12. Latrine: This is a latrine furnished with a central lavatory fountain that continuously flows with pure water, and features fonts that dispense drops of liquid soap! Lining the concave walls of this chamber are compartmentalized outhouses, with machines that wash and dry the posterior after ablution!
13. Bathhouse: This vaulted chamber is humid and warm. A pair of semicircular baths dominate the floor of the chamber, forming a circular pool about 3 feet deep and about 15 feet in diameter, leaving only a 5 foot outer ledge around the outer concave wall. The pools are divided by a 4-foot-high central wall, 1 foot thick, into hot and cold water baths. Steam rises from the hot water bath, which has a current temperature of 99 degrees Fahrenheit; the cold water bath is currently at a chilly 69 degrees Fahrenheit. Both baths can be adjusted to within 20 degrees Fahrenheit of their current temperatures by verbal command! Short flights of steps allow easy entry to both baths. The outer concave walls contain shallow alcoves stocked with soft white linen robes, towels, and washcloths, as well as jars of fragrant perfume oils and soaps. Four slender, feminine clockwork servants are stationed here to assist bathers...
14. Gymnasium: This spacious vaulted chamber has a curiously padded floor, ideal for gymnastics or wrestling practice. Various mechanical machines designed to train a user's strength, dexterity, and endurance are stationed here, each with a clockwork servant to "spot" the exerciser! There are nine such machines and attendant clockwork trainers, plus a pair of moving conveyor belts on tracks for running in place! The speed of these is adjustable by verbal command, as are the resistance weights of the strength training machines!

Chirurgy Chamber: The clockwork tour guide calls this the "chirurgy chamber", and describes its function as a medical center where a clockwork surgeon can perform emergency surgical procedures, as well as diagnose and treat any disease or injury of a living organism, via medicinal alchemy or other means! There are eight operating tables and four clockwork surgeons here.
16. Salon: This chamber is a salon, furnished with four seemingly seamless padded reclining chairs with sinks and fonts behind for shampooing and rinsing hair, plus four padded massage tables. Eight clockwork spa attendants are stationed here to give facials, shaves, haircuts, shampoos, hair removal, or massages!

19. Garden/Atrium: This spacious vault is redolent with fragrsnt blossoms and echoes with exotic birdsongs. A 5-foot-wide gravel pathway meanders and zigzag through an indoor garden and atrium, which also serves as an aviary for some three dozen birds of a variety of nonraptor species, mainly songbirds and parrots. The gardens, tended by three clockwork gardeners, contain a great variety of fragrant flowers, as well as a veritable apothecary of medicinal herbs.
20. Holding Cell: The adamantine door sealing this chamber does not open on command as the precious doors have. The clockwork tour guide explains that a dangerous captive is currently imprisoned inside this holding cell, and only the proper key can unlock the adamantine door to the cell.

Halfway around the world, in the Sea of Japan, a meteor plummets to the Earth, descending into the briny depths to impact with great force, causing a tidal wave and typhoons to devestate the coasts of Asia!
Worse yet, the impact awakens from centuries of slumber the mighty King of Kaiju, Gojira!
The reptilian colossus opens a giant yellow eye, enraged at being awakened, and famished from centuries of hibernation...

