I've had a slow few days so I'm probably going faster than normal. My usual goal is 1 post in the morning, then one in the evening.
In general, if Sarthonn is causing a slowdown for other players, feel free to use GM-ness to take actions for him.
I think a one-post-a-day goal is a fair one to aim for. Even if they aren't plot or scene-advancing posts, interacting with one another and responding to one anothers posts is what really injects vitality in pbps, in my experience at least.
Short version: one-post-a-day = good. =)
