Hey Everyone, I am looking for three people for the Dead Suns adventurepath for Starfinder.
I already have one person who wants to play.
There is no player guide for this AP. There really arent any real prerequisites for this AP, but it helps if your character has some ties to the Starfinder Society. You could be wanting to join the organisation, or you could do contract work for them.
Races: Core/Legacy
Classes/Themes: All are allowed.
Ability scores: standard 10 point buy.
Starting wealth: 1000 credits
Starting level: 1
No third party.
We'll do recruitment based on your submission.

GM Woran |

Yes, i have looked at how things are done though. And i have RPG experience in general. PF, Warhammer etc
Ok, excellent. Generally open aplications like this is that people post their character idea with a small backstory, and then the GM decides who would make a good party together.

Blaydsong |

I'm currently waiting to hear about a couple of other games, so I don't want to jump headfirst into too much at once, but I am definitely considering this, as I've been interested in learning more about Starfinder, and this AP specifically.
So I am definitely tentatively interested, and looking at some options for a character. So far, I'm looking at an Android Technomancer, but that's not my final answer.

I am interested as well. I have played one pbp scenario so I have little experience, but I have been looking for an opportunity to play a pbp AP. I am working on an idea for a Kasathan Star Shaman Mystic who follows Ibra. He loves flying through space, and sealing his armor to meditate in space each morning. Anything that lets him experience more of the Cosmos. The Starfinder Society would be the perfect opportunity for him as they send their agents out into the vast searching for knowledge. I will work on fleshing out the concept a bit more.

AngryArchaeologist |

I am also a new to pbp and I would love to get in on this. I'm still figuring out the Starfinder society stuff and getting setup on the website, but I wanted to drop a post expressing interest. I'm hoping to play a half-orc shock and awe soldier who had dreams of making big as a rockstar but was talentless and therefore unsuccessful. To make some money and make his name known before trying his hand at music again the has turned to mercenary work. If you don't need a soldier, I'm happy to take another class, just let me know!

Mira Yon |

Mira Yon is an up and coming (100 subs!) MePipe star. Always chipper, her holos are of the body modifications she performs on herself. Her latest holo is an instructional on how to apply gill sheaths properly, what to watch out for, typical complications and who to call in case your laser scalpel slips. Now with 1500 views and counting!
To make ends meet she works as an assistant medical lab tech for the Starfinder Society. She has recently put in for a transfer to active field work, mostly out of boredom and the lack of advancement opportunities inside Absalom Station.
Human, Envoy, Icon specializing in medicine. Not a whole lot crunch-wise yet but I should be able to throw it together soon.

Jaru of Clan Ro |

Jaru's family was traveling from the Idari to see Absalom Station when his ship was attacked by pirates. During the battle the hull was breached, and Jaru was just able to activate his suits environmental seals as he was pulled into the vacuum of space. He watched as every one he loved died, and the ship was pillaged. As he floated, cold and alone, he began to hear whispers from the void. The whispers told Jaru to set aside his loss, set aside his old life, and to seek out a new purpose amongst the stars. Jaru scoffed. He had been floating here for hours, and his oxygen reserves were nearly gone. As darkness took his vision, its tenebrous fingers dragging at his conscious mind, Jaru despaired. "All is lost. How can I be expected to search for new meaning in my life just as my life comes to an end?"
Later he came to in the medbay of a Stewards cruiser bound for Absalom Station. They had come across the wreckage of his ship and rescued him. He spent the rest of the trip staring out at the stars, and they stared back. His time in space had changed him. He could feel a connection to something. Something out there, and it had given him power as well as purpose.
Upon arriving at Absalom Station Jaru inquired among the Stewards how he might find passage on a ship bound for other systems.
"Join the Starfinders," they all laughed, and so Jaru set out to find the source of the whispers amongst the stars. His first stop: Lorespire Complex.

Gettysburg Android mercenary soldier.
Crunch is in the profile.
My code name is Gettysburg; I never chose it. it was assigned to me. I don't know who made me or who arranged the kills but all I all I know was that I had to do them.
Gettysburg is an android who worked with some very unsavory individuals apart of a mercenary kill squad that was sold to the highest bidder to do anonymous assassinations. He served as a pilot and a soldier for their squad. there was six of them 5 androids 1 human. The human who never said his name but went by the code name, Handler. He was the one who ensured the androids continued support. Before the android revolt there were intelligent androids that were sold as weapons to be the perfect soldiers. He happened upon a shipment and some of these androids and modified them. He input a shutdown switch that he could activate with only a thought. With his highly trained and dangerous team many people were killed. But as time went on the androids started to detest their job and wanted to leave. Finally on a mission one of the androids killed the Handler by sacrificing himself with a grenade.
With no more threat of death the androids fled. Gettysburg traveled trying to escape the group that had originally employed him. Upon hearing about the starfinder society and the influence they have he has hitched a ride to Absolom station to try and join them to stay alive.
Thanks for the consideration!

