Rukzha Kerzuk |

Turt just places himself in front of the group, ready to attack the being when it gets close.
I assume you ready an action to attack it? If so it's probably a good idea to roll already, that way we won't have to wait for that in the middle of it's turn.

Will Pratt |

reflex vs bomb: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
The huveca only takes half damage from the bomb.
Aravashnal asks what's going on on his turn in init,
Horgus readies an action to attack anyone that comes within striking distance of him, and Anevia readies her bow to attack if the huveca attacks someone not wanting to waste the small amount of arrows she has access too.
anevia's readied attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Rukzha Kerzuk |

There is no reflex save vs the bomb, only vs splash damage.
On a direct hit, an alchemist's bomb inflicts 1d6 points of fire damage + additional damage equal to the alchemist's Intelligence modifier. The damage of an alchemist's bomb increases by 1d6 points at every odd-numbered alchemist level (this bonus damage is not multiplied on a critical hit or by using feats such as Vital Strike). Splash damage from an alchemist bomb is always equal to the bomb's minimum damage (so if the bomb would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage). Those caught in the splash damage can attempt a Reflex save for half damage. The DC of this save is equal to 10 + 1/2 the alchemist's level + the alchemist's Intelligence modifier.

Selene Kelnir |

Did Selene hit?
Selene turns her body, turning the striking claws with her armor, and as soon as she is able strikes back.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Damage: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (1, 4) + 7 = 12

Athraz the Redeemed |

Athraz's claws glow with faint light, both on his hands and feet (and even his tail!) as he steps in to close the gap between himself and the undead. "Eat dragon punches, demon!"
If able, Athraz will 5 foot step to stand next to the huecuva and flurry on it. Otherwise, he'll just move in and punch it.
Flurry of Blows: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Alekto. |

Unable to get a good shot at the creature in the melee, Alekto takes her bow in her off hand and draws her sword as she moves up to stab at the thing.
longsword: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Rukzha Kerzuk |

"Gah, you're in the way of my bombs..." Rukzha mutters as she prepares another bomb, another sizzling jar flies over the head of everyone to land next to the undead creature.
DC 5 to hit a square: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
If the thing is already dead Rukzha will obviously hold her bomb. This time there is a reflex save. 7 damage if failed.

Will Pratt |

Most of your attacks are connecting however it doesn't seem as though you're doing as much damage as you thought you would.
reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
The enemy is still moving though and goes to attack Selena again hoping to redeem itself from the earlier misses
claw 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
claw 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Selene Kelnir |

Selene's eyes narrow as claws again skitter harmlessly across her armor. She lashes out with an almost contemptuous blow, sword singing through the air.
Power Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Damage: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (4, 2) + 7 = 13
EDUT: Possible critical
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
Additional Damage: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (3, 2) + 7 = 12

Athraz the Redeemed |

Athraz growls in frustration as he focuses a bit more. Come on! You're a dragon! Dragons do cool things... like beating up monsters! Be a dragon! His claws shimmer a bit more brightly as launches another barrage of blows, ending with a smack from his tail as he twists tightly to swipe at the monster's face.
Flurry 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Flurry 2: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Alekto. |

Alekto moves around, trying to get on the creature's flank, or more specifically, trying to get opposite of Selene
Acrobatics to avoid an AoO 1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Acrobatics to avoid an AoO 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Attack: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 = 11
Unfortunately, her roll to avoid leaving an opening leaves her a little disoriented and her strike glances off without so much as scratching the creature.

![]() |

Turt grins and twirls his shortsword, bringing it down just after his longsword
attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
if it hits it's a critical threat
damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (1, 5) + 10 = 16
attack 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Rukzha Kerzuk |

Fire damage is not affected by DR, just by fire resistance. I've dealt 13 dage to it so far right?
With Alekto in position it's no longer anywhere for Rukzha to throw her bombs. She begrudgingly gets out her crossbow and loads it. "I should learn more about various creatures so we don't end up not knowing what it is we are facing again..." She mutters to herself.

