But we have until September, I think. Is this for the second session?
Personally, I like 5 players the best, but I feel guilty limiting it to 5 because of the demand.
You can't play a classic and core character in the same session, right? Otherwise I would want to signup with a classic character in another session too.

I think you are right about the restriction.
I also like the 5 player setup, but a 6th player might add some needed resources...

post about being in both core and classic table of Solstice Scar C
At GM Auke's request, I've added your table to the special, with enough information to hold your places. Can you guys please fill in the rest of the information for your table? Here is a link to the spreadsheet for your convenience.

Done.

Faerie fire would probably help.
Does she provoke when tossing a bomb? Its just that with Mao's new location she should have provoked. But if Mao's location had been updated she probably would have 5' stepped back to avoid the AoO.

*whew*
I was really worried about choosing between a MM and healing Aurus. On the one hand the MM might have made the difference in taking her down. On the other hand, if Cloudia was taken down before she could heal him, he almost certainly would have died.
That color spray was the right thing at the right time.
again, *whew*
Why oh why do we keep getting in these types of situations!?

Thanks for the life-saving botting techniques - had a family wedding this weekend, though I think the forums ate a post cuz I swear I posted one on Saturday.
Aurus can volunteer his wand - how many charges off to heal people up?

Not by her, right? But someone else could?
Try Again
Yes, but if you ever roll a natural 1 while attempting to activate an item and you fail, then you can’t try to activate that item again for 24 hours.
I've had this discussion with a long time GM of mine. He convinced me the rules are ambiguous and should be read like:
Try Again
Yes, but if you ever roll a natural 1 while attempting to activate an item and you fail, then the item can't be activated again for 24 hours.
"If you break the axle of your car you have to replace it before you can drive again." doesn't mean someone else could still drive it. ;-)

I would not agree, but I can certainly see that the 'you' in the sentence could be interpreted either way leaving it up to the individual GM. Personally I would think that if they meant it that way they would have written it the way you wrote the RAI, but that would make the foolish assumption that they would have thought of it. I wonder if there has been a society ruling on it. Not that I care enough to try to dig it out.

My friend is coming in from Pittsburgh on Sunday and will be here for a week. I will try to post when/if I can.

I've lost access to the game on roll20.

Just want to make sure that it's clear and stated - the thoughts posited by Aurus are simply for role-playing and not meant to start any player drama. :)

Hey Auke,
Saw that someone got themselves inducted into the Order of the Wayfinder! Many congratulations!

I am reading through the playtest materials now. Very interesting. I like what I am seeing so far.

So my advice would be for everyone to get a 2 PP purchase this game (as there's a limit of 1 purchase per adventure and you'll need to get as much stuff as possible for the special.)
Some suggestions:
Scroll with 2 castings of Haste (Haste will win a combat at tier 3-4)
Scroll with 5 castings of Lesser Restoration
Wand of Magic Missile (Lukian, you've seen how effective this can be!)
Wand of Cure Light Wounds (Every party member should have one, so the (out of combat) healing can be shared by everyone)
Wand of Grease (DC is low, but it's a +10 vs Grapples and it can prevent charges)

No day job for Aurus. ☺️
Thank you for running this one! It had been high on my to-do list for a while - glad to get another Blakros scenario on my resume!

I would not mind a core run and it would be just enough to get her to level 3.

Cool! I think I read through Silent Tide once one time when I thought I was GMing it but I've never played it.

Mao's up for it. He will be my FIRST level 3 character in PFS Core.

Did I miss the chronicle sheet? I'll need the cash payout and XP/prestige at the very least to do the update.

Also, can I have Dayjob rolls or Opt outs? :-)
GP:507 (Except for level 3 Aurus, who gets 1,183.5)
PP:2XP:1
Bracers of armor +1 (1,000 gp)
Cloak of resistance +1 (1,000 gp)
Potion of cure moderate wounds (300 gp)
Wand of endure elements (CL 1, 28 charges; 420 gp)

Day job roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
She will buy the Cloak of resistance, +1
She will buy the Wand of endure elements (CL 1, 28 charges; 420 gp)
and get a Scroll with 5 castings of Lesser Restoration for 2PP
