A raspy male voice comes out of the hyena that Agrammar attacks and misses and says, "Dwarf, I cannot wait to be feasting on your sweet breads this evening. Roaaaaarrrrrrrrr!"

”My sweet what..?” - the dwarf begins growling - ”Wait.... They’re talkin’ - he shouts at the others, then turns on the hyena with a snarl - ”Ye’re talkin’

Nura swings at the nearest hyena to her.

Not an error on the damage. My earlier posts were wrong. I forgot that scimitars do a d8 in 2E.

Nura fills in to attack the one on Fadilah but her attack is dodged by the hyena.

A female voice comes from the on about to attack Fadilah and she says, "Maaz, this dwarf ain't very clever now is he."

The one on Fadilah mocks Agrammar and does a good impression of him by saying, ”My sweet what..?” - and it begins growling - ”Wait.... They’re talkin’" - he shouts at the others, then turns back towards Agrammar and says ”I’re talkin’ And just before his attack he says, "By the by, I was referring to your liver."

Agrammar hits with his attack, Nymeria hits with one but misses the other and Zairiah misses.

The hyena on Nura says, "How about this one?" and continues in a woman's voice the same as last night "Help Me!!!! "

Fadilah holds her staff in a defensive position.

Agrammar, Zairiah and Nura miss while Nymeria is able to hit her hyena with one of her shots. The hyena she is fighting looks really bad.

"Thank you," says Fadilah to her little companion, but she wastes no time in unleashing the spell immediately at the hyena attacking Agrammar.

Aggrammar is barely standing, but his defiance keeps him up on his feet - taking a step back, he heals himself.

Or no step back if there are no AoOs for casting in combat - cannot fully remember :P

It is a straight roll where for proficiencies. Normally it would be 16 or lower for you but in this case it is 13 or lower. But you put two ranks in healing, I think. Either way you are successful

The combination of attacks on the hyena on Nura brings about its demise.

The hyena on Agrammar polymorphs into a very handsome man missing his right eye and a thick brown beard and says, "Spare my life and I will give you some valuable information regarding Ynaldin the Dao."

COmbat Over

The information would be welcome, and we are more than willing to spare your life, but what we really require is that you stop preying on humans. Otherwise we, or someone else, will be back to finish you off. That's non-negotiable.

He says, "My pack is decimated so I will just leave and find another but I will try my best not to eat humans. Ynadin tasked us with protecting this valley from anyone who would try to help Mahara until he found the answer to the hermit's riddle. He should return tomorrow around midday. He takes another look at the hyena man - "So when ye say 'he tasked us', ye mean he is forcing ye to do this. What kept ye and yer pack from simply runnin' away from this place?

He says, "Yes he was." He points at the dead male hyena not the dead female one.

and continues, "Batul, became what the sorcerers call a "familiar" whatever the hell that means and well they had a telepathic bond as he said, sounds like camel manure if you ask me but the Loregiver giveths and takeths away. I am not too choked up about Batul but my wife is dead. Ynadin will probably assume I am dead as well. Is there anything else you would like to know?"

Nymeria blinks. ...wasn't that the riddle I helped him solve?

Zairiah looks around to make sure no one had any other questions and then, if not, she says

No, you are free to go, and luck to you as long as you keep your word to not prey on humans.

Nura raises an eyebrow at the conversation but has no questions.

Maaz, the hyena man turns back into a hyena and runs off down the path quickly.
