I'm not clear on what's near me, so I'm just going to take all my attacks and you apply as many as possible.
Angry that the tooth-fishes ignored his offer, Zagathoth unloads a flurry of punches at whatever enemies come near him.

Cobra Johann strikes down a sahuagin and its tiger shark companion with two swift bites!
7 SAHUAGIN and 2 tiger sharks remain conscious and fighting, though they look shaken and ready to retreat...

Atlantic Tiger Shark |

ROUND 2:
The two remaining tiger sharks, driven by bloodfrenzy, make the fatal mistake of swimming into Cobra Johann's superior reach and pay with their lives as the lightning-swift shifter strikes them both down with attacks of opportunity while they try to feast on their fallen fellows!
All 6 sharks defeated!

Sahuagin of Atlantis |

Seeing the battle quickly turn against them as the mighty heroes now down their front rank in under twelve seconds, the remaining seven sahuagin, three of them overwhelmed by Habiba's crushing despair, turn back the way they came from and flee for their lives!
Full withdraw back toward their lair...

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

Lord P puts his lights in and heads toward the ruined temple as full tilt. So as to led the others.
"Come on then we have work to do"

Michael Johnson 66 |

ADVENTURE MAP OF LOST CITY OF ATLANTIS with 56 number-keyed encounter areas to explore!
The wreck of the Alanqilis is area 1, where the adventure begins! The conch shell horn was sounded from what sounds like area 35, one of several temples to the sea god Poseidon... A school of fish-like humanoids armed with bronze tridents approached from that direction, along with a school of tiger sharks that appeared to be under the fish-folks' control, but the Champions made quick work of them, and they are now retreating back to their lair, area 35.

Michael Johnson 66 |

Assuming Lord Perpireen leads the party in chasing the fleeing sahuagin back to their lair...
The Fey Lord McGibel flutters through the sea almost as easily as he does through the air, glowing like a will o' wisp as he darts after the fleeing fishfolk... Algoral follows in like fashion, beating on his drum in the depths... The other Knights Champions follow as best they can, Cardinal Lucius D'Borja gliding through the water on his magic carpet like a mantaray, Cobra Johann slithering through the water with hangers on...
The fleeing fishfolk duck into the shadows of a barnacle-encrusted SUNKEN TEMPLE of Greek style...
The Champions give chase into the murky temple...

Habiba Al-Sahim |

Habiba struggles to move with the others, but her mermaid spell was short lived indeed, and now she flounders in the water, unable to recall the magic that would let her swim again.
Upping to level 8 deleted my 2nd level Amnesia slot, so no more Alter Self.

Michael Johnson 66 |

The Champions swim or trudge some 800 feet north to the sunken temple. Following the fleeing fishfolk into one of two dark open doorways in the front of a marble temple covered with barnacles and seaweed. Columns stand before the openings, once the supports of roofing that has fallen away...

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

1: where are we on that nice big map, 2: what other buildings do we pass that look def-enable. 3: Can we make our way to the center of the city? what are the buildings like there
Lord P swims on heading into the temple his light shining bright.

1. You are at area 1, the wreck of the Alanqilis.
2. The other buildings are farther than this one. 3. Yes, you can swim toward the center, which features a palace carved from a mountain peak.

Michael Johnson 66 |

The Alanqilis is only the most recent of several ships that have been sucked down to the ruins of Atlantis...
The Merrow (area 3)
The Viking Drakkar Morgenstern (area 5)
The Neiriad (area 7)
The Athenian Trireme Hippocampus (area 9)
The Viking Drakkar Schlang (area 10)
The Minoan Minotaur (area 8)
The dhow Qarash (area 6)
The pirate ship Lamprey (area 2)

Lucius, literally if not figuratively out of his depth, allows the fey lord to take the lead since he at least seems to have some sort of idea of where to go and what to do!
His experienced eye scans his allies and, seeing no major damage, allows his held magic to disperse, ready to be summoned again when needed.

Michael Johnson 66 |

The fleeing sahuagin lead the Champions into the ruins of a temple of Poseidon, past a grove of barnacle-encrusted columns, and into a dark doorway.
Lord Perpireen's will-o'-whisp glow illuminates the flooded interior of the barnacle-encrusted temple.
Some 200 feet by 100 feet, the structure was once filled with incense and burnt offerings to the sea god Poseidon, tapestries and bronze braziers, marble columns and orichalcum tiles all covered with barnacles and seaweed now...
Here the sahuagin nest their eggs. Rows of fishfolk eggs, incubating in the cold depths... No wonder they are cold-blooded creatures...
The survivors hiss and cower over the eggs when the Champions follow them into their lair, and hope that the paltry hoard of treasure they've managed to scrabble together is enough to satisfy the raiders so they leave the rest of the defeated and eggs unharmed...

Michael Johnson 66 |

The treasure is piled up inside a giant clam shell, and consists of:
300 gold dubloons
1,783 silver shillings
5,492 copper pence
198 pearls worth 10 gp apiece
A gold comb with moonstone setting worth 200 gp
4 potions of spiderclimbing (useful for boarding ships from below)
3 potions of water breathing

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

"Hurt nothing here, they attacked use and we did them no wrong, they have now paid for the mistake."

"Hurt nothing here, they attacked use and we did them no wrong, they have now paid for the mistake."
He looks around the walls
Though vast gulfs of time have passed since the artist created mosaics of Poseidon and his offspring to adorn these ancient walls, yet they still stand...
Lord Perpireen sees a bull motif reminiscent of Minoan civilization on many walls. He also sees horses, which were sacred to Poseidon, pulling chariots with spearmen or archers...

