Wait...
WTFWTFWTEVERLIVINGFFFFFFFFFFFFF??!!??!!!? Xukong's entire profile has been...well, erased, ironically.
WHAT DO I DO?!?
This has to have something with these godsdamned glitches all over the site....
Please report the bug immediately. I'm sure you have an offline character sheet you can upload, no?

Please report the bug immediately.
Where, and to whom?
I'm sure you have an offline character sheet you can upload, no?
Not one that's anywhere close to up-to-date. The Flaxseed Lodge is ALL I've had for years now, as far as Pathfinder Society goes.

Here's hoping there's something they can do. I would prepare for the worst and start rebuilding from your latest update.

That would mean tallying up all my Chronicles and just rebuilding from memory as best I can...which isn't the worst thing in the world (needlessly annoying, though, that's for sure).
If it came to that, could you please give your seal of approval saying what happened or whatever on my Chronicle to come?
GM Weenerton |
Let me check with venture staff for appropriate procedure here.
Las Lajas |
Is it clear these creatures have a 10' reach?
GM Weenerton |
It is unclear but they look like normally proportioned creatures, just larger.
Las Lajas |
So creatures which 10' reach aren't obvious by looking at them? I have no ability to determine if they can reach me from 10' away?
Xukong |
Enora takes a step forward. If they are plants, that means they will burn well, right?
Technically, the fungus kingdom is more closely related to the animal...
GM Weenerton |
From experience you know most creatures that take up that kind of space have reach.
GM Weenerton |
Xukong, FYI your Cracked Orange Prism Ioun stone would not resonate in PFS:
Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Seekers of Secrets
Everything in this book is legal for play with the following notes. Equipment: ioun stones use method 1 for resonance and never use method 2. Additionally, only normal ioun stones have resonance—inferior ioun stones never do. Advanced ioun stones are not legal for play. Prestige Class: Pathfinder Savants replace the item creation feat prerequisite with Spell Focus.

1. I somehow blanked on their being Large.
2. Bummer; I never saw that.
Las Lajas |
@Amerel, I hadn't noticed that we needed a Disable Device check for a mission success. So now I understand why you attempted it
Las Lajas |
@GM - I am going to assume that you agree that a Silent Image is a "figment" spell and thus constructs are not immune to seeing the figment?
Because figments and glamers are unreal, they cannot produce real effects the way that other types of illusions can. Figments and glamers cannot cause damage to objects or creatures, support weight, provide nutrition, or provide protection from the elements. Consequently, these spells are useful for confounding foes, but useless for attacking them directly.
If you agree, then Las is going to pull out his wand of silent images. and creates creatures behind the objects.

Yup, that's fine.
Las Lajas |
Actually, gong to wait and see what the others do.

How about Knowledge (Engineering)? You'd think so, from the sound of it. Kind of a specialty of mine.
Amerel |
I wasn't sure it was a mission success, but so far each area had something you had to do to finish it for the other tables, so I took a (lucky) guess.
Pre_Gen |
Have I been playing magic missile wrong and it is effected by hardness or did it resist the damage due to a different ability. You can wait to answer the question if you don't want to spoil anything about the fight. Mostly just wondering if I have been playing wrong haha
GM Weenerton |
It's a finicky bit so I'll discuss it. The creature has hardness 5. Each missile is treated as a separate damage source, so it basically can't ever overcome the defense without some other modification.
Xukong |
It shouldn't care less about hardness, I can tell you that much. Either it's like a golem - immune to anything subject to spell resistance - or it's one of those freakishly rare things with [Force] resistance/immunity...or the DM made a mistake.
Amerel |
I'm not the GM, but I don't think she could use the spell to begin with since you can only target creatures.

Magic Missile
Source PRPG Core Rulebook pg. 309
School evocation [force]; Level arcanist 1, bloodrager 1, magus 1, psychic 1, sorcerer 1, wizard 1
Casting
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S
Effect
Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Targets up to five creatures, no two of which can be more than 15 ft. apart
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance yes
Description
A missile of magical energy darts forth from your fingertip and strikes its target, dealing 1d4+1 points of force damage.
The missile strikes unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat, so long as it has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a creature can't be singled out. Objects are not damaged by the spell.
For every two caster levels beyond 1st, you gain an additional missile—two at 3rd level, three at 5th, four at 7th, and the maximum of five missiles at 9th level or higher. If you shoot multiple missiles, you can have them strike a single creature or several creatures. A single missile can strike only one creature. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage.
GM Weenerton |
You are fighting Animated Objects, which being a construct does in fact make it a "creature" and targetable by Enora and Magic Missile.
Pre_Gen |
Interesting. Thanks for the clarification. My table has always played with force damage not bring subject to hardness. But your ruling seems correct and fair. My bad.
Must be a house rule that I didn't realize was a house rule.
Las Lajas |
@GM - if we have 2 rounds before the next wave, then Las is going to drink a shield extract, but it sounded like you were suggesting that we're done with combat for this phase..
GM Weenerton |
Correct. Although we may be about to engage in some more combat :)
Las Lajas |
Then Las drinks his shield extract which lasts for 4 minutes.
Las Lajas |
@GM - what is needed for Las to move up to the next level? A climb check or is is simply a move action?
What is needed to move down a level? Can I trip from above?
GM Weenerton |
There's no specific instruction for it, so I'll just say it's a regular step.
Pre_Gen |
I am sorry for my delay! Unexpected family visit has really thrown off my schedule. I should be able to maintain a once per day posting now, but I am completely understanding of a liberal posting policy for me.
Xukong |
Well, here IS a weird question!: Can a single wand be used twice in one round, by two different users?
GM Weenerton |
technically, yes. A uses the wand, either A passes or B grabs the wand from A, B casts from the wand.
Zarnel the Torn |
Yeah, I wasn't sure if you were planning to refresh the shield, or let it roll into the next combat. But thanks for the clarification!
Zarnel the Torn |
So what was the deal with that tengu NPC, Katcho? Is he still with us? He didn't seem to add anything to the story or provide much if any assistance or information. Or did I miss something?
GM Weenerton |
Katcho was a source of info at the start of the scenario. Would have departed around the time of the first battle encounter.
Las Lajas |
Everyone check their coin purse!
Las Lajas |
Is the scenario saying that we can't take 10?
GM Weenerton |
There is a consequence for failure, therefore 10 cannot be taken.
GM Weenerton |
Apologies, Las. Upon review taking 20 would be impossible. Taking 10 is fine here. I'll update the action shortly
Pre_Gen |
Family just went back to New York and am back to checking consistently. I am really sorry for the unexpected delay. Thank you for your patience.
Xukong |
I've just taken the liberty of reorienting the back rows a tad - would that have been alright to say they'd just as soon have been lined up that way?
Las Lajas |
Can we reach up under the water to get to the book?
Arin Qualnoh |
FYI, I’ll be away on a camping trip this weekend, and unable to post Saturday and most of Sunday. I’ll return late Sunday afternoon to post.
But I’m guessing we’ll be done or close to it by then?
GM Weenerton |
~March 5 end date.
You have to destroy the Wall of Force effect before attempting to grab the book.
Las Lajas |
Are there plants growing at the base of the effect? If so, does it look like getting the them to grow might push up in to the effect?
What about the ceiling, how how does the effect go? How wide?
