Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Rudzik can't make heads or tails of these city folks. Maybe he ate something that disagrees with his belly, he thinks to himself as he watches Wilk. "Just like we practiced," he says under his breath. When he sees the wolf biting at thin air, he grins. "Gotcha," he whispers as he looses a torrent of arrows.
Seeking should negate the miss chance for attacking an invisible opponent as long as Rudzik is shooting into the correct square, correct?

Pooka spurs Luna into moving, and the dog eagerly complies. The two bolt out the door in a blur of fur and steel.
"Where did he go girl?" Pooka says, flashing his hand across Luna's face, the prescribed hand motion to command her to look for the scent. Luna's nose perks up, then dips down, her nostrils flaring while she looks with her sense of smell.
Move action to follow where everyone seems to be going, then another move action to try to find the guy. As per my normal standard, I'll roll a perception for Pooka, which will likely fail due to the invisibility, and then I will post as Luna to roll her perception.

Between scent, see invisibility, and the fact that whip dude is blind, you definitely get him before he runs too far.
The Pathfinders locate and promptly dispatch the remaining Technic League member who was trying to flee.
Ingret Jor thanks the Pathfinders for their assistance although she grumbles about the damage done to her tavern. She fears that this won’t be the last they hear from the Technic League and suggests you leave the city as soon as possible.
So you got your next lead in the form of a journal; what’s next for the Pathfinders?

"If nobody else wants those potions, Wilk got beat up pretty good by that fancy whip man," Rudzik says. "Otherwise, it'll take me a little while to repair all the damage."
GM, are you alright with average healing from wands when out of combat?
After apologizing to Ingret for the mess, Rudzik consults the journal. "Follow the Sellen south two days, then turn west towards a canyon with silver walls." He sighs. "Odd, but I've followed odder directions before." He whistles for Wilk and they both stand ready to depart.

Yes, and potions too; any healing consumables.
Pooka Bladespinner

Pooka looks down at the aftermath before a sickening realization hits him. He looks up to Mutahir, his face screwed up in confusion. "These were slaves." he points to the two dead guards. "I didn't see it. I didn't recognize it. How could I miss it?"
The halfling drops down to his knees, fawning over them in some hopes that they have not quite bled out yet.
Well that sucks. I totally missed that in the descriptions. If average healing is good, then Pooka needs 8 charges to get back to full. Luna didn't take any damage thanks to Evasion.
Despondent, Pooka picks through the loot, finding what might be useful. He snags one of the natural armor amulets and loops it over Luna's head, snugging the lanyard up so it doesn't flop around when she runs.
I'll take the potion of jump and potion of swim if no one wants them.
Mutahir Hashem
|
Mutahir is a much colder man than Pooka. He places his hand on the Halfling's shoulder though, not offering up any words of comfort, just a moment of condolence. After a moment he says...
Perhaps their gods will be kinder masters in death than in life.
With that he turns to Ingret.
I think you've got more problems than you expected.
Aegekt
|
Aegekt sheaths his blade with minimal effort. He looks over to find Pooka knelt over one of the League agents—apparently a slave—trying to save him.
They are the enemy and they attacked us—they had what was coming to them.
He is about to speak his opinion out loud to the halfling when Mutahir approaches him first.
Perhaps their gods will be kinder masters in death than in life.
Aegekt is taken aback! Seeing the Rahadoumi put faith in the gods—even a strange fascimile therein—makes Aegekt realize just how devastating this must be to them. He bites the inside of his cheek; he wants to say something to ease their pain, but he knows that anything he might say would grant little solace or might even make the situation worse—he’s never been one for “kind” words. Aegekt chooses to stay silent.
| GM Picatrix |
Pooka expresses remorse once he realizes two of the attackers were slaves. Alas, they’re suuuuuper dead. After going through their attackers’ belongings, the Pathfinders refer to the Jor family’s journal and press on.
The shallow ravine known locally as the Silver Trough lies three days southwest of Chessed, and by following the instructions laid out in the journal, the Pathfinders reach the landmark with no difficulty. The walls of the ravine are flecked with slivers of silvery metal.
Like a rotting gourd, a rounded metal ruin lies atop a low rise. In numerous places its surface is punctured—sometimes buckled inward as though something had struck it from the outside, and other times flared out as though something within had violently escaped. A ring of gnarled trees grows around the site, as if it were an oasis in the deserted wasteland of Sovereign’s Reach.

