"Motherf#<*er!"
The incensed cleric stabs wide with his rapier.
Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 If these dice were physical, I'd throw them across the room!!
Marcus McCain |
Just realised my s$%*ty internet undid when I moved Marcus token, he should be right next to the... Well, right of Tanrov. Can't access my laptop now so if a kind sould could please move him. Sadly that means I take the splash damage.
Reflex: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
The constable grunts as he is once again splashed with flaming fluids before trying his best to stab and punch the offender once and for all.

Oh wow!
Molitor Rask |
"Nice one Tanrov! That was almost a 'Moliation' level swing there old chap!" Molitor says as the tiefling swings his big hammer.
Molitor tips his top-hat in Tanrov's direction.
Molitor Rask |
(Is the bad guy down now?)
Xandarian Quartermain |
Xandarian kicks the remains of the tiefling alchemist in the head.
"How very stupid! All he had to do was surrender and he'd be alive! What a moron!"
Molitor Rask |
Search the bomb thrower
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Search the room
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 (+2 for traps)
Marcus McCain |
"People tend to be stupid. Specially evil people." shrugs Marcus as he proceeds to frisk the tiefling to look for... He looks for loot, plain and simple.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt |
To Molitor after he stops trying to get the goo off the spikey bits of the earthshaker
Not yet.. i'm far to inaccurate to be worthy of such accolade."
Seeing as Moliror has search the dead, he will search the room
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Xandarian Quartermain |
"What?" The paladin's request pulls Xandarian out of his funk.
"Oh. Sure."
CLW: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Molitor Rask |
"That shiny chain shirt looks like it would fit me." Molitor says.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt |
He nods at Molitors words.
"The ring of protection would enhance my survival hood or does Marcus or Kevin need it? Can anyone use a longsword? If not i'll store it.
Molitor Rask |
I think it is time for Marcus to change fighting styles to longsword...
Molitor Rask |
"I remember when you used to just smack people..."
Marcus McCain |
"Well, we haven't smacked 'people' for a long time, Mol, more like 'stabbing hellish creatures and evil-bent tieflings all day long' now. Plus swords are cool!"
Molitor Rask |
First Molitor empties a waterskin trying to wash the smushed bits off the magic chain shirt, then he shimmies into his new suit of armor.
"Kevin and Xan, you guys are the religious types. Do we need to sweep up the chapel here or are we cleared to keep up our murderous rampage?" Molitor asks the holy men.
Xandarian Quartermain |
Looking around, Xandarian answers "No. Let's clear out the rest of the building".
Molitor Rask |
"Murderous rampage it is."
Back to the blank spot at the southwest corner of the map by the front door, or up the stairs to next level?
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt |
With no response, Tanrov will put the ring of prot on after handing Marcus the longsword
"Shiny!" as he looks at the ring on his finger
Kevin Hurly |
Kevin snorts as he looks around the room. "This place should be cleaned up. I am not sure that now is the time though. We should clear out this floor and then move up and once we finish our mission then we can clean the place up and bury the dead properly. We should search these rooms thoroughly though."
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
Molitor Rask |
"I know nothing of religious matters...."
Xandarian Quartermain |
Xandarian does another quick glance around the room.
Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt |
"Excellent.. thankyou for the reminder, lets get to it.
Tanrov sets to cleaning and scrubbing the shrines to cleanness
Molitor Rask |
Examine the secret door for traps.
perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18 (+2 for traps)
Marcus McCain |
"Praise be the Lady Badbottom and her shrines!" exclaims the guardsmen "Let's go, I have a good feeling about this! Chop chop!"
drbuzzard |
Just to be quick about it:
This small chamber is free of dust. A holy symbol of Iomedae hangs unmolested on the wall above a weapon rack lled with swords, crossbows, and spears. Three wooden dummies wear pristine suits of armor. A shelf holds several leather quivers, each stamped with a golden sun. Two silver shields hang from pegs on the wall.
Treasure: This hidden armory was to be used in the event of an enemy attack that required crusaders to force entry and possibly rearm themselves. The weapon rack contains three cold iron longswords, two cold iron shortswords, two heavy crossbows, a composite longbow (+2 Str), a masterwork cold iron heavy mace, two cold iron longspears, 50 cold iron crossbow bolts, 100 cold iron arrows, a +1 longsword, 5 +1 holy arrows, and an arrow of evil outsider slaying.
The armor dummies hold two sets of masterwork chainmail and a +1 breastplate emblazoned with Iomedae’s holy symbol.
The two heavy steel shields are both marked with the holy symbol of Iomedae. One is a masterwork shield, and the other is a +1 blinding shield.
Molitor Rask |
"That's a big stack of cold iron....."
Xandarian Quartermain |
The cleric looks through the weapon cache.
Xandarian sighed, "No rapiers."
Looking at the crossbows, Xandarian chimed in, "I have no ranged weaponry. So I'll take a heavy crossbow, um, and 25 of the cold iron crossbolts, and one of the short swords..and that's it for me."
Marcus McCain |
Marcus dons the +1 breastplate, first things first.
"We should probably pick everything here later and bring it to the Camp, they will like having nice weapons to fight against the demonic invasion. But now let's check the upper floor!"
Marcus takes the time to strap Irabeth's longsword to his back. Taking into account Kevin's cold iron scimitar hanging from his belt side by side to the masterwork scimitar he starts to look like a g&&+~%n walking armory. And he loves that.
The constable walks up to the stairs but waits for the others to get closer before walking upstairs. He gets ready to draw his newfound magical longsword if he gazes the slightlest sight of a demon.
Readied action to draw the longsword if there are demons. If there are tieflings nothing happens and he'll draw during initiative
Marcus McCain |
Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Marcus quickly draws his Masterwork scimitar, shuffles his feet towards the free spot and smacks the tiefling with a face that screams 'I am number 1 of a list of idiot numbered tiefling goons'
"Hell of a welcome to the upper floor party!"
Move to draw, fice foot step and standard power attack
Power Scimitar/Two-Handed: 1d20 + 10 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 2 = 22
Damage: 1d6 + 6 + 2 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 + 2 + 6 = 15
Kevin Hurly |
Kevin carefully takes off his banded mail and replaces it with the chain mail and switches out his arrows for cold iron ones and places the heavy mace on his belt in place of the morningstar. He then follows Marcus up the stairs.
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
He passes Marcus and stands over the dead tiefling and attacks number 3.
"Surrender now and be blessed by the Dawnflower's redeeming light or die like this one!"
+1 Cold Iron Scimitar w/PA: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 7 - 2 = 18 Damage: 1d6 + 3 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 3 + 4 = 11
Xandarian Quartermain |
Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Xandarian runs up the stairs only to see the harrow deck stacked against them.
"Any area effect spells or bombs would work wonders here", communicates the cleric to the rest of his charges.