Michael Johnson 66 |

A school of angelfish swimming through the ruins catch Zagathoth's dragonblood-enhanced ear with their chattering...
In Fish: Glib glib glub glub glob glob gloo!

Atlantic Great White Dire Shark |

As the Champions are exploring the flooded temple of Poseidon, three huge megalodon sharks begin to circle the wreck of the Alanqilis, where ten frightened Spaniard sailors are staying with the ship...
The water elemental guardian long gone, the men face the monster sharks alone, using the wreck as cover as best they can against the giant predators!

Ogon Fox GM bot |

Meanwhile, unlucky Ogon Fox, victim of the cursed intelligent cape of the mountebank known as Irish Farewell, finds himself in the court of the grandson of the Shogun who put a bounty on the heads of Fox's father and all his descendents...
Stunned and astounded that he had teleported out of the frying pan and into the fire, Fox tries to think fast, turning into a common fox... but that shape is not innocuous enough in a land where shapeshifting foxes are common, and the Shogun at once is suspicious and demands that his samurai capture the little fox just in case it might be a kitsune of a certain lineage...

Kitsunedesu! Kare ga dasshutsu suru mae ni, sono yakkaina alluma o tsukamaeru!

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

Ihrin didn't wait to take a few of the potions, before moving the comb into her hair after which she begins to push the other stuff into the bag of holding.

Mwikali |

Are they speaking Aquan? I can understand Aquan
In Aquan she speaks "We shall spare you and yours. We will take your hoard for the trouble, but know if you harm another Ship from Mother Africa I shall come back and wipe you out, every last one of you1" she says as she then turns to the others.
Switching to the common shared language of her peers she looks at the others and speaks."Let us take their treasure and then move on. We have to figure out how we are gonna get topside. There might be something here to get the boats back to the surface and on our way to Europa to fight for the Pope, and then back to freeing my land from the shackles of oppression"

The beaten sahuagin readily agree to the witch's terms, and make no move to stop the adventurers from filling their bags of holding with the entirety of the fishfolks' treasure...
In Aquan: Take it all, airbreathers, and go! Just don't kill anymore of us or harm our eggs, or the curse of Dagon be on thee!

Atlantic Great White Dire Shark |

Catching one of the sailors jostled out of the scanty cover the wreck provides by his terrified fellows in its monstrous jaws, a megalodon saws the poor Spaniard in half at the waste with its thrashing dagger like teeth, flooding the water with more of the intoxicating blood that drives the giant killing machines into a primal feeding frenzy!
Smashing the Alanqilis like battering rams destroying a gate, the frenzied dire sharks are little deterred by the desperate sword thrusts and trident jabs of the terrified crewman, and a bloody slaughter ensues...
The Champions are too far away to hear the dying screams underwater of their doomed crew, or to see the expanding cloud of crimson blood flooding outward from the wreck of the Alanqilis...

Johann has no desire to kill unresisting fish men or their eggs. He slithers about in the water, eventually zooming by his friends so they can hold on, and he follows after Lord P, examining the area as he goes.

Amazing! The architecture! The pillars! An entire city down here!

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

Ihrin, grabs hold of the snake body leaning in and pressing herself down to hopefully reduce her impediment on Johanns movement. She mentally lets herself count through the weapons on her person, go over it as some sort of mantra, as she did not want to dwell on the strange feeling like she had heard or see these ruins once before.

Mwikali |

Mwikali and Kiku slip to right behind Johanns' head and holds on letting her hands grip his scaled hide as she giggles. she then leans down and whispers."This is my first time riding such a strong and powerful snake Master Johann, Thank you" She then straightens up and looks about.
"Lord P I must say this is a wonderous find, but I believe a means to ascend back to the surface would be the best course of action" She says still a bit in awe of such a powerful messenger of the spirit realms in her party and among her mounting allies and friends.

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

Lord P is looking for something,

Q: If there is only one is there a tale of its loss from the temple?

Ah... Clever Lord Perpireen...

Michael Johnson 66 |

Assuming that the party proceeds east from the sahuagin lair to the series of canal-side buildings facing the docks near the outer canal...
Lord Perpireen McGibel lights and leads the way east from the fishfolk's temple toward the next nearest cluster of intact structures lying along the inner bank of the outer grand canal...

Michael Johnson 66 |

Area 34:
The first of the barnacle-encrusted buildings, somewhat under a hundred feet long by half as wide, and some forty feet high above the sea floor, has a single dark opening on the canal side. Lord Perpireen McGibel lights and leads the way in, casting a fairy glow inside the dark interior. The barnacles and seaweed obscure the walls and floor, making it difficult to determine the original purpose of this building. The detritus covering the floor gives little clue, as time and erosion have rendered the mess unidentifiable.
The adventurers poke around, searching for more water-breathing magic or some means of salvation and deliverance from the bottom of the Atlantic, prodding the debris...

Ihrin looks about as the go.
[Dice=Perception]1d20+17
In the detritus inside the second building the heroes search, Ihrin discovers something that stands out from the rest of the debris: a fragment of what was obviously a larger object, disc-shaped perhaps, and made of an unknown black, highly reflective crystal or metal, of indeterminate size, but probably originally as big around as a wagon wheel, though this fragment is about a fifth of the original object, so it's about as cumbersome as a buckler or dinner plate. It is curiously smooth and uncovered with the barnacles and seaweed that cover everything else...