Will Pratt |

@Turt your attack is a hit with a possible crit
@Rukzha correct you dealt a total of 13 damage to your enemy
The creature being hit from all sides finally falls as a lump of bones and robes. The bones seem to age very quickly and turn into dust as though a magic was keeping it together somehow.
Treasure: This shrine was always humble, and little treasure can be found within save for that on the skeleton's body. A pouch on its belt contains two potions of cure light wounds, and on one withered hand it wears a knotted gold ring worth 125 gp. A masterwork warhammer lies dusty on the ground, long forgotten.

Alekto. |

Alekto looks up from the rapidly decaying corpse to the others.
"Everyone alright? No new cuts or bruises," she asks.
Once everyone's answered, she says a prayer over the remains, hoping they found peace. That done, she makes sure there aren't any other chambers before going to scout ahead again.
Perception (Hidden stuff in the temple): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Perception (Scouting): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15
Welp, I trust the GM will let me know what pops out to eat my face.

Athraz the Redeemed |

Athraz loosened up as the undead fell to the ground. "...today is going to be a collection of crises, isn't it?" Kneeling down, Athraz spied the gold ring amid the remains, quietly picking it up and pocketing it. He knew he shouldn't horde things, but... it was so shiny! "Someone else could likely make better use of these potions than myself. I can heal already."
'...yeah, I could see this being a temple to Apsu. Already kinda carved out, just need to tidy it up a bit, sweep away the undead...' The kobold pondered as he looked around the room. "This seems like a good place to rest and retreat to, if need be. Hopefully, we won't have to, but... a haven is a haven."
Looking up at the elf, he tugged his robe to get his attention. "Tall one. I'm trying to put my claw on it, but I can't recall these holy symbols. Would you happen to recognize a symbol that looks like..." Athraz described the symbol from the door in detail, hoping perhaps the elf would remember what he could not.

Rukzha Kerzuk |

"I can make similar potions myself, but I don't have any at hand. Though I do have an extract with similar effect, but sadly that is only usable by me. What was that glinting thing you picked up Athraz? I think it's only fair that we share the treasure evenly. Maybe it's magical?" Rukzha scans the room for magic, checking out both the warhammer, the ring as well as anything else in there.
At the mention of the symbol Rukzha's ears peek up, she walks over to the elf as well. After listening to him try his guess at the symbol she says. "There are a great many things I would like to know. You seem like a man of great experience and knowledge. Maybe you can tell me some things while we travel? So I'm better able to deal with the things we meet of course. No rush though, let us deal with the things here first."

Selene Kelnir |

Selene examines what is left of the corpse, a look of sad curiosity on her features.
"Well, that was certainly interesting. I wonder what led this poor creature to be entombed here?" She shrugs and moves to admire the craftsmanship of the hammer.
"A fine weapon, but one I have no use for. Might one of you find this more useful than what you currently wield?"

Will Pratt |

@Alekto Nothing jumps out at you in fact there doesn't seem to be anything else here
@Athraz with a knowledge religion check and some time (you estimate about 8 hours) you can remake this temple into that of another deity
@Rukzha nothing in the room radiates magic
Sorry for the delay everyone I've been bust at work the last couple of days prepping for thanksgiving.

Aravashnial NPC3333 |

After hearing the description of the symbol "Sorry but my training doesn't have much to do in the way of religion. My focus of study has been and always will be the planes specifically the demon scum we all hope to end. But you are correct I do know many things and I will help to identify them as often as possible"

Alekto. |

@GM Will: What about further down the passage? Alekto was also scouting ahead to make sure she knew where the dangerous spots were.

Alekto. |

Alekto returns about thirty minutes after heading out.
"It looks like the tunnel continues along for a ways. Do you guys think we should rest here or see if can continue on for a bit and perhaps find something of interest."

![]() |

"Welcome back!" Turt exclaims when he sees Alekto return. After listening to her report, he turns to the noncombatants and asks "the wounded will decide our pace I think..."

Aravashnial NPC3333 |

I am fine to continue but if the others feel as though they need to rest than we should rest we don't know what it is that we'll be running into out there and if we aren't prepared than we will never succeed.
Aravashnial continuing to try and play the leader role wants is willing to do whatever the party wants and thinks we should vote on it.

