Craggark takes a shallow breath, his march toward the inevitable stayed for a moment.

He grunts seeing the brutal thug chop at his fallen priest comrade.

"I shouldn't be surprised at the actions of sons of jadwiga-whores," he says with a grimace. A left hook flies at the scorched Ulfen and connects.

5 foot step to M3. Normal attack

Punch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 201d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

I'll now be down to -1 again and relying on orc ferocity to get us out of this mess.

YEAH CRAGGARK!! IS THE BOSS DOWN?!?!?

Edit: I really hope so, because I think Craggark used his orcish ferocity to stay upright before Jawhar channeled.

male Snows of Summer

A spray of blood spews out of the bosses mouth as Craggark's massive fist connects. The boss looks at Craggark's serious toothy grin and visibly gulps...He then flees for his life..Craggark look's at him run away and a second later collapses himself.
Craggark I just roll-played you standing "for effect" technically you're already down when he runs away (deals 1 point of damage after the completion of the act. :from disabled condition PRD)It's Jamir's turn.Btw the boss ran past Craggark towards p-3 off the map at full speed

Jamir points his rapier at Thug 2, and shakes his head as a warning.

He holds the smelling salts under Jawhar's nose again.

"One more time, padre, with feeling."

male Snows of Summer

Ok wow..smelling salts still work just read the entry..
Thug two barely notices his boss running..He sneers as he says, you always were a coward boss...oh well I'll just collect all the bounty! The thug spins his axe head around to the bludgeoning end and attempts to clobber Jamir as he attempts to stir Jawhar awake with the smelling salts. Thug 2's AoO: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 3 - 4 = 7dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Jamir's head ducks the clumsy blow as he cradles Jawhar's head and Jawhar starts to cough blood and stir awake.
It's Jawhar's turn he's conscious but not stable. Jawhar is staggered and must make a stabilize check before you do any action. Then you may proceed.

Jawhar's eyes pop open once more to see Jamir still trying to revive him and aid in the fight.

As Jamir ducks out of the reach of the final thug's axe, Jawhar whispers "Brothers, I will sacrifice everything for you."

Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 5 Exclude the Thug, naturally.

:) Better. I am at -2 and disabled (but conscious)

male Snows of Summer

Sarenrae's healing touch issues forth from her faithful cleric. Torvald stirs and begins to awaken, and Craggark feels some of his wounds heal, he knows he can stand and continue the fight.

Torvald will have a turn after the Thug, Torvald is at 0hp prone and un-threatened by Thug 2...so I'll assume he either stands or drinks the healing elixir that is already within his grasp. Therefore, after the Thug 2's turn Craggark can take a turn as soon as he see's the Thug's post

male Snows of Summer

The Thug(J-2) screams in frustration at Jawhar channeling and flips his axe half to the nasty side, he brings the axe down hard at Jawhar I told you to die Pathfinder scum!!! att: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Jawhar takes another wicked axe slice across the face he drops unconscious for the third time. Back already? the half-orc questions as his eyes pop back open.

His dan bong nearby, Craggark scoops it in his fist as he stands swiftly and moves to the flank of the remaining combatant.

"You picked the wrong side of a fight to be on," the frostkin flatly says. "Your so-called leader at least had enough sense to run."

The brawler positions himself with both hands up in a boxing stance, his shield out. "You will not be given that chance."

Stand and move to K2, collecting dan bong as free action together with move. Thug 2 now flanked.

Craggark watches as the doomed thug cuts twice into his halfling friend, then moves and steps on his human friend. male Snows of Summer

couple of clarifications
Thug get's one AoO a round but it resets at the beginning of his turn. ( Craggark moved to K-3, Jamir moved I-2 provoking AoO from thug(hits 7hp dmg.), Jamir tries to stab thug misses, Jawhar tries to stabalize fails,Now Thug's turn (his AoO reset) Thug swings at Jamir hits again (2hp dmg), it would now be Torvald's turn (which I'll reslove the AoO in a few minutes), Then Craggark (he missed too), Then Jamir(new round for Jamir), and finally Jawhar will stabilize before the thug gets his turn again (if he's still standing)

male Snows of Summer

The villainous and stout thug sees Torvald try to swallow some kind of concoction and takes a swing at him while he's on the ground nearly helpless: (Thugs takes his AoO)Torvald's AC while prone is 12 AoO: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18dmg: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 The thug strikes Torvald with a good crack on the head before he can down the formula ...

male Snows of Summer

it's Jamir's turn, beginning of round 12

male Snows of Summer

The thug sees Torvald get off a bomb just before collapsing, the thug tries to scamper aside from the blast radius as the bomb strikes near him ref: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15 the thug avoids most of the damage but the blast singes his beard. I'm assuming the D.C. Of the bomb is 15 or less

The Thug runs away yelling curses at the Pathfinders. He distances himself, however a miraculous shot of alchemist fire, by Craggark, arks over the building, landing square on his shoulders. The concussion and flames of the explosion immediately knock him to the ground screaming. A moment later the kicking stops. The thug lies still on the snow covered street, immolated. The flames burn for a few seconds more; fueled by the thug's clothing.

No one from the nearby houses comes out to aid the man. You notice a few shutters close and curtains drops as the flames do their ugly work.

