crap! It wasn't computer but Mysticism that was one of the 3 skills needed... Doesn't matter :P

Reynold's ally is able to remove safely the device from Vossi's spin.

Now, that Vossi is freed from the device, it was time to make him recover and try to make him understand that the Starfinders weren't the responsible of his pain!

You can heal Vossi and make a Survival check to befriend him, with a +4 to your roll thanks to your advanced knowledge of Feathered Renkodras!

Kitkul attempt to telepathically send feelings of friendship and belonging to Vossi, hoping that it can somehow communicate on a primal level with the wonderful creature.

Max nearly panics as he watches a bruised, battered, and bloodied Kitkul walk straight up to Vossi. He takes a look at Popol. YOU APPEAR TO HAVE 2 PATIENTS AWAITING YOUR SERVICES.

He carefully unfurls a Heal-Bot 9000 Medical Kit (Basic medkit). He does his best to demonstrate to Vossi that they are not going to cause pain, hopeful to put her at ease.

Poppilo, I figure that you could also give poor Vossi more HP. A little serum is good for a human sized critter, but we are talking something huge. Give Vossi a spell ;-)

I think Poppilo is correct. I have a Intimidat (Diplomat - Diplo + the Intimi from Intimidate). I have to either have the one Envoy improv (lowest level one) that makes your improvs no longer language dependent (which BTW is not 100% cetain to work with Intimidate--as that is not an envoy improv (GM ruling is going to be table variation)) or there is a Necrograft (Vampiric Voice?) that gives you the ability to ignore the language dependent 1/creature per day I think

Once Vossi wakes up, Kitkul with the help of his comrades is able to befriend Vossi who dimly understands that the eco-terrorists, and not the Starfinders, are to blame for his pain and rage.

He thanks each of you by licking your head and he's ready to let two of you climb on his chin or follows you where you want!

Vossi accompanies you to the gala site and fights with you against Ipsoth’s Children. This assistance is generally up to you; Vossi allows up to 2 you to ride him, or he might otherwise stampede around the gala site attacking eco- terrorists.

While the others pet the great feathered beast, Chikasa slumps down off its back and takes a rest against a nearby tree. "If ya get a chance," he yells to Poppilo, "I wouldn't mind ya puttin' some of yer divine skills to work."

When the team finally regroups and gets ready to roll into the gala atop their new saurian buddy, Chikasa suggests he take the back seat on Vossi. "I can't think of a much better sniper position than the back of a great big pile of teeth, claws, and muscle," he says, reasoning with the others.

If there is enough time I would spend 1 RP to heal Stamina....so is there enough time GM?

Kitkul pets Vossi....wondering why people would want to actually hurt such a magnificent beast. "Sorry Vossi for attacking you....we just didn't like seeing you being used by those mean people."

Thinking about it, Kitkul thinks it is better for the ranged people to get on the back of Vossi. It will just get in the buggy to keep up with it and fight on the ground beside Vossi.

As Chikasa starts looking for a place to rest, everybody hear the sound of several individuals patrolling not far away.

The Starfinders also quickly realized that they are less than 5mn away from the Gala !

Max thinks for a moment.

OBSERVATION: UNTIL A FEW MINUTES AGO, VOSSI WAS CONTROLLED BY MEMBERS OF THE SONS OF IPSOTH, AND RIDDEN BY A SNIPER. OBSERVATION: CHIKASA IS A SNIPER.
RECOMMENDATION: I IMPERSONATE A MEMBER OF THE SONS OF IPSOTH, CHIKASA AND I RIDE VOSSI BACK TO THE GALA.
GOAL: 10-30 SECONDS OF CONFUSION REGARDING THE LOYALTY OF THOSE CONTROLLING VOSSI SHOULD ALLOW FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TEAM TO ACHIEVE A TACTICALLY SUPERIOR POSITION. RECOMMENDATION: INFORM SECURITY OF THE MANNER OF OUR PENDING ARRIVAL IMMEDIATELY.

Max futzes around with his vocal modulator for a bit, and quickly grabs a jacket from one of the fallen sons of Ipsoth. "We, the sons of Ipsoth, are here to be... um... really big jerks!" He shrugs. "I'll work on the entrance over the next couple minutes."

In less Buff-Bot-ese, I'm suggesting that we ride in on Vossi, then everyone except me and Chikasa hops off when we're just out of sight. I'll use my quick disguise talent to pretend that Vossi is still under the control of the Sons of Ipsoth and that Chikasa is one of the snipers accompanying me. If we're able to get a few rounds worth of a distraction, hopefully that'll let everyone get into a good position to end this quickly. Also, Popilo should probably use some healing on everyone with HP damage, including Vossi.

Practicing his 'sons of Ipsoth' guise he responds. "We aren't controlling her anymore. She'll do what she wants... and it seems like she's hungry. I trust she'll back off if her wounds begin to mount, but I do think that the longer Popol can keep her in the fight, the better off everyone will be... including Vossi."

