Careful examination of the room reveals that the table is covered with mounds of dirt and twigs and the occasional stone. There is also a small ivory statue/idol (250gp) of a crouching reptilian devil that holds down a piece of paper. A burlap bag is also present and contains 50gp and 250sp and 10 short spears.

paper translation if you read undercommon:
THEM: magic dust, coin, ring. US: kobold statue, spears, coin.

DC 14 knowledge geography:
the dirt, twigs, and stone on the table is a crude map, you recognize your current location and you also recognize another stronghold represented in F5

If no one speaks undercommon (Kentaur?) Milo will cast comprehend languages out of his ring to read the paper.

K-geography: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19

The material on the table appears to be some type of crude map depicting the area South of here. There may be some type of dwelling there, of what I can only guess. Maybe kobolds based on the prisoners we found earlier? We should finish clearing this warren of mites and then head to the surface. Gods knows I could use a rest.

I'm sure my spell or Milo's craft can fix your bow when next we camp Quinray. The question is does that rest happen now or later?

I say we finish what we can here and then head up to the surface. I can't imagine there is much resistance left in these tunnels.

Provided of course that the remaining inhabitants don't continue to use me for target practice. I'm going to imagine myself as a very small thin tree for the rest of the day. A peaceful, non-violence inciting tree. Let's go.

Since no one said they read Undercommon Tirnel burns the spell from his ring to read the mite note.

Reading to the group-it reads-"THEM: magic dust, coin, ring. US: kobold statue, spears, coin." Not sure but it appears to be maybe some type of scorecard? Again, I'm guessing against kobolds given the prisoners and now the statue. We should hold on to the statue for a while, it may give us some leverage over the little draconian bastards.
Let's get a good rest and then we can head South tomorrow to explore the area and see if we spy anything worthwhile.

Headed to F5-the area depicted on the table map.

The party heads south out of hills onto lower ground consisting of grassy plains and forest.

A couple of hours into your journey in one of the densely wooded areas you stumble upon a giant elklike creature only a few feet away. It stands nearly 9 feet tall and must easily weigh over 1200 pounds. Its antlers are massive and dangerous looking.