I cannot come to terms with this artifact and the power it represents. It is simply too great a threat to be allowed in this unsuspecting mortal world. I commend your loyalty to Ogon Fox even though it will delay the great battle that must be fought against the anti-Christ. Friendship is a great gift and you are well worthy of his.
I return at once to Rome, where I will inform the Holy Father of what is going on and seek to thwart the anti-Christ in his schemes. This is also the day the adventurers discovered a powerful artifact, The Black Pyramid of Kronos, in the Lost City of Atlantis, a vessel crafted by ancient Sumerian deities (the Anunnaki) for the purpose of voyaging through both Time and Space...
Minds still spinning from the awesome, terrible discovery of the Black Pyramid, they then discovered via divination (spirit writing initiated by Habiba Al-Sahim, received from the Asgardian deity Baldur) that Ogon Fox is in grave danger from "tyranny" in Kyoto City, imperial capital of Japan, and home of Fox's archenemy, Ashikaga Yoshinori.
Grieved as they were by this dire news, the adventurers were fatigued from the day's harrowing adventures, so they bed down for the night in the comfortable beds of the cabins within the Pyramid, quickly succumb to sleep, and dream troubling dreams and nightmares...
Johann dreams that his lost friend Fox is in a beautiful, fragrant garden, hiding in a cherry tree, while evil samurai and ninja loyal to Ashikaga Yoshinori Shogun hunt for him to cut off his head... Suddenly, a beautiful Japanese woman finds Fox and beckons to him, promising to help him hide from the Shogun's men, but it's a trap! She seduces Fox, poisoning him with venomous kisses and lulling him asleep... Then, she transforms into a horrible monster, part woman and part giant spider, and implants fertilized eggs into the Fox's body!
Johann awakens from this nightmare with a roar on the morning of Monday, 22nd January, at around 8:00...

This results not only in the destruction of the Black Pyramid of Kronos and all who are aboard it, but causes the sun to go supernova and swallow up the planets orbiting It! The solar system is destroyed in a fiery apocalypse of interplanetary scope!

Algoral dreams that she has been invited to play for the Seelie Court in the First World! Transported there by the Black Pyramid of Kronos, she finds herself on a gilded stage, about to perform for Queen Titania and King Oberon! As she starts to beat her drum, however, it begins to melt and fall apart! The noble fairies of the Seelie Court jeer and heckle her, finally booing her offstage in tears!

Habiba dreams of a past life: she is a priestess of Isis during the reign of King Cheops during the Fourth Dynasty of Egypt... The king dies, is embalmed and mummified, and entombed in the great pyramid at Giza outside of Cairo... Along with the king, many concubines and other slaves are sacrificed, embalmed, mummified, and entombed with King Cheops in the great pyramid, including the priestess that Habiba once was... In the tomb, many wondrous treasures are stored, to accompany the dead king's ka or spirit to the afterlife... Among these treasures is a fragment of the Mirror of the Multiverse!
Habiba awakens with clear memories of this past life as an Egyptian priestess, and a certainty that one of the fragments of the Mirror still lies within the Great Pyramid of Cheops!

Johann awakes with a start, his heart beating hard. Then he sees the note, carefully written in his mother tongue.
"Oh Cardinal." Johann sighs softly, and indeed talks to himself quietly. "I would have gone with you, but the Fox needs me. I wish you could have seen that he needs you too."
Johann picks up the items left behind and puts them in his handy haversack.
Too many friends, gone and departed. But if you are in Rome, Cardinal, then I will see you again. Protect her for me until I can meet you there.
Naked and sweating Mwikali sits up and stares at Kiku.'Great Beasts destroying the world!Such horrible dreams." She says as she then gets up and sits down and begins to meditate. She didn't need to commune yet but she really wanted to connect with the spirits.
Zagathoth emerges from his cabin partially covered in a white silk sheet. The promise of epic combat with which his dream ended had done nothing to diminish the growing desire most of the dream had aroused.
The orc heads hastily to the witch's chamber and begins to pound on the door. "Dark woman," he calls out, "do you want to make sex? I have not made sex since our boat sunk and I need to..."
She looked at you and laughed. She gets up naked and slaps her hands on your shoulders. She feels your muscles and then shakes her head.'Very tempting Zag, Very Very Tempting." She runs her hands over the orc's arms and blushes.
"I may regret this but yes" She says walking over and flipping the sheet off the bed.
Zagathoth grins a big toothy smile and drops his sheet as he rushes into the witch's chamber. He spends the next couple hours demonstrating everything he has learned about making sex from his woman in Rome and the harem in Marrakesh.
Habiba snaps awake.
I do not often have the dreams of a cycle's end. What would bring such a vision on now? she wonders to herself, shivering slightly at the memory of death slowly creeping over her.
I find myself torn. The Mirror is such a powerful artifact, and sure to aid in our quest, but the thought of raiding a Pharaoh's grave goods sits ill with me. Perhaps I should research magics to directly commune with the soul of the dead, so as to ask permission?
Ihrin wakes her body covered in sweat. She breathes noting this was her dream nothing more. She had experienced worse dreams, dreams of a different woman being raped, brutalized and murder. Or a woman slain by her own brother. These almost felt real. This last one had a similar thread of truth but nothing that spoke to the actual full body experience. So the woman slipped out of bed wearing a comfortably oversized shirt she had found and breathed.
After she calmed her nerves a bit more she put on pants and one of her shirts before leaving to find a place to exercise. Once she does she began with stretches and bends until after about a half hour she began to t ik Male and flip, twist and turn working her muscles and movements like an experienced gymnast. After an hour she returned to her room, exhausted and laid down drifting back to sleep for a quick nap.

