 20ft horizontally, and 15ft vertically. Pythagoras tells me that should only be 25ft of movement to get onto Vossi's back. Let me know if I'm not considering something in the rules that would complicate that movement further.

The shear presence of Vossi fills Kitkuls mind. It doesn't know what best to do. Its allies wants to get to the back of Vossi to attempt to control it. So it will give them the opening.

Even though its mind is screaming not to do this...to flee...it does its best to try to keep Vossi distracted.
Hopefully I go before Chikasa...to give him the ability to get up without an AoO

Dropping its static arc pistol, it moves into position and stellar rushes the creature, it's solar mace forming in its hand. Charging forward, it realizes that it might get hit, but that might allow its allies to get on the beasts back.

When Chikasa flies toward Vossi, he tries to snap the Ysoki in his massive jaws!

Chikasa quickly understands that the device is too deep installed into Vossi's spin to be remove easily and that he will need Vossi to be quite calm to get it out of him. Also, he realizes that the device doesn't control Vossi directly but give a direct link to his brain and works like a facilitator to control Vossi like a trained mount.

The device give the rider of Vossi the ability to use Survival to control the Renkodra.
