Full defence as he eyes the spider, using his one hand to tell the rest to hold
Easy there, we only want to pass by, we mean you no harm

The "speed run gives" you a bonus, and you take a minute of talking and moving slowly, trying to make the spider back up. You succeed, and it moves back and up into its web. Moving through the area you find two more dissected kobolds.
Sutekh feel the venom cursing through his veins, taking 1d2 ⇒ 2 STR damage.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 > 1d2 ⇒ 1
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
So you took 3 STR damage total.
You move through the web area and find yourself in the beginning of the dungeon. You may go back or get in the rooms you did not visit yet. You remember that the trade agreements the prince requested were still not found.

They are only kobold corpsssesss but we ssshould sssearch them while Sssutekh keepsss the ssspider busssy.
Cast guidance on myself then search.

Let usss firssst check the two doorsss we have not opened. The we can ussse the magic we found to read any of the writingsss.
Sorry I didn't look at the maps closely enough. I missed the doors at 13,M and 20,O. Thought we had explored it all.
Probably won't hear anything with the noise we have been making, but can't hurt to check. Selter listens at the door they are currently standing next to.

Sutekh also keeps his eyes open, his strength drained from the spider, it's all he can do.

Selter motions for the others to wait a moment and uses some magic on his club then on Sithiss.
Boží klub!
Skus s elánom!
Shillelagh on club and guidance on Sithiss.
Then he indicates he and Sithiss are ready.
Sutekh, since you are drained do you want to open the door and stand to the side so we can rush in?
Sutekh Amun |
Will do. Be my guest to go in *bow*

From an adjacent room, you see a creature coming. It trembles and twitches as it stands and lurches forward. His skin is patchy and dry, like a squid left out in the sun and sand. His bulbous eyes open, and light stabs out from them.

No one is surprised. Everyone in the room make a Fortitude save DC 13 or be blinded for 1 hour. Those who are not inside may avert their eyes when entering (if they have any idea of what is going on). Everyone BUT Kaddok may act before the creature. GO!

Kent's blow divides the poor monster in two, spilling blood on the nearby passers. Combat over, sorry Kaddok.
Sitting on the rotting shelves in this room are a number of moldering trade agreements. A dozen of them are of the type the PCs are searching for. All are written in Kelish, and detail pacts that Satrap Taliq Asad
made with pirates, mercenary groups (for the protection of caravans), petty lords, and even a few nations scattered about the Inner Sea region. One agreement contains a personal note addressed to the Satrap, congratulating him on gaining the Li family’s jade katana and the promise it contains.
You move into the next chamber, where a wall have fallen between the two rooms. This large room looks like it was once a scribing chamber.
The remains of many desks are scattered about, and amid the rubble is a number of long-dried inkwells, other writing utensils, and scraps of paper. These things are covered with black mold and patches of light green mushrooms. You also find one trade agreement, three flasks of holy water, and a potion of cure moderate wounds.
You proceed to the only room you have been to yet. The door to this chamber is stuck. No one hears nothing listening through the door. You force it open and dust and spores get raised in the air. Rubbish and black mold choke the far end of the chamber. Three creatures awaken from their deep slumber and come at you.
Everyone, GO!

Zarunkumar puts her hand on Sutekh's shoulder and he more confident in himself. Cast guidance and maybe if Selter does the same we can do something to help him make this check. "Why don't you give it one more try?"

Kaddok retaliates against the creature that wounded him, pounding it into ichor.

Sutekh - if you're firing a ranged weapon at one of the beetles, you're going to be at -4 for soft cover (anyone between you and the beetle), -4 for firing into melee
Selter Sago de'Morcaine PFS |

It was actually aiming at Sithis ^_^ ...
Oops. Yeah that hits her. I will mark her HP down by 4. Don't think I will use a CLW charge just now since I'm guessing we are about done with the fighting.
Friend Zarunkumar, I suggest you use the magical writing we found so you can check the various writings. So we can determine their relative worth.

First read magic (OR detect magic and spellcraft) to find what it is a scroll of. Already did that. Since it is a spell on you list of allowed spells and your level and casting stat are sufficient to cast it, you just read it. If your level or casting stat where not high enough you could make a caster level check. If it was not on your allowed spells list you would have to UMD it.

In the room you find a small sack containing 200 silver pieces and a set of bronze bracers of armor +1, buried amid the rubble.
So, now, Absalom?
The only magic scroll you find is the Comprehend Languages one. The others are mundane. IF the spell is available for witches (you don't even need to have it) you may use the scroll without problem. Otherwise you will have to roll for Use Magic Device (DC 20).

One agreement contains a personal note addressed to the Satrap, congratulating him on gaining the Li family’s jade katana and the promise it contains.
That cover the agreements in Kelish, as Kent have translated for you. There's only one left, written in Tian and found at the prison. It is a letter of introduction. The letter’s paper is brittle and browned with age. Its broken seal features a kirin flying amid three clouds. The letter introduces the ambassador as Xeng Li, and describes the gift to Taliq Asad—a jade katana, a representation of the Li family’s honor and its ties to House Asad.
