Ibb - while it isn't full grown trees, i'm incline to think they are at least 10-15 in height for this time of growth in swamps. So yeah, don't think charge would have been practical.

Daniel's aim holds true as he fires a straight arrow that pierces the troll's relatively thick hide. The creature yells in pain, and is unable to maintain his concentration thus losing the ability to complete his spell. In a rage, the troll lashes out against Ibb as the half-orc closes in.

Bite: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (18) + 13 = 31 B/P: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13

The troll then takes a step back and creates a flaming sphere right against Ibb!

Fire!: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 1) = 7 Reflex dc17 negates

Meanwhile, the blighted plant continue his attack against Cernan. The Aasimir takes on heavy injuries under the monsters rampage, and slowly bleeds into unconsciousness.

bite: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32 B/P: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Vines: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (13) + 13 = 26 B: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Vines: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25 B: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Umm. Wow, those rolls. I.. I.. think Cernan is dead? Can someone double check? I've been going through the math, it seems the first attack has him at 0 hp, which is not unconscious but disabled, so the creature would continue to at least knock him unconscious, but Cernan is now at -11 with 10 CON.

Wow, I assumed Cernan was OK becase they kept attacking that flower. Crap. It's really dangerous! I only double checked here because you asked, and your math looks correct to me (except I think the second attack would have put Cernan at -58/48 HP); hopefully Cernan has something for emergencies.

Round 1
Troll Fireball: 16 damage taken (32/48 HP)
Flower Moves

Round 2
Flower full rounds Cernan, 2 vines for 8 and 13 damage (Cernan's Talisman goes off) (No bite as Xuan rightly points out!)
21 total damage taken (37 total) (11/48 HP remaining)

Round 3
AOO misses
Bite hits, 11 damage taken (0/48 HP remaining)
Vine hits 10 damage taken (-10 HP; equal to 10 con, -58 HP net)

I think you might be right. My math is the same as Ibb's. He was at 11/48 before this attack. The first attack brought him to 0/48, then the second one to -10/48, which would have killed him even before the 3rd attack. (Ibb, I think for the first attack, the bite might not have the 20ft range.) Cernan, do you have enough PP for a raise?

Fung is momentarily stunned when he see Cernan fall. He allows himself to drift further away from the monstrous plant, fearful of what it would do to him if it gets within reach. He switches to a focus blast of air, hoping that with the increased power that it would take it down quickly.

Flower did not regenerate, typo! But the troll did. So that's updated.

Cernan, You still required to make the stabilize check! As you are now "dead" at -14

The kinteticist keeps his distance away from the flower after witnessing the monstrous plant take down Cernan with it's long reaching vines! Harnessing the power of his environment, a powerful air blast is shot towards the blighted creature knocking it somewhat.

Cernan - Talisman's take up a neck slot, so I believe you can only have 1 active at a time. GM - Was that Umbrato or Rallas that took the negative energy damage which I'm guessing was due to being in the swamp?

Daniel steps sideways into the tree, instantly porting across the battleground and away from the sneaky little plant jerks. He then unleashes a flurry of arrows at the monsters, starting with the one tossing the limp body of his ally around like a rag-doll and hopefully switching to the one bashing his other ally's head in.

A wave of positive energy reaches you as one of the Pathfinder agent clerics run through! "May the light of the Dawnflower guide you!" Before you are able to thank her, she is gone from sight!

Correction on the negative neergy, I read it completely wrong. D4 is for tier 1-4, we get 3d8! Rallas has two rounds of saves (Fortitude DC19) to possibly reduce it to minimum damage.

Negative Energy: 3d8 ⇒ (2, 3, 8) = 13
Negative Energy: 3d8 ⇒ (5, 1, 5) = 11

Ibb steps through the portal and fires a barrage of arrows at the blight flower in hopes to eliminate the threat quickly. However, he forgets to take into account the shrubbery in his path, even the slightest of contact with the leaves veers his arrows slightly away from the target.
Even with minimum cover bonus the shots misses, but for transparency, I would think due to the angle of that shot, it should at least be soft cover.

Ibb presses and swings his nodachi at the troll fury. His blade cuts deep as blood spews from the creatures wound. "ARHRHHAGHHH" The monsters growls in pain! But immediately retaliates by attempting to burn the half-orc.

Is Irp still on Ibb? If yes, that flaming sphere would have affected Irp last turn.

Flaming sphere: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 2) = 7 Ibb & Irp(?) can make a reflex DC17 to negate
Burning Hands: 5d4 ⇒ (1, 2, 2, 2, 3) = 10 Irp & Irp(?) can make a reflex DC16 to halve

The Bilght flower, in a very weakend state, lashes out everything it has against Umbrato, unaware that Cernan has recovered consciousness thanks to the positive energy earlier. Umbrato stays ahead of the plant, deflecting all attacks from every angle!

Irp:
So looks like the general consensus is that the familiar has total cover for purposes of line of affect, but as the bag is not a protective gear, it doesn't stop AoE spells. Burning hands and Flaming sphere does not require LoE since it's not a target spell and works as an AoE hence Irp should be affected by burning damage. Although some GM's have pointed out that they might even say if you have a "familiar Satchel" they might give leniency that AoE doesn't affect the familiar. But that's not RAW, so there's GM variation on that.

**OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT**

Strands of purple energy whip across the battleground and begin to swirl above the remains of the giant flower. The continuous chant of the Twinhorn shamans reaches a fever pitch and then suddenly stops. After a breathless moment of silence, a loud reverberating boom echoes across the swamp as a column of purple energy pierces through the clouds, dissipating into the starry sky. Shouts of celebration begin to sound across the field as Medda makes her way to the heart of the blight. A shaft of moonlight shines on the site through the parted clouds as she rips through the withered roots of the blighted flower. Medda reaches in and draws out the shriveled remains of a female crusader. In stark contrast to the rest of the remains, her silvery breastplate glimmers in the moonlight. A grievous blow has scarred its surface where a golden engraved figure spreads out her wings. Trails of blood seep out from scars running across the figure. Medda lowers the remains gently upon a white cloak that a Twinhorn warrior has placed on the ground.

With a heavenly glow, the ghostly form of Ivvora appears in the clouds above. “She was my sister-in-arms against the vile Tar-Baphon. I now know that her sacrifice spared me all those years ago, as it will all of you in the days to come. Go with Vildeis’ grace and use this blessed plate to vanquish my hated adversary. Hurry back north, for the moment of Eshimka’s reckoning draws near!”

Medda looks up to the sky as the visage of Ivvora dissipates, the red phantom hand of Anok floating above her shoulder. After a moment, she kneels next to the crusader’s remains and carefully wraps them up in the white cloak, which is slowly soaked with red. She looks at the crowd gathered around her and speaks up. “We stand here triumphant, having rid this land of corruption. But this is a mere shade of the darkness that awaits us at the Solstice Scar! Fear not, for Vildeis’ blessing will guide our weapons to strike true and eradicate Eshimka for good!” Medda motions for the Twinhorn warriors to raise the bundled remains on their shields as one of the honored dead. “Pathfinders, you have done much for my tribe and our lands, but I ask you once more to lend us your weapons so that we might end the evil that haunts Solstice Scar. What say you?”

~~~~~~~~~~~End of Part 5 / Beginning of Part 6~~~~~~~~~~~
Part 6 begins after a long journey back to the Twinhorn territory.
Inspired by the events in the Fangwood, the Pathfinders and Twinhorn warriors have at last returned to the Kellid following’s territory. The scattered woodlands that once stood in the Tusk Mountains are now cast in perpetual shadow despite it being only a few hours after noon. The trees are bare, the grass crumbles at a touch, and even the accumulated snow of midwinter is melting in the freezing air as if surrendering to entropy.
Medda confers with some of the Twinhorn following who stayed behind, then she addresses the crowd. “The winter solstice does not peak until tonight, yet already Eshimka’s vanguard has escaped the Negative Energy Plane. They now control the area around the planar scar for several miles in each direction. If we’re to stop them, we need to break through these outer forces, regroup at the center, and take control of the rift. If that doesn’t draw Eshimka out, a few brave souls will need to pass through the rift to crush her lieutenants, destroy whatever is keeping the rift open, and draw her into our world. When they do, we need to ensure there are no reinforcements, and that means eliminating any commanders who have already broken through. That includes a corrupted dragon that has our scouts worried.”
She smiles grimly. “When the paladin Ivvora faced the beast Eshimka here centuries ago, she fought with Vildeis’s blessing and banished the fiend. Tonight, Eshimka would return to our world, but we are not one paladin; we are many!” She pricks her finger on her spear and paints a set of bloody wings upon her forehead. The Twinhorns follow suit “And we too carry Vildeis’s favor!” With these words, the painted wings blaze with light.
Table GMs, please begin Part 6
Gazing beyond the horizon, it is clear to see that the land has been desecrated by the hordes of undead. With the seekers in charge of operations, they are conflicted upon which is the direct route to the rift and other high-priority targets, as such their vote becomes spilt with every team of Pathfinders choosing for themselves where they feel to be most useful.
One of the seekers raises his voice as he addresses the congregation, " You decide here, some would like to take the fight head on, killing as many monsters along the way, while others would choose to sneak around while focusing on the getting towards to void. Another alternative has been presented as well, the waterways are typically frozen during winter, but entropic influence of the Negative Energy Plane is causing the ice and snow to melt and flow for miles around. It is perhaps the most direct route without confrontation."
You have a decision to make Pathfinders. a)Confront b)Evade c)Canoe (down the rapids). I will go with first option with 2 votes.
It has been a while since you've last combat, so assume full health and resources replenished.
The group bravely and hastily takes the most direct route towards the standing stones. Twinhorn warriors and fellow Pathfinders race slightly ahead of you, and your breath is clearly visible in the chill air. It isn't long that they are met with hostiles, but to your surprise, a few Kellid warriors stand alongside the undead in attempt to hinder your advances.
Standing centred, is a skeleton with a thick tangle of discolored entrails clings to this lurching skeleton’s torso and winds upward to loll from its jaw like a clawed tongue.