Thinking for a bit and sizing up Vossi he nods towards Gunnz. "I do like the idea of bringing the buggy. Should make a quick entrance much easier. Can even use it for cover if needed. I do hope you aren't upset with my goading earlier. From what I've read in your file, it seemed as though some COMPETATIVE ENCOURAGEMENT WOULD ELICIT IMPROVED PERFORMANCE."

He shakes his head and tweaks his vocal modulator. Apparently there was no way to deliver that line in a 'sons of Ipsoth' cadence.

On the way, Max will take one of the jump jets if able, and install them in his personal upgrade slot.

"Sigh, you seniors really need to learn to look after yourself you know," Poppilo grumbles as he lays his hand on the ysoki's head.

"Anyone else?" he mumbles as he looks suspiciously at Vossi.
How badly injured does Vossi look? I'm wondering whether to use a L2 slot on it.

Throughout the heat of the battle, everyone has gotten so used to Poppilo's new guise that no one takes note that he still wears the face of the fallen lashunta from earlier. (It lasts 25min from casting, i.e. when we faced the formian mercenaries, and I think things have been moving fast and furious since then.)

"You know, if I wearing this face, goes riding in on Vossi, it might confuse them long enough for you guys to sneak in? Together with what the 'droid is thinking of."

Do we still need survival checks later to control Vossi? If so, Poppilo with +9 would be a good choice to ride it also.

Kitkul would love to heal Vossi more, however Kitkul's player forgot to get the extra 2 it normally carries before the game (usually carry 3 mk 1's, though mk 2's are likely in my future)....so Kitkul only had one going into this scenario, and I don't think any have dropped yet off of baddies....

"Thank ya very much, young man," Chikasa says appreciatively to Poppilo as the lashunta heals his wounds. He still feels quite stiff and tired, and wishes he could take a breather to be fully ready to go into the coming fight, but he understands that time is of the essence since there are hostages to save.

As Poppilo considers how best to heal Vossi, Chikasa comes up alongside the great beast and offers his help. "I got a couple healing serums here if ya wanna use 'em. Since I tend to stay outta the fracas for the most part, I figure it might be fine for Vossi here to have 'em instead."

I'll go ahead and use up my two healing serums on Vossi. I really think having him in the fight will be a huge benefit, so I'm willing to spend the resources to make it happen.

Ah, so Poppilo's back to his normal face then. Just happily assumed the chase as the usual 1 round each, but yeah this makes more sense. Please retcon that part from the post.

Chikasa, wasn't Reynold giving you inspiring boost for your SP?

"Hmm," Poppilo studies the large creature. "Ok, ok, I can see the tactical advantage. Make a great steed, I would say. Not if you fall in combat though. Alright, here." The lashunta similarly lays a hand on the renkrodas, restoring significantly more health.

So which two of us are riding on Vossi? I would suggest the more vulnerable ones, like Chikasa? If no one else wants to, Poppilo will take the second seat.

I'm down to 1 L1 and 1 L2 in combat. Will likely use the L2 to summon, and keep the last L1 for emergency healing.

Me and Chikasa are riding Vossi so we can pretend to be Sons of Ipsoth and march in like we own the place.

Max takes a look at Vossi and feeds her another serum if she's looking beat still.

Kitkul is fine with taking the buggy behind Vossi, or just running behind the great beast.

Once I get hit for some damage sure. Vossi did take a big bite out of me ;-) Not that I am complaining about it, she was being beat up by us because she was being controlled.

After leaving the others to make a distraction with Vossi, Gunnz slips through the underbrush, trying to get to near where the guests are being kept.

I'll jump the guards when the distraction comes, and see if any of the guests or captured guards can help.

Some of you are able to sneak pass the guard when other don't but you manage to still surprise them!
As you move to the gala, you see that smashed wood and glassware litter the gala site. Ripped tents, blood splatters, and scorch marks provide clear evidence of a recent battle.

The hostages are all on the dance floor in front of the stage, with their hands and legs in binders and tied to each other with loops of cable line.

Ipsoth, the well dressed Haan, is giving a speech, broadcasting his manifesto to Castrovel using the gala’s infosphere feed.

Other eco-terrorists patrol the area.

Those having made a DC20 stealth/disguise are able to place themselves anywhere on the map (except on the stage).

The others can place themselves on any square at the border of the map

I'd like to put Vossi close to the stage to get her between the hostages and some of the soldiers. Even though Chikasa didn't pass, can I still move us? Or do I need to hop off and move forward? If so, just go ahead and put on the east edge of the dance floor.

Once Max realizes that the jig is up, he flips his vocal modulator to the 'normal' and 'loud' settings.

As much as this will hurt, best if I take a few shots such that the hostages and my wounded allies don't have to.

40 ft is less than 60 ft, so this Envoy is quite happy with that.

If I screwed that up (mobile maps... player is a dummy) feel free to fix it. Are we supposed to take our surprise action now or after everyone is positioned? Or is positioning our surprise action?

Really?! Ah damn, what a waste of a human bonus feat then. All the more reason to get Reynold killed and use his boon to come back as a borai: he can then ditch that feat as part of the race change. Any chance you can make all the baddies go after me? ;)
