Simon/Ravens: As you both reach the point, that I have you on the map. The hallway shifts noticeably and a loud grinding noise comes from back down the hallway.

I need immediate reactions from Simon/Ravens

Acrobatics to get back to the safe zone before whatever trap is about to go off. I assume either rocks fall from the ceiling or the floor gives way.

Skiron rides through the mouth of the passage astride his nightmare hound, which moves through the air as though it were walking along ground.

Ravens moves back, away from the rumbling.

I Eat Cannibals

On the map, you will notice a dark block 10' wide, 30' down the hallway. This is a solid block of stone that is sliding across the passageway.

EDIT: I believe I have the background music set

I assume it's closing off the hallway and not moving back toward the main group. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

"Ravens, This way!"

You are correct Simon

Thanks. That was less clear.

Ravens moves back, away from the rumbling, and out of the tomb.

Hey folks, I apologize for today. I could not get on the paizo site

Ravens: Guess what, after probing around you find an area that looks promising and you are able to find another possible entrance.

Simon: That wall has a hardness of 8 and 1800 HP, you may be there awhile.

I will update the map shortly

Ravens shouts to the others.

"Another entrance, here!" Ravens snorts, wondering if he should find another before even testing this one.

Who resets these traps? Maybe we should lie in ambush to kill them after we set them all off.

Ravens watches the boulder dropping with interest, standing back and keeping watch.

Watch for falling rocks. There should be a sign here that says that.

I Eat Cannibals

Light from the entrance shows that this tunnel is extremely long and heavily decorated in a riot of bright colors and patterns. The walls and ceilings have been coated with plaster and painted with a variety of unusual scenes featuring strange rooms, odd creatures and exotic locations. The floor is decorated with mosaic tilework which features an obvious "path" of bright red tiles that wind across the ground. Not a hint of the original stonework is visible under the heavy decoration.

The roof here is 20' tall and the small path of red tiles is about 2' wide

Skiron the walls are covered in odd sigils hieroglyphics and abstract patterns as well as several distinct scenes,

cows grazing in a field

wolves stalking through a forest

Slaves human, elf, orc. And beastman hybrids working at various tasks

a book filledlitbrary chamber

a torture chamber full of tools of torture and Evo including a large cell door with the hands of some ferocious beast gripping the bars

A wizards workroom with wolf headed men in robes

Skiron. these are obviously the scribblings of a madmanthey make no sense whatsoever

Simon. the incredible detail of the paintings hid something from casual observation that now seems obvious a pair of robed wolf headed figures are painted on the wall holding an elaborate bronze chest between themselves however the chest is no painting but an actual metal box embedded in the plaster extending only a few inches from the surface

Male Human (Varisian)

Ravens tries to read the message in the tiles. What sort of check to figure them out?

If/when he fails to decipher them, he points them out to others.

Simon stops searching and looks closely at the wall,

"This mosaic isn't a mosaic. It's an actual small chest embedded in the wall. "

Simon examines the box closely. Specifically looking to see if there is any indications of traps. Specifically on the lid of the box that I presume it has.

Actually Ravens you can read it i have put what you can read in the campaign info section The message winds along the red tile path, there is more if you were to follow the path.

Simon: You notice that the chest is opened by a stud on top that causes the front of the chest to swing down. Also from your insane perception checks from earlier, you know that you are standing on top of a pit trap and there is is pit trap to the north of you.[ooc]If you look at the map south is the way you came in, north heads further into the tomb.

Standing clear of the pit traps and making sure his companions fob the same, Simon levitates a pebble to press the stud on top. Hopefully, opening the box. He'd like to open it from afar if he can.

Male Human (Varisian)

Ravens reads aloud what he sees. The scorn in his voice is not easily masked.

"ACERCERAK CONGRATULATES YOU ON YOUR POWERS OF OBSERVATION SO MAKE OF THIS WHATEVER YOU WISH, FOR YOU WILL BE MINE IN THE END NO MATTER WHAT!

Go back to the tormentor or through the arch, and the second great hall you'll discover. Shun green if you can, but nights good color is for those of great valor. If shades of red stand for blood the wise will not need sacrifice aught but a loop of magical metal- you're well along your march."

Ravens looks around, especially to the smart ones, to see if they have any insights.

"This place sucks. No babes at all."

I Eat Cannibals

Simon: You manage to levitate a stone over to push in the stud on top of the box. Indeed as you expected the front of the chest swings down. I moved you 10' away to the west.

"The babies are all in the mass grave down the other side of the hill, didn't you see them?"

"Anyways, if anyone has an enchanted ring, something somewhere may demand that as an entry fee - quite the premium. 'Night's good color' could be black, purple, blue...or red or purest white, in some realms...but not this one, never mind. As for 'the tormentor'..." Skiron shrugs, and with the tip of his halberd points at the mosaic(?) of the torture chamber and caged beast. "Would that be this?"

I look around the chamber with detect secret doors.

I Eat Cannibals

I have put a diagonal line across the 2 pit traps that Simon discovered.

Skiron: I have put a "T" in the box to indicate where the torture chamber is along the wall. You detect a secret door on the torture chamber mural.
