It's not that. The current scenerio is tactically challenging. No one wants to run upstairs and get slaughtered by those damn tieflings. It would be more 'heroic" if Xandarian used his merger fighting abilty to help, but knows the odds are against him. I'm just playing my character.
Speaking of the AP, I gotta say I don't like it. It's a slog. My happy-go-lucky cleric has been turned into a healbot. I'm committed to playing, but if this party desolves, I'm not gonna cry about it.


The thing is, while there's a ton of guys up here, they are individually fairly trivial. One solid hit and they drop.

There are more interesting encounters along the way, but honestly this is pretty much a fighting AP. Not a lot of intrigue when you are fighting a demonic invasion.
