Ok, owing to what I perceive to be massive demand, and a dearth of games that finish of this particular AP, I decided to pick this one up and run it.

After reading it (partially), I can see why GMs might run screaming from the pretentious bilge which passes for an adventure. However I have decided to push on anyway in my normal irreverent, mocking style of GMing.

So if you are hungry to save the world using the pretty much broken as hell Mythic system while playing in a game which takes role play as a chance to work on your bad puns, standup jokes, and Monty Python references, do ready yourself a character and submit away.

If you want a serious game with deep immersion, long involved backstories which come into play- seriously? Really? After the above you're still here? Go away.

I will be taking 6 people.
OK as to submissions:
20 point buy
HP is max at first, 1/2 max+1 after.
Paizo only (you can ask about other sources, and I can remember your name and not select you)
No vigilantes (still don't own the book).
Unchained summoners only
no gunslingers (bolt ace is permissible, but why?).
I'm not the biggest fan of pet classes in general, or summoning menagerie types, so keep that in mind.
Core races plus tiefling and assimar. You can ask about other races and I can tell you 'no'.
While I have the horror book, it is mostly for GMs and doesn't really fit here- again, don't ask.
2 Traits (1 campaign)
Max Starting cash
1st level
Classes which normally get 2 skill points per level, now get 4.
Background skills
No Evil (in fact, preference for good)
Shatterspell is not limited to dwarves

As for background and personality, the latter is important (more important that you have it in your head and know how you want to run them), the former, yeah, umm, a sentence? Couple words? Some pantomime? Don't care.

Spellcasters are limited to core spells (if not from core then also spells from the book in which the class appeared). If someone thinks I am nerfing mythic spellcasters too much with this, they are smoking some really good stuff. You can ask about spells as the campaign goes on, but I am a grumpy curmudgeon, so don't make plans on a build which requires broken spell Y from splatbook X to work.

And here's the kicker- I'd like to know where you are going with the build. This is a 20 level with full 10 tier mythic by the end. I'd like to see your plans for the character at 11th level with 5 mythic tiers. This doesn't have to be an outright build (though that certainly wouldn't hurt), but I'd like to know where you plan to be around then. This AP is going to take extensive modification to stay on the rails and not be a walkthrough, so I'd like to get ahead of the game. If you think this is too much work for a submission, well nobody is holding a gun to your head.

I will have a preference for people I have run for before and I know to be reliable. This will be a 1+ per day posting game. If people don't satisfy that without warning me in advance, they will earn the boot and I shall replace them.

I do use some other house rules. They will be listed explicitly on the campaign tab as I get time to put them up. They mostly favor players. Mostly.

So if all that didn't scare you away, come on in and submit, I don't bite. My dogs don't even bite.

Christmas dot

I have a few ideas that aren't a Paladin or Cleric

Dotting with interest and a thought that this would be a fun place for an over-the-top crusading knight. My only question at the moment is if we can take a drawback for an additional trait?

I have an idea for a warpriest of Ragathiel. Arsenal Chaplain and champion of the Faith

Race im thinking Human/Aasimar/Tiefling

I am so in for this. Puns, Monty Python. Mythic, will whip something up

I tell you, Buzzard, I was tempted to throw a submission named "Karhnon the Righteous Fury" and call it a day, but I am actually interested on this AP... even more if it will be laid back as Second Darkness with you driving it.

I will think about it, but you know Kronug so you can expect an at least semi-martial class which will totally abuse those tasty Mythic stuff to grant extra movement types.

Dotting! This sounds like a lot of fun, I always love when games don't take themselves super seriously. I'll brainstorm tonight while my family yells at each other about politics when we're at Christmas dinner.

I'll consider some things, but something I'd like to know; is variant multiclassing on the table? A Lore Warden or some other sort of fighter with Bard VMC sounds like it could be quite a fun mundane martial.

You left out your usual ban on prestige classes.

Thinking of some sort of Dwarven Inquisitor, not sure who I'd worship. Possibly Gorum, because who better to go against hordes of demons than the champion of the lord of war?

Silver Crusade

well i'll toss my hat in the ring here.

been trying to play this character.

need to adjust the stats but the back story is all there as well as other important info.

Grand Lodge

I have a swashbuckler that I will throw in, I can link him now

Seebast

I will have to edit him for a WoTR game and not HR

edit: I will also do a 11th level of him with 5 levels of Mythic maybe later tonight or in the next week

I will be dotting for sure perhaps a caster, or a big bad barbarian. I will be throwing a wizard taking the archmage path into the ring.

JoshB wrote:

Well I do ban them in gestalt, but I might allow one in here. That's why I have the predicted build business. If I see some funky prestige class abomination with twelve other classes, then I just ignore that person.

No.

How comedic will this be? I was thinking about the Swashbuckler and him talking out loud for all his actions.

Two questions for you: Do Fighters need to spend a feat for Combat Stamina, and one that's a little more complicated.

