Tirnel sags to the floor, trying not to pass out. A faint chuckle escapes his lips and he whispers at Kentaur and Ibrbam's battle cries-Would that your skill at arms matched your talented tongues! Please gods of the underground, no more centipedes!
Kentaur and company burst into an egg shaped cavern that is somewhat obscured by long tangles of roots along the walls and hanging from the ceiling. A group of six mites is torturing a kobold that is tied into the roots along the wall to your immediate right. Three other kobolds already hang limply in their bonds, dead or unconscious.

You follow the narrow and low tunnel for a few hundred feet and it curves continually to your left as it corkscrews downward into the earth. It finally opens into another low cavern with roots hanging from the ceiling and walls. On the far side of the cavern is another exit, in the middle of the cavern is a 10 foot wide chasm that is about 30 feet deep. Looks like it would be relatively easy to climb down and back up the other side of the chasm or to use the roots on the ceiling to climb across without having to enter the chasm, some of the roots even have been tied into loops to make them even easier to grasp.
