Everyone has seen first hand what happens when Ez tries to use ranged weaponry, but I'm more than willing to contribute to someone who can use the alchemist fire.

GM how do you want to handle Drask going into the pit? It is just gonna be like a standard profession role?

Hm, let's roll a d100 give you a 40% chance of winning so 1-40. Roll your profession and since it is only 1 night instead of a week of work divide the gold you would receive by 5. If you win (based on the percentile roll) double that amount.

Haven't dealt with profession skills much and didn't look at the rules so just running that off the top of my head, if I'm missing something let me know.

Hey I'm fine with whatever, that sounds good to me.

Profession (pit fighter): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Percentile chance of winning (61-100): 1d100 ⇒ 74

As a rule for consistency I always go with "high rolls is good for the player", but if you feel more comfortable rolling the percentile yourself I'm fine with that as well.

I'm really curious about Ez's scheme, now that there are so many spoilers!

I think Drask will unfortunately get to find out most of what happened eventually, though I don't believe it's going to be in a manner that he's going to be happy about.

I'm realizing how quickly I run out of rage rounds if I'm not careful. That fight with the spiders was particularly brutal because they crowd controlled me, making me waste turns and not kill things to restore rage rounds. I'm going to have to be more frugal in the future.

Ez stated in her post that she moved back so I put Sapher next to her on the map, but she should be in Ez's spot.

I'm flying to San Diego for the next few days and will be mostly out of pocket. I'll be back Monday evening, but I'll try to stay on top of the game. GMPC me if I'm holding you up!

Just to be clear, because I don't think that it's cool to endanger the party, both out of character and in character I judged this fight to be easy enough that Drask sitting out wouldn't seriously endanger anybody in the party. Mostly based of how the enemies are already dropping like flies.

I certainly won't make a habit of it.

While Mokhasi is not a coward, he also wouldn’t have run in if he thought the enemies were a threat.

Since we are starting to face all sorts off odd creatures, if someone has the time and would like to help compile a list of ID creatures that would save me some time in doing it after I get through my mid-terms this week :)

Sorry for the delay everyone, my wife was in a pretty serious car accident Tues. She is luckily ok, but have been dealing with the aftermath of that the last couple days and have just been a bit mentally exhausted. Things are mostly cleared up now and I should be good to get back into things again.

Tossing out a note to all my games. I will be off to Disney World next week with my family and the extended family starting Saturday morning through the following Saturday night. As such my posting will be limited to non-existent. I will try and check in if I can in the morning or at night but not sure how that will go. So just be prepared for a bit of a slow-down over the next week.

So if I understand the loot sheet, Caroliss has received 1,303.18 + 422.50 gold? I think she has a lot of gold she could lend to the party. As a combat-inept multi-class caster, her equipment needs are nearly non-existent. Would gladly have Sapher's earthbreaker be masterwork, for example.
