Esper hurries to her feet and rushes to the window in question. When she notices Ramachandra she says:

Caught? That is a rather strange word to use considering I was not attempting to remain unnoticed. But if the lady is not willing to let us do our job and continue our inspections unhindered then we will have not choice to give her an unfavorable report.
Ramachandra lets Shashi out of the satchel to slowly fly around and see if there is anything alarming from a higher vantage point. Besides that, the rabbit was likely to draw more attention and that's exactly what he wanted at that moment.

"Wait. What happened? Someone saw Ramachandra outside and now they're off chasing him? That's odd." Tathane looks at his companions who now seem to have been abandoned in the sitting room. "Yeah, Perrine, let's take advantage of this opportunity." He hops off the table he was sitting on and moves towards the door. "Anyone coming with me?"
Locating Ramachandra, Doughlas says "Think the crazy nanny wants the town watch called after you." Then with a chuckle, "She also wanted me to dig you a grave you can't escape from!"
Esper promptly begins to wander around this horrid orphanage with the others, looking for children to speak with, doors to open and other things she can snoop into.
"Wowza! A real harem girl!" exclaims a thirteen-year-old at Esper's (and to a lesser extent--Perrine and Tathane's) sudden appearance. "Do you have those sort of see-through baggy pants like in all the plays?"

Tathane manages to hold back a chuckle at the boy's eagerness. "This should be interesting, Esper."
Looking around to see if any "mustached" people are staring in this direction. Esper just said mustached person, but no other identifying marks earlier.
While looking for unknown mustached people, Doughlas feels something splashing on him.

Looking around with a face of shock, "Crap, it's crap!" Doughlas stays in eye-sight of Ramachandra and heads toward the front of the building to watch for the town guard.

While Esper turns down the hall and into a closet, and Einarr looks for libations, Perrine talks to the kid with the weird pet in the in the kitchen.
"Gruel mostly. Auntie says it is healthy. Yesterday it was even warm. Sometimes though when me, and Katachu are out doing chores we'll get food from the person we're cleaning for."
