"Listen Miss Lavender, this charade has become a waste of our time as Korvosan Guard." He attempts to take her by the arm "I need you to accompany us to the location where we may inspect your wares. Otherwise, without proof of product, I am obligated to detain you for charlatanism."

Gregor motions with his eyes to Drakus and Donager that they should move to the door. He speaks to the dwarf directly, "Don't say anything to them, and don't draw your weapon, just stand in the way." Turning his intense gaze back to Vendra as he awaits her answer.

Gregor is kind of waiting to see what path she chooses. Lead them to her wares, or get arrested.

Gregor stops the woman, "I don't think so Miss. It wouldn't be a proper inspection if you were given enough warning to dispose of or hide any possible illicit activities or ingredients."

He turns to the others, "Nik'o, could you have a look at the sample brought by Marigal. Drakus and Donager, please stay to keep the customers at bay if they get rowdy. I will accompany Vendra, and will bring Pai with me as overwatch in case Miss Lavender tries anything ill-advised."

He turns back to Vendra, indicating that she lead the way, but he also maintains a gentle yet solid grip on her arm. "Please, Milady, after you."


"Gladly!" says Nik'o as she extends a hand towards Marigal: [b]"Let's see what you have here..."[b] With a flick of the hand, she shifts her awareness to open the threads of arcane power and uses her senses to figure out what is handed to her, while keeping an eye on Marigal, knowing full well that the girl's reactions will tell her more than her arcane skills.

The bluff is for? Are you attempting to deceive her into thinking she's going to be freed? "I can't exactly leave the room at the moment with your friends watching over me." Yes Mai you're definitely aware of everything transpiring between them.

The bluff is indeed for that. Nik'o has no real intention of letting her go once the bribe is paid. She could use the gold and the wand to help her companions and the city though.

Gregor nods approvingly, believing full well in the justice system to do what's right. "That is well and good, Ma'am. The barrister can meet with you in your cell at the Citadel. In the interim, we'll need to close down your shop until a proper investigation can be processed. Since the accusation is charlatanism, all your wares are now under suspicion and we cannot in good conscience allow you to hawk anymore of your goods, even without you present. Alright, everyone out, the shop is closing!"

He turns to his companions, "I would ask that some of our group stay to ensure no one enters until a team can arrive to examine the contents, and if all works out, Field Marshal Kroft will just send the rest of us back to investigate. We must not look until we have the proper authority to search it thoroughly for illegal activity. So who is willing to stay behind, and who will accompany me while I take her in?"

Mai You would have heard the glass breaking first.

10 gallons of water versus an alcohol based fire...those DCs are going to be HUGE.

Drakus, The heat from the alcohol in the perfume pushes you back fairly quickly, paperwork, silk table runners and additional bottles shattering will have the room engulfed in flames in less than 1 minute. (This is pretty much a cut scene encounter now...and you still have evidence...in the form of the samples.)
