In your first mission as a Pathfinder agent, the head of the Grand Lodge sends you on a number of missions throughout the metropolis of Absalom, pitting you against traps, thieves, and even an unruly devil, all in the pursuit of knowledge.

"Yeah, I would think so." Tathane makes a halfhearted jump at the key. "Can anyone here fly?"
After another moment of thought, she asks, "Is anyone a particularly good shot?"
She stares at Einarr for a long while. "How tall are you, Einarr? Perhaps if someone light and nimble were to climb atop your shoulders, they could knock it down with my quarterstaff?"

Tathane's jaw drops. "Wait! Did you just pull a rabbit out of your bag?" He watches in amazement as the rabbit floats towards the ceiling. "And it floats? Wow."

The celestial hare recovers the gold key!
In summary, you have a gold key that revealed itself upon a string suspended from the ceiling after the red box was opened; a scepter with a built-in key from the same box; a bejeweled key recovered from the clear acid liquid; and broken blue stone key taken from the remains of the basket that was used to open the red box. That leaves the brown copper-bound chest and the steel cube to open. The steel cube is magically warded, and the bejeweled key has failed to open the copper-bound chest.

"Wait! The steel cube? That one has some sort of trap. Don't you think we should try to disable it first? Have we even tried all of the keys on the brown chest?"

”That gold key is obviously the most important one. Why else would it have been hidden away like that. I bet that is the key to open everything and the others are distractions,”. She waits for the trap to be dealt with before testing that theory, though.

After Einarr stops speaking there is a long awkward silence....
Having just witnessed what the party did to the wicker basket, the steel box says nothing hoping to wait the group out. It is remarkably good at this.

The ghostly wire-frame box remains as substancial as a daydream. Sticking keys into it seems about as useful as sticking the key in a fog bank.

So Doughlas has the keys, and Tathane has guidance....
We haven't tried the golden or scepter key yet. Stone key was used on red box. Brown box is an illusion. I'll try the scepter key on metal box after trap is disarmed.

"Alright, looks like we need to tackle this last one. I'll try to disarm the trap in the least dangerous way possible."

There's still the golden key and one or two locks to open.

Doughlas using the golden key and hears a satisfying click as the cube opens. Within the party finds what looks like a giant scroll case within which they find the clear-labeled architectural drawings of the Salhar burial vaults beneath Sothis, and a small varnished stick the top of which is carved in the shape of (you guessed it) a key.

”Nice! Yet another key! We have the drawings, now we need to find a way out of here.”. She turns to examine the door to see if any easy way out presents itself.

You mean like the keyhole in the door lock? ;) By the way the "stick key" looks to be mostly for show. It doesn't look like it could open anything.

I think this is the status with the keys:
- blue marble key, found in basket with snake, opens the red box
- jeweled brass key, found in jar with acid
- scepter key, found in red chest
- gold skeleton key, hanging from ceiling, opens steel box
- carved key on scrollcase, not really a key
Tathane examines the keys and the door. "Seems pretty easy again. Let's just use one of these to open the door." He is about to try all four keys, starting with the brass key, when he pauses. "Ah. Wait. This room has been somewhat devious, and it's obviously for training purposes. I wouldn't be surprised if they put a trap on this outer door." He takes a few moments to carefully examine the outer door for traps.

There is a door. It has a handle. It also has a lock.
The key on the end of the scepter opens the door. A number of servants stand just outside some with cleaning implements, and one with a nearly expired hourglass, and small bell.
As the door opens the man rings the bell. Space twists like the air above a hot cobble stone and Amenopheus explodes into existence with a small **BOOF** of displaced air.
"Well done." the little wizened man says looking the party over.

Tathane steps up with his chest out and hands on his hips. "Well? What did you expect with experts like us?" He looks at his companions with a self-satisfied look on his face. "So what's next?"
Standing straight after the jump back with the sudden appearance of the Sapphire Sage, Doughlas returns the keys to him. "Is there anything that Master Salhar would like us to relay to Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin before we head back?"
