After burning the body you head on up the stairs and reach a landing. This cylindrical room is empty, but is so tall as to have no apparent ceiling. About 120 feet up you can see another landing but there seems no obvious way to get there.


I guess we will need to fly. Anyone have some Crimson Cow drink? I hear it allows you to fly.

You fly up the shaft, when you are about halfway up the gravity suddenly reverses and you find yourselves falling upwards. Thanks to the spell you are able to control the fall and land safely.

A few bedrolls, a handful of spilled grain, and the ashen stain of a long dead fire occupy the centre of this nearly triangular room. At one of the three vertices, a hole in the wall opens to the outdoors, well above the ground below.

In a burst of healing power Atajay damages the haunt.

As the haunt starts to fully manifests you can see a dozen of Lowls' hirelings gathered around a fire. Suddenly one falls over and convulses as fungal tendrils emerge from his eyes. The others reach for weapons and begin striking their fallen comrade before heaving his corpse into the fire.

Penith slams to the floor and picks herself up as Senn heals them all. "Is it invisible?" Penith asks as she looks around for anything that might tell what just hit them.

Moving on you find a path leading upwards in a twisting fashion. Ropey strands of sickly fungus stretch across this rough hewn chamber's walls. Vine-like growths hang down from the ceiling, some ascending through a ten foot wide aperture more than forty feet above.