Anevia Tirabade NPC3333 |

A rest sounds nice. I need to get to the surface to find Irabeth but my leg hurts. That being said I don't want to slow us down any more than I already am so if need be I can continue
Anevia wants to rest but is also proud enough that she will push on if that's the party vote
Don't base your opinion on what you do based off the NPCs too much I went with 1 for, 1 against, and 1 neutral for a reason

Selene Kelnir |

"We could rest, but only for a short time, we don't have much in the way of supplies. I know you are in pain, Anevia, but the sooner we get back to the surface the sooner it can be sorted out."
Selene doesn't look happy about the idea of pushing the wounded, but she also appears committed to the necessity.

Alekto. |

"Perhaps one of us could carry her. I think I'm strong enough, but we'd need another scout," Alekto offers, seeing Selene's look.

Athraz the Redeemed |

"Personally, I'd like to stay and clean up the temple. Perhaps a show of faith in these dark times would draw the eyes of an able patron... but, I hate to waste such time when the surface needs us." Athraz frowns at his dilemma. Every fiber of his being was telling him to stay and be safe down here... but he knew, realistically, that it would not be safe for very long. They would come down here eventually, he was sure...
"Leave that to me." Athraz speaks up at Alekto's words. "I may not be proud of my heritage, but it does give me... advantages down here. I can stay low and quiet, and I see perfectly in the dark. Let me lead the way; if you can carry Anevia, milady, I will gladly stay ahead and keep us safe."

![]() |

"no offense lady Alekto, but you should stay as the scout. It's what your best at, I'll help lady Anevia if it comes to it." Turt speaks from his spot on the ground.

Alekto. |

"Oh," Alekto says, a twinkle in her eyes, "and how would you know what my talents are? For that matter, who ever said that I am a lady? 'Twas not I, I assure you."
Even though it's hidden by a scarf, it's hard to miss her smile. After a moment, she relents.
"I do suppose that I did say I am a scout and have been with several patrols in recent years, but I don't recall ever mentioning that I am a lady. Besides, I am not as frail as my frame would suggest. You're offer, though, is greatly appreciated, and may have to be taken up soon if we do decide to push on."

Anevia Tirabade NPC3333 |

Anevia seems to not like the idea of being carried at all
"If we are to continue than I will be able to walk on my own, were someone to carry me it would cause even more problems than what we already have"
As she says this she begins to get up albeit slightly unsteady but she seems intent on continuing on her own if that is to be the verdict.

Rukzha Kerzuk |

While Alekto is out scouting Rukzha examines the things in the temple. She pauses at the water. "I wonder about the water here. A temple suggests Holy Water, but maybe the presence of the undead turned it unholy? Or maybe it's just regular water after all. Anyone know how to check such things?" Is there a way to determine what it is? Sadly Rukzha doesn't have knowledge religion yet. Perception can be used to identify potion, dunno if the same works for holy water, I think it should. perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
"I would love to stay to learn more about this place, but my companions up top needs my aid... If I have any left... I guess I'll vote for moving on."
I guess you are waiting on the group to decide before moving on? Sorry for being so slow, but I must admit the long wait is kinda tearing at my motivation, but undoubtedly that'll return if we all return to posting once per day.

Athraz the Redeemed |

"Difficult to say without actually testing... lemme see if I can discern it..." Athraz replied, leaning close to the water and sniffing at it, staring hard.
Religion: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
"I'm with you. I think, with about... say, 8 hours of work, maybe less if I had help, I could make this a much more sanctified place. Perhaps, with some luck, it would draw Apsu's favor and give us some relief. I'd love to know a bit more... but as it stands, the majority seems interested in getting to the surface... myself included, but... this would certainly make a good place to retreat to if things got bad. Perhaps later..."

Alekto. |

"Alright then, I'll go make sure the way is clear."
Alekto disappears down the tunnels, taking up a position ahead of the party as she makes sure the way is clear.
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
As she moves, she recalls Rukzha's words and her thoughts go to her friends. The smell of baking in Alfsigr's shop, Bones' gruff manner of teaching her the skills needed to be a good scout, Ms. Malavaki's smile as she told of far off lands, and Brie's laughter as she shared a joke with Alekto all come to mind. Had any of them survived? Would she ever see them again.
The young woman continues to move silently through the dark tunnel, not even noticing the silent tears running down her cheeks and soaking the scarf covering her face.