Craggark checks to see that Jamir is tending to the dwarf. He draws his wand of healing and presents it wordlessly to the halfling. He then strides slowly to the still burning corpse of the dying thug, undoes his pants, and urinates on the steaming corpse. He openly glares at the buildings around the destroyed house in defiance as he empties his bladder.

I will have to say a confession for this at church.

After getting everyone back on their feet your party begins to search the thug's remains. There's not much left of the second thug, the third has nothing but a couple a more axes, however beneath the first Thug's body you find a belt pouch that Craggark recognizes that the boss wore in the battle. It looks as if it was torn off in the midst of the skirmish. inside there's 50gp, (I'd spend this money first if you remember how PFS works) and two folded up notes
The notes are from two different people Hjort and Runa....

Rising a little unsteadily to his feet, Torvald wrinkles his nose at the smell of burnt flesh but gives the body a nod. "Good work Craggark, I'm not about that Thug's life."

Scowling down at the mud and blood staining his tunic, the dwarf surveys the rest of the group and ventures, "I think perhaps it is best if we withdraw to the boat to recover and plan our next move. There may be another reprisal on the way once this Runa learns of her agents' failure to eliminate us."

After waking up Jawhar with the smelling salts yet again, Jamir caps the little jar of the useful substance and returns it to his pouch ("dozens of uses" as long as it is capped! Best 25gp item ever!). He leaves the cleric to heal himself and Torvald for a minute to calm the frightened donkey and search the bodies of their fallen opponents for clues as to the reasons for the unprovoked attack.

Seeing how Craggark treats the corpse of their most determined assailant, Jamir decides to let the big brawler handle searching that one.

When he finds the boss's pouch, Jamir brings it back to where Jawhar and Torvald are resting.

They are alive and awake, thank Cayden - and thank Sarenrae, too, for lending Jawhar her light. But by all the gods, they look as though they have been to Hell and back. And Jawhar looks like he might collapse again at any moment.

Jamir declines Jawhar's offer of additional healing.

"Thank you, but I am fine. A good night's sleep - or two - and I will be as fresh as a summer's day." He takes a deep breath, and grimaces. "Well, after a bath, anyway. Use your divine energy to get yourself back to full strength, my friend."

Jamir rummages through the pouch, pulls out the two notes, then tosses it - with the gold - to Torvald.

"I nominate you treasurer of our little band, Torvald! I suspect that Craggark and I should never be given charge of any more gold than we can afford to spend in a night of carousing, eh? And our priest has enough responsibility for our well-being as it is."

Jamir reads the notes aloud, his expression grim.

"So someone is truly hunting Pathfinders. Two someones, apparently. We must put an end to this, and quickly! We need rest, but I am afraid we cannot afford more than two or three days at most."

"I agree, Torvald, but I do not think it would be wise to return to The Fortune Seeker. Our enemies may already know how we arrived in Trollheim, and have men watching the ship. And I do not think we can return to the inn where we stayed last night, or the waterfront area in general - Craggark and I might possibly have been a bit too free with our tongues last night. We should get out of this immediate area, of course, but then I believe we should find an inn far from the areas where we are known. Trollheim is a big city, it should not be difficult to locate another place to rest. At least - thanks to our enemies' runaway leader - we should be able to afford someplace nice!"

Jamir picks up a piece of shattered glass - the remains of the flask of alchemist's fire he threw at the thug boss - and looks at it pensively. He tucks it into his pouch, for further consideration once they have gotten to someplace safe and warm.

By my calculations:

Party Health:
Jawhar 4/8
Torvald 10/10
Craggark 11/13
Jamir 10/12

Healing:
Lose Obscuring Mist for CLW on Jawhar CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Good enough. I assume we'll be getting a night's rest which should help out. I should be able to provide long term care tonight which would heal everyone to full overnight.

"I agree. The first order of business should be to find a safe place to lick our wounds.

Then, we will need to do some research to figure out who Hort and Runa are. Runa might be the one we should look for first as he or she at least was interested in talking to us. Runa sounds like some kind of mercenary captain and might be willing to provide some information on this Hort."

Is there a temple to Sarenrae in Trollheim? That might prove a safe place to inquire for private lodging.

Based on the wiki entry, I find a temple to Sarenrae doubtful, but Desna should have representation, and should be able to provide for travelers in need. Unfortunately, Desnan clerics rarely build temples...

Jawhar will take the lead and guide the group toward Castle Hill, anticipating that there will be a higher presence of town guards and thus safer streets.

He will hopefully find a guard to ask directions. Otherwise, he will approach a random street merchant.

"Greetings, goodman, can we bother you for a bit of assistance? We were set upon by a group of thugs in the streets of the outer district and just barely escaped with out lives.
I have done what I can to help my friends, but we are in need of some further aid. Can you direct us to a Desnan cleric in the area?"

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

We head directly to the Desnan cleric.

"Blessings of the Dawnflower to you, friend. We humbly beg your pardon, but my group was set upon by thugs in the Outer District only barely escaping with out lives.
I have done what I can to heal my friends, but based on statements made during the battle, we are worried that the thugs might have followed us from our inn and that returning to the inn might be dangerous.
We seek a place to rest and stable our donkey. Can you make a recommendation of a safe, possibly private, location that would open its doors to friends of the Queen of the North Star?"

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

This was posted while I was typing

"You may be correct. However, nothing of value is on the ship. If it comes under attack, the crew will push off into the river and escape.

They are not going to risk their lives for us, and we can always find other means to travel back to Kalsgard when we are done."