"Look alive! We have no idea what...huh?"
Aegekt curiously moves over to the purple thing to the south.
Aegekt will then lead the party proceeding along the path of the arrows, if anything jumps out at us then place me along that path where most appropriate.

"Starship? Rudzik says. "What a waste - look what it's done to these poor trees! Probably warped everything else around here too." He frowns in distaste.
Rudzik is fine to hang out towards the back of the party and follow Aegekt's path. Looks like Wilk might need to wait outside, but we'll reserve judgement until we see the interior.
Rudzik also uses his pearl of power to re-prepare gravity bow.

"What the Wh***" Pooka's words are stolen from his lungs with a heavy thud as he and Luna crash against the wall, some how managing to avoid landing too hard on Aegekt.
"Nine hells..." Pooka grumbles. For a brief moment, he considers clambering to his feet, but decides he better do something about this strange gravity first. He reaches into his handy haversack and wills it to give him his floating feather token. Laying next to his scrambling dog as she panics slightly from the fall, he grips her saddle and clips the token to it. Immediately two large, silver wings sprout from her back.
That should help keep her safe...
Move action to retrieve the token, standard to apply it to Luna. She can now fly, so shouldn't have to worry about the changing gravity.

The ceilings slope on this domed structure, increasing in height towards the center. In this area they’re 10’ high.
Aegekt is able to dodge the falling halfling and dog and remain on his feet despite now standing on a wall. He takes a couple swipes with his weapon at the nearest laser turret, destroying it.
@Xichi, feather fall is an immediate action and since you were flat-footed when the trap was sprung and gravity shifted, you couldn’t take an immediate action. Xichi shoots an energy ray at the southernmost turret, but it doesn’t seem very effective.
@Rudzik, sure, you would be armed while exploring here. You’d notice that Aegekt destroyed that turret you mentioned, but it looks like you juuuust have line-of-sight on the turret Mutahir went after, so we can say you shot that one. Rudzik looses a few adamantine arrows at the southernmost turret ensuring that it too is no longer functional.
Enora casts HASTE!
Pooka helps Luna avoid getting shot by the laser, then gives Luna magical wings. Luna takes flight. Looks like that item requires you to set a direction when you use it, then use a move action to change directions. We’ll say “away from the eastern wall” (i.e. West) was the current direction set. Since Luna didn’t fly more than half her speed, she needs to make a DC 10 fly skill check or fall, as per the “fly” skill. After the fly check we'll see if gravity took her South too.
Mutahir deftly leaps against the wall and attacks the southernmost turret, but it doesn’t feel very effective as the metal is quite hard. Good thing Rudzik just shot a bunch of adamantine arrows at it.

Xichi activates his Winged Boots and begins hovering an inch off the ground, watching for the effects of Rudzik's arrows.
| GM Picatrix |
Aegekt grunts out a few words after being tossed about again. Pooka commands his faithful pup to fly out of the structure, then finds and drinks a potion that gets him airborne. Luna flaps her magic wings and is able to propel herself out. Three quick shots from Rudzik’s adamantine arrows render the turret non-functional. Xichi activates his winged boots and hovers, waiting to see if Rudzik can destroy the turret (which he does).

Rudzik looks around. Maybe there's a way to turn off this madness, he says as he watches Aegekt suddenly fall into the wall. "Enora," he calls, "is this magic? Can you do anything about it?" He looks around for something that might allow him to disable the effect in the meantime...
