Jeydahvu's knowledge of the arcane arts let him recall that unseen servants are dismissed after taking some sort of damage. The purple runes have no magical effect, other than the one that lets them shine.

Barbo is able to discern an aura, belonging to the school of abjuration, while not a proper spell, it could have caused the force effect that dismissed Jeeves.

As soon as Jeydahvu clears the walls with the Pathfinder's help, the tentacles strength diminishes until the pressure is all gone, once he can breathe freely, the oread begins examining the tome in detail.

The tome is entitled It Crawls in Darkness, you find that it is physically intact, yet most of its pages are blank; those with text are scattered at random throughout the book. Some of these pages have faint lingering magic in their writing. The tome contains references to the Seer’s, Mines, and Monuments districts of Jormurdun.

The tome also functions like a scroll that contains Haste and Prayer.

Hundreds of stalactites extend from the ceiling thirty feet overhead. Dirt and stony debris litter the cave floor, along with discarded scrolls, bits of bone, and a few jawless skulls. Moisture drips from the stalactites into seven natural pools scattered about the chamber, which bears a putrescent odor.

The quiet moving figures, now identified as wights, come into view. In a moment, his features shift towards those of a bull, small horns and a flattened nose a visible mark of his newfound strength. Quick on the draw, Edmund unleashes a series of arrows towards the blue shimmering form.

He pulls out his crossbow, and shoots a single bolt at one of the wights in the back, figuring that should be safe enough.

@Kitajo: Can I assume you're hitting Red until it drops, and continue on with Yellow?

Selûne bites on the wight, tearing muscle and bone, and not liking the flavor one bit, Smarmy hits the lonely undead, Barbo's acid begins to dissolve rotten flesh, Kitajo becomes a swirling tornado of punches and feels that his elbow smash can't really bruise his decomposing foe. And Edmund... he ponders on buying his arrows from a new fletcher next time in town.

@Jey: Blue provokes an AoO.

Yellow - Slam vs Kitajo: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Fails to harm Kitajo.

Now that all the wights have closed, Smarmy doesn't trust his aim through the chaotic melee. Instead, he drops his crossbow, and moves around towards the backside of the nearest one, drawing his axe as he goes.

He can't quite get into a flanking position, but takes a swipe at it anyway, not trusting his companions to move.
