Grav, if you remove an attack for that reason, please delete it. I used the d20 from that roll instead on the next attack.
The creature reels from the destruction raining down on it, and tries to step back slightly to shoot. However, this is just another opportunity for more damage to slam into him, and he falls over, slain.
Defeating Jodain releases the Starfinders from the virtual world. Shortly after, they wake up inside their the stasis chambers. All of the trapped Starfinders you talked to aree xtremely grateful for your assistance. Historia-6 quickly disconnects from the pod and hurries to reconnect with
Historia-7 and the greater Starfinder fleet.
As the rejoicing begins, one of the Starfinder data technicians shouts an alarm. (What do you want to do for two prep rounds? I'll get a map up in just a minute.)

"FOR SCIENCE!"
There's almost no discernible change.

"Whats wrong? Are we being invaded by Jinsul, or did that program follow us back and merge the stasis tanks into a giant transforming robot? "

Tolar has his Thunderstrike in 2 hands, sword in a 3rd, and a grenade in a 4th.

After hearing the techie's alert, he casts Haste on the members of the crew, and is prepared to cast Hold Person when a target runs though the door.

OK, the enemies are on the map. Those of you who have only taken one round of prep can take one more, and know the general direction of the enemy. You do not know their exact position, so you cannot attack them until after initiative is rolled.
Since we are already paused while waiting for you to post about something else, you may each also roll your own initiative.

Chk Chk is returned by the Shirren tech, having carefully observed everything that just happened.
You report to Fitch for your next mission.
Fitch waits in the hangar bay. "We’re in a bit of a hurry, and I only have a few minutes before my children realize I’ve snuck away! Our agents recovered a beacon with important data about a Starfinder outpost on Agillae-1. Not long ago, our ships started receiving emergency signals from that planet, and all the messages basically say 'we’re under attack.' It’s some kind of carnivorous creatures native to the planet, but that’s all we know. Your ship is ready—so please grab your weapons and hurry. And good luck!"
Fitch points out a suitable landing spot for your landing craft not far from the outpost. You are able to land there with no problem. When you approach the outpost on foot, you see many strange plant creatures fighting a smaller number of Starfinders in the distance.
The squares with lava in them are difficult terrain, and you will take damage if you enter them.
