My computer hdd I think went out. Which means I need to get my backup
computer up and running. It might be working by tomorrow early. But I can usually post at work, and I can also attempt to post via phone and/or tablet.

@Gunnz, out of curiosity, what is the benefit of buying a tier-2 computer? Is it just a personal thing for your character, or is there some mechanical benefit I'm not aware of?

The tier-2 was... hmm.. I think it was to put the library chips into. The size was just so she wouldn't have to have anything clunky with her, which is totally not her style.

Not 100% sure I can remember now. Seemed like a good idea at the time, which is really how Gunnz works. She is a jack-of-all trades and master of quite a few, so the library skill chips help out a bit.

Well...a computer is back and running. It needs a lot of work. It was the hdd (it was having problems with bad secotrs...in the booting section of Windows. Go figure). The 'new' computer is working, though I need to install a bunch of stuff, which I am doing ATM. So, not in the right head space to post

Okay so I may regret asking this, but how tall is Vossi? Chikasa has jump jets on his armor, so if he could grab the controller device from Verne, he could potentially rocket up onto Vossi's back...

Thoughts?

Vossi is huge, so I will say 15ft. high.

I think I was clear in my description about the device. There is already a device installed on Vossi; just at the top of his neck, before his head.

What you have is a similar device.
To control Vossi, you can jump on his back and tries to use the device to control him or find a solution to get it out of Vossi.

Uh oh! No time for a rest after a dino-fight?! Not great for little old Chikasa. I do have a healing serum, but I imagine Poppilo would be able to do a bit better on healing me up if he has the spell slots to spare.

Re: Reynold using Inspiring Boost on Chikasa

I'm not sure that this would work since we're out of combat entirely. It does say that it works on an ally who has taken damage "at any point after your last turn ended." If that fits within the timeline of the combat, and our GM would allow it to work outside of Initiative, then I would be glad to get my SP back. I just had questions about whether it would actually work.

If we could get sometime to interact before triggering combat, can we try to go for that? Even though Poppilo is low on spell slots, he can still use his RP to charm person. In combat though, that won't work very well.

My intention is to hopefully use disguise and/or bluff to convince the enemies that Chikasa and I are in fact the soldiers who ran off with Vossi earlier. If I'm lucky, I can pull off enough of a distraction to get everyone else in position for any charming, hacking, scouting, etc. Don't expect more than a few rounds though... If I'm lucky enough to pull this off I'm sure the charade won't last long.

I do like the idea of those of us not on Vossi trying to sneak closer. Either with stealth or a disguise. Gunnz, in spite of her nature, is pretty sneaky when she wants to me "game face on boys".

Yeah, one more game and Kitkul hits 4. Once it gets to 5 I think things will go better for Kitkul. Solarians really needed to be 6 skill points a level, most builds effectively being triple stats needed (STR, CON and CHA for melee, Dex and CHA (and possibly CON too) for a ranged solarian). INT is effectively their dump stat. Once level 5 hits, Kitkul can have a few more skills!

I prefer to have INT rather than CON.