Are the knowledge checks from Kirin Style, Lore Warden's Know Thy Enemy ability, and the Student of War's Know Your Enemy equivalent? I'm planning on applying with a Fighter who's highest stat is Int, but the build only really works at all if the three knowledge checks are interchangeable. They also only really make sense that way - you can't make successive Knowledge checks about the same thing - but Kirin Strike does have the requirement that you use Kirin Style's knowledge check.

It's as comedic as you choose it to be on your part. Most of my comedy will be snark which mocks the AP and general gaming cliches- Oh, and the players, have to mock the players.

This is a splendid question which I translate as meaning "I have this neat way to break the system in mind, can I do it in your game?".

Though I do understand the limitations of Kirin style and how it sucks in practice.

For a PrC, i think Divine Scion =^^=

Hi and Merry Christmas!

I am officially dotting this, and will build something ranged in the next pair of days. Fighter, or Zen Archer, or whatever, I'm still not sure. Or maybe a rogue... Mmmm...

Edit: Do we start at Mythic T1?

Dot. Will submit something within 2 days.

Jereru if this is like the original Wrath of the Righteous than you do not start as mythic but gain it later.

Ah, alright. I guess I should take a look at the Player's Guide :)

If we do take Aasimar, can we take alternate abilities? Roll or pick?

Thinking a Chelish Diva or just bard named Beorn the Divine who TALKS VERY LOUDLY!

I'm going to make an oiled up wrestler monk. Based around grappling while displaying his glistening muscles.

Go for Luchador

My plan is for the militant priest. Have at thee! Etc =^^=

FMA =^^=

Nacho libre!

That, or I may make a fire Kinectisict/sorcerer named Tim. No entirely sure.

MannyGoblin wrote:

Oh Hell Yes.

Assume just vanilla assimars or tieflings.

Also, as was answered already, you do not get to be mythic for a while (the culmination of book 1 boosts you to mythic power).

Thanks GM
Built my lvl1. Will build my lvl11 in the morning and post both then =^^=

I will definitely dot this. I will have to give some to thought to what I want to play but I should have a submission ready by then end of the day.

I will probably give this a week or so. You know, that way everyone can be good and hungover when they find out if they made the cut.

Buzzard, would you be willing to work with unchained monk with archetypes? (Tetori in particular)

Sooo a Paladin of Shelyn called Lord Flashheart?

thelizardwizard wrote:

I might consider it. I'm not sure it is to your advantage(over classic monk) since Tetori already gets full BAB for grappling purposes.

It'd be more about having a better secondary plan (beat it to a pulp) if grapple wouldn't work. Along with the fancy shenanigans a tetori can do on the side. (Like, not gain grappled condition, lock down teleporting, etc)

As he wrestles he yells It is easy see. Just don't lose! BWAHAHAHA

This is Emissary's submission: Marcus McCain.

Marcus McCain is a wild card. A city guard on the loose with no regards to his own safety or property damage if he can get the job done.
A tough m+$!~*~@!@&+ who stops at nothing to protect the Law and those who abide by it.

Personality & Details:

Basically an action movie hero. Marcus is tough, rude and will sure drive crazy his boss, but he sure gets s$$$ done.
Marcus cares for good hearted people and goes out of his way to help them, but if you are an evildoer you will regret it.
Marcus believes in Grub, the deific manifestation of Justice, Badassery and Righteous Violence, but he isn't entirely sure Grub is a deity per se or an aspect of another good aligned lawful deity.
I reserve the right to use sassy one-liners. Kenabres doesn't negotiate with terrorists!

Beorn sings and shouts when normal talking would be perfectly fine. He loves a good scrap with good food and wine and company and loves his allies like brother and sisters.
Beorn will be developing along a classic Power Attack,Improved Init,Improved Crit and feats and skills that make him an excellent single-foe stabber. Magic will focus around ,Mirror Image,Heroism,Cures and buffs for jolly good times. He would loovve Blistering Incentive so he can set people's pants on fire.

Either the tetori or an oracle.

Are Mindblade Magus and Ripsaw Glaive kosher? I think I'd like to play a maniacal, bloodthirsty dude, out to "Smite" whatever he can, using his Magus spells to mostly buff instead of Nova.

Neither violates my stated parameters.

drbuzzard wrote:

Just making sure. Not everyone likes the psychic stuff, and the Ripsaw Glaive is a bit on the strange side of weaponry.

I have 2 martial characters in mind at the moment. Just got to think if there is anything else I would enjoy playing. Currently I have :

* Elven Fighter, going into either Duelist or Eldritch Knight. This is a Dex based character.
* Human Barbarian, Shoanti going along the spirit route and unarmoured. This is a Str based character.

I do not like using Mythic Spellcasters, but may be tempted with a Half-Orc sorceror of the Draconic bloodline (Dragon Disciple too) and going for a close quarters one with Arcane Armour Training.

Any idea which of these you think would work best so I can flesh it out?
