Does Spell Resistance apply?
SR doesn't apply, but Mwikali resists the commune with Moloch effect...
About half an hour after her first sip of the toad milk, the toxin begins to affect Mwikali's perception...
The true nature of time and space become apparent to her in ways indescribable... She tastes colors and sounds, sees fantastic visions, etc.

The Ogon Fox |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Swayed by Mama Gangoola's words, the Fox agrees to a drink of the toad milk.
Will Save DC 17: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23
Though his senses become overwhelmed with new sensations, he also resists the dark influence.

Big Mama Gangoola |

Big Mama watches in anticipation, but when Fox also resists diabolic communion with Moloch, she scowls a fierce scowl of disappointment and frustration.
Stubborn wills ye have, I ken... oh well... As promised, now I will tell thee of the Mines of King Solomon, and how ye may find them...
The night hag tells of three great idols that overlook the entrance to the Mines. She relays the approximate distance and direction the expedition must head. Finally, she offers to guide them there personally...

Michael Johnson 66 |

The Tooth Fairy plays a trick on Johann and Perpireen as they are having an intense argument over which tastes better: lollipops or honeydew.
Sensing an effigy made with love by a tatterdemallion witch that suited his purpose, he casts a unique spell that causes Johann and his sewn and woven effigy to trade places in Time and Space!
To Lord Perpireen's astonished dismay, his buddy Johann has just turned into a stuffed teddybear!
To Johann's astonished dismay, he has suddenly been plunged from an argument over whether a honeydew lollipop was as tasty as an actual honeydew, into an expedition to King Solomon's Mines!

Michael Johnson 66 |

Big Mama Gangoola, King Kang, and the Kukuanas turn out to be treacherous, leading the expedition through several dangers before the adventurers wised up. The giant constrictor in the swamp... The shapeshifting thunderbird whose nest they "accidentally" found... The monstrous, crocodillian dinosaur they fought by the waterfall...
Once Johann the Bear bursts out of Mwikali's ruptured backpack, and in a confusion that made him question his sanity, figured enough out about what had happened to him to spur him to action! Ripping and roaring through the mob of Voodoo slaves that accompanied the night hag and the king of Kukuanaland, the berserker Bear and his buddy Fox finally get to the two villains, defeating them in daring duels.

Michael Johnson 66 |

Having defeated the demon-worshipping Kukuanas, their mad king, and the hateful night hag Big Mama, the expedition then discovers three great idols of ancient, weathered stone, monuments to the heathen deities and devils worshipped by King Solomon's many foreign wives. Westernmost towers an idol of Astarte, goddess of the Sidonians. In the middle stands Moloch, disgusting Archdevil of the Ammonites, leering fiercely. To the east stands Chemosh, loathsome Archdevil of Moab...
A vast, yawning pit, 120 feet in diameter, gapes before the three great idols. This is the entrance to King Solomon's Mines!
A broad, rough-hewn stairway, some twenty feet wide, spirals down the inner walls of the pit, descending into unfathomable darkness..

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

As Johann the Bear has gone, Lord P grabs the Stuffed Teddy and enters the bright ways.. In the lands of dream he called in a ` form the lord of dreams and gets transported to the mines just at the moment johann the Bear dose.
"So here you are"

"MY LITTLE FAIRY FRIEND P! I SWEAR TO YOU, THIS IS AS CONFUSING TO ME AS TO YOU. THE HONEYDEW LOLLIPOP MUST HAVE BEEN ENCHANTED...ONE MOMENT, AND POOF! HERE I AM, BACK WITH OUR OLD FRIENDS. STILL...ahm.
Johann remembers to lower his voice. So much time spent at home had him falling into bad habits. You can all see he looks much the same, though maybe twenty pounds heavier.
"Still, I am glad. It is good to see Foxy, and all of you again. The Black Forest was good to me. Lord P and I managed to rescue Rapunzel from the Big Bad Wolf and have brought some order back to that part of Germania. I...ahem... maybe, perhaps, sort of married her. Rapunzel is quite the cook, especially with plentiful gingerbread supply. We moved into the old witches' house, you see, after I threw her into her own oven. The old hag. Serves her right after what she did to Hansel and Gretel."

