As a sahuagin attempts to swim in close enough to stab the deadly serpent with its trident, Cobra Johann lashes out First AoO and strikes it lifeless!

A second shark comes within Cobra Johann's superior reach, and he strikes again, rendering this one lifeless and belly up as well second AoO...

A second sahuagin gets too close, and *SNAP!!* the jaws of Cobra Johann decapitate the sea devil in one bite third AoO!

ROUND 1:

Fox takes in the situation and ponders briefly...

Hmmm... Should I try my mystic bolts underwater? What if I electrocute us all!? Better try a different tactic...

Thinking better of using his favorite electricity bolts in the water, Fox instead casts grease on one of the approaching sahuagin's tridents, hoping to make the sea devil fumble the slippery weapon...

Reflex save vs DC 13 grease on weapon 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21 succeeds...

In spite of Fox's grease spell lubricating the trident, the sahuagin keeps a firm grip on the weapon...

Crabpincer is a +1 short sword that bestows upon its wielder the same benefits as a necklace of adaptation and the ability to move through saltwater or freshwater as if affected by freedom of movement. Market price 31,000 gp.

--------On the trip to the price-----------

As they make there way back from Africa, Lord P spends a lot of time with Algoral. His Fey companion, his suspicions and been put to rest and now the pear of them where as thick as thieves. Often seen talking to each other in privet and in a language unknown to most mortals.

Then the day before they meet the Price.

"Well Algoral, soon we are to meet Prince Henry of Portugal. I think we should give you a more formal role for our king. Your wondering days are over my friends . I appoint your Herod to the court of the never ending dance. A role I think your musical skills will aid you with. So when we meet anyone of note, please introduce us."

----------Meeting the price----------

Then as they meet the prince, the 1' fey waits as he is introduced.

Prince Henry of Portugal wrote:

Turning to Lord Perpireen, Prince Henry bows and grins at the little sprite.

Thank you, Lord Perpireen McGibel of the Seelie Court, for your brave service in the field with the wily Desert Jackals! I eagerly await a full account of your adventures, once time and circumstances permit, of course... Perhaps your musical kinsman Algoral can facilitate a concise telling of the tale for my court some day?

Lord Perpireen McGibel bowed at the Prince and then said

"My Herod my lord was indeed late to the fight your highness, but never the less did his part. As for telling you our adventures, I would be more than willing to. I will tell you of the undead tombs and the desert lizard men whom now work in your service."

He chuckled.

"But to other matters my lord Prince, My king, the master of the fey lands and King under the Hill, sends his greetings great prince. He has communications that would best be delivered in privet counsel. Say once this fine event has ended."

As the boat starts to sink Lord P is there again, grabs the potions downing one and placing the others in one of his magic pouches.

As he sees the city below.

"I wounder of that shops still there?"

Having taken a liking to the Irish Farewell cape of the mountebank while donning it as a raincoat during the past two stormy days at sea, Ogon Fox happens to be wearing the magic cloak, and gets a sudden idea...

I know! I'll use the Irish Farewell to surprise these fish-men! I'll just dimension door to the other side of their phalanx and flank with Johann...

*BAMF!!*?

Fox activates the cursed cape of the mountebank, awakening its evil intelligence and its curse! For the first time it is activated by a new wearer, instead of letting the user dimension door as usual, it teleports the wearer to the worst possible place at the worst possible time!

The unwitting Ogon Fox is teleported far from here, to the worst place he could possibly be--In the court of the Shogun who seeks the Fox's head--at the worst possible time--while the Shogun is fully armed and armored, is present in the court, and is accompanied by his deadly samurai bodyguards!

Algoral doesn’t blame the Fox for teleporting away, presumably to some where dryer.