"ZAG! EVERYONE! We have a problem! The Cardinal left; look, he left us a note and..." Johann wanders from room to room rousing the heroes and pushes the Mwikali's bedroom door open. "The Cardinal left and....OH MY GODS BY ALL THAT IS HOLY AND PURE. MY EYES!"
Johann staggers back, having just gotten a full in-color image of Zag's butt dancing about the sheets.
Zagathoth wraps one thick, muscley arm around the witch’s waist and leaps to his feet (hoisting her into the air in the process). Without ceasing from the activity that seems to have surprised Bear, he spins to face his friend and exclaims, ”The Padre leaved?!? Where did he go?”
Habiba rouses, finishes dressing, and runs to the door as Johann's pronouncement begins.
The Cardinal left? I knew we'd had disagreement, but I'd not thought he'd abandon his mission so easily. Though perhaps he has good reason, I should ask- she manages to think, before the next exclamation reaches her ears, door halfway through twisting the knob.
At that, she releases the knob as though it burns, and moves back to her bed to sit.
Whatever it is...for once believe I don't want to know.
Roused by his dream, the Rabbi teleports to the helm to make sure everything is secure. When he finds the Cardinal looking for a way out he sighs. Placing a hand on his Gentile counterpart’s shoulder he says, ”I’m sorry, Lucius, that we couldn’t come to some understanding, but if you wish to leave I will not stop you. Return to Rome and make preparations. We shall arrive before the attack to aid in the fight against Nero and his minions.”
Ihrin makes her way towards the commotion. Hearing the good father leave was disheartening but the show she managed to peep made her snicker and slap Johanns shoulder.
" Come Johann let us learn more about this Place your friend is at. Maybe we can devise a way to free him." she says leading the Bear Shifter away before she looks over her shoulder and gives the two a hearty wink.
Mwikali sinks her claws into Zag and wraps her self about his frame. She speaks a little breathy." Too bad, I was warming up to the man"
Kiki takes the opportunity to fly out of the room and follow the others not wishing to view his mistress in such an embrace.

I am also sorry we could not come to agreement on the grave danger this Pyramid presents... I cannot but believe that the Enemy has placed this thing in our midst to tempt and destroy us! But you and the others feel differently, so it is I who must take my leave... Know that I will always count you and the other Champions as dear friends, even if I am compelled by the greater good to oppose you in your use of this dangerous artifact of the pagan past... Be well, Rabbi, and do your best to guide the others with wisdom and wit. I can fly on my carpet to Rome, no need to transport me there with this... thing... Just kindly teleport me outside, if you would. Farewell, my friend.
Cardinal Lucius embraces the Rabbi and then produces his carpet of flying and mounts it. Alexei teleports the cardinal outside, and he flies off toward Rome...

Traumatized, Johann lets Ihrin leads him away to the library, where Johann picks up the book on Japanese architecture again. But the mental image isn't going away. The mental image of Mwikali isn't bad... quite nice actually... but Zag's butt keep dancing in Johann's imagination.
I just need to swat at something for a while.