Jeddrix "Drix" Brimmlock was born into servitude on Apostae. From a young age he showed a talent for making music (noise?). Drix's parents were very supportive and sent him on a one-way ticket to Absalom Station for enrollment in a prestigious performance academy said to be able to trace it's history to pre-gap bard colleges.
Upon arrival at Absalom Station, plans went horribly awry. The academy appeared to not know Drix was coming. Furthermore, he had no funds to return home. Destitute and alone, Drix was determined to become the galaxy-class performer he had always wanted to be. Armed with daft optimism and a foolish dream, Drix takes mercenary contracts with the Starfinder Society to earn money and works on song writing in his down time.
Drix believes his single "Skittermanda' Boots [parental advisory]" was a real hit. He often reminds passerbys that it was #101 on the top 100 list. If one was ever interested in hiring him for a private performance he would be more than willing. Drix can be found around Absalom Station waiting to sign autographs should he happen upon someone who actually wanted one.
Jeddrix "Drix" Brimmlock is a Half-Orc Soldier, Mercenary Theme, Shock and Awe fighting style. Chaotic good, follows Desna. Check out his demo.

Statblock for Han’s Solarian and the alias I’ll be using.
I’ll write up a background for him soonish. Long story short is that he is essentially a prophet for the inevitable heat death of the universe but is not the sort that actively tries to speed it up. The best analogy I can think of is that he views existence much like a symphony. Each individual piece is fascinating and it will end at the appointed time, but trying to rush it along ruins the experience.

Lyrr |

Just a small update to the character sheet. The more put thought into him, the more solid of a character he becomes.
Changed his Alignment to Neutral. He just seems like a very laid-back kind of person who doesn't feel very strongly one way or another about anything, as long as it accomplishes his objectives. He doesn't wish anyone harm, in particular, but isn't about to be railroaded or threatened either.
Also, I added a basic background to the character sheet. I'll get a personality write-up done soon, too.
:)

One thing I'm trying to sort out, while I'm poking around at my character:
With the Junk Armor spell, does anyone know if the Max Dex value when creating Light Armor is rounded down or minimum 1?
If you use this spell to create light armor, the armor has an EAC bonus equal to your caster level, a KAC bonus equal to your caster level + 2, and a maximum Dex bonus equal to 1 + one-quarter your caster level.
I am currently assuming rounded down, but would like to make sure I'm accurate.

So, yeah, I am the forth for the group that GM Wotan mentioned before.
Name’s Antonius, but my friends call me Rat Tony. We’ll see if youz all qualify, capiche?
I am the rat, you know, ysoki, who knows how to get things done. You may have heard of my brother, Lucius. He’s a real up and comer in the Starfinder Society and all, but it was left up to me to carry on the family bidness, if you know what I mean.
Yeah, so, just like him, I am a fixer. I fix things... ships, guns, computers, bad bidness deals. I make problems go away. Just remember, if I can’t get it done, I probably know a rat who can. It’s all part of da bidness.
So, just remember, I gots the skills. I can pilot. I can shoot, I can fix the broken engines you jabronis are probably gonna break. And I’ll talk us out of trouble, if it comes to dat.
So, lets go pull this heist off... what? It isn’t a heist? What do you mean?

Jaru of Clan Ro |

Greetings, Rat Tony. I am Jaru Malaris Xin Yarik of Clan Ro, House Cygnus, Star Seeker of the line of Zem. My friends call me... well they called me Jaru.
You seem like a very useful person to have around. I can see why you were chosen for this.... mission? The Starfinder Society isn't in the business of planning heists are they? I suppose it doesn't matter. This is the path I am on. If I must execute a heist in order to achieve my own goals then so be it.

Lyrr |

"Oh. Hello." The pale android with the deep red data veins looks up, suddenly realizing that he isn't alone. The androgynous voice coming from the figure makes it difficult to distinguish gender, and his face is half hidden beneath the cowl of his long coat."I am Lyrr." He pulls the large rifle off of his back and starts to fiddle with it, seeming to have already forgotten that anyone was there.
"Perhaps we will travel together." He continues suddenly. "Perhaps we won't. I suppose it remains to be seen what the star may bring." She looks up into your again, piercing red pools of light holding your gaze. Just don't impede me in my goals, and there won't be any problems."

Mira Yon |

Mira smiles warmly and broadly, a holo recorder hovers in front of her, "Hiiiyeee, I'm sooo happy to meet you! Wow! Your coat is sooo cuuute! And shiny... What kind of product do you use?"
She waves her hand absentmindedly, "Oh! I'm Mira. I spent some time in the simulator in college so I can fly too! But I'm prolly not as good a you. Oh! I know a thing or two about body mods which is like medical surgery so if you get hurt I can patch you up!" She looks over to the others, "And don't worry I studied soooo many different physiologies! Maybe we can film them for my channel?!"

Drix is leaning against a wall slapping his thighs, bobbing his head, and humming a tune. He quickly greats any passing glace in his direction with a full lower-canine dominated smile. "Sup brother, welcome to the big show. Just in time too, we about to be curtains up." Drix walks up to the crowd and passes out holotapes to the group. "As long as you're here, check my demo. Hopefully we get goin' soon. I got places to go and sentients to rock!"