The Ogon Fox |

"You're back!" the Fox shouts in wide-eyed surprise. "Oh, it is good to see you again. It's been a long walk in the desert to get here, my friend. Not nice and cool like your Enchanted Forest. Imagine that, that you would find a way to avoid all the walking in the hot sand..."

![]() |

"Hot sand? Kill me now, Fox. If we have to walk out of here, I think I will die of a heat stroke. This body of mine is not built for warm climates. Though perhaps my snake body is..."

![]() |

Johann turns to his cobra form and slithers in between legs and around bodies, hissing a greeting to all of his old friends.

Mwikali |

"And Now I am short one backpack!" She says slightly perturbed about the ordeal. She smiles then chuckles as she continues on stuffing her stuff into her bag of holding.
"I am happy to have you back Bear! Your fellow Europeans are far too stuffy for my taste" She says walking about with her enchanted spear in her hand. It was a powerful tool and could have been better in a warriors hand but instead, it was hers and hers alone to aid in her conquering the motherland from those who wished to enslave and rape her and her people.

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

Ihrin smiles at the reappearance of Johann and greets him.
"Grüße Johann, ich freue mich, dich wieder zu haben. Ich hoffe, Sie sind glücklich, zurück zu sein." Ihrin greeted as she smiled and gave the bear man a bit of a hug before he turned into a snake and she nodded to the slithering snake as she took point looking for danger and traps.

As you stand at the edge of the yawning pit, looking down into the darkness, and marveling at the tricky ways of Fortune that have reunited Little Lord Perpireen, Johann the Bear, Ogon Fox, Ihrin Dracula, Mwikali, and Alphonse Veritas and secreted away others, you notice a broad spiral stair, some twenty feet wide, descending from the east edge of the pit into the black gulf below.

As it becomes difficult to miss the lumbering statue, Johann pokes his head up in an alert pose.

Mwikali |

"Lord P see what it wants?" She says looking at the tiny fey hoping its size will maybe aid him against such a Gargantuan creature

Idol of Astarte stone golem |

Zips over to it looking down out of reach he asks it
"Hello what do you want?"
An ancient spell cast thousands of years ago makes the animated idol appear to speak to the little fey Lord buzzing over its head...
This is King Solomon's Mines. You're not King Solomon, so move along!

Alphonse Veritas, Oathkeeper |

Alphonse is quite confused by Johann's appearance.
Actually...has Alphonse even ever met Johann?
"Surely you could allow others to enter?" Alphonse asks, frowning.
"Just because the man owned these mines does not mean they should be barred to all entrants for all time. Eventually someone will need to come along and stake a new claim."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (14) + 18 = 32

Abe no Toshiro |

After all the hubbub with Mama Gangoola, Toshiro bids his farewell to his allies.
"I must return home. I had not expected this journey to take us so far afield, and now that the dragon has been defeated, I do not think I am needed as much with you as I am rebuilding Japan."
"Do not hesitate to call on me if you are ever in need again. Until we meet again, my friends." he says, and after a rest to commune with the spirits, teleports off on a multi-step journey home.
I relinquish Toshiro to Mike as an NPC.

Ihrin Ardlean Dracul |

"Lord P see if you can use diplomacy!" She says from the ground hoping he can hear as she stops and looks about.

Damn! Nice Diplomacy check, Alphonse... Too bad niceties are lost on this construct...
The golem seems oblivious to the paladin's entreaty... It continues to swat ineefectually at Lord Perpireen (who remains just out of reach) and stomp closer to the others...

Mwikali activates her Ring and her Fly hex to rise into the air.

Lord Perpireen McGibel |

"It has only a paper scrip for a mind, so this one will not be swayed by words. A large hammer is whats needed"
She jokes playing with the thing. There is not a lot a small fey can do to beat such a thing that faced them now.

Alphonse is at the end of that order; he rolled a 4 above.
Alphonse moves in, resigned to the fact that everyone in his new group is far swifter than he.
