I was planning on starting a pure RP pre-story bit about a caravan on the road to Castle Everstand. You can have your characters join in as you desire, so the meetings and introductions are all organic. What say you?

DSX, if your character has been around (n)Everstand before, it is possible he has met Dondante the the half orc before. Dondante is a shepherd and so spends most his time herding his flock outside the castle walls. It is possible you've seen him at work. Perhaps his reputation amongst the predominantly (racist!) human population has gotten over to you.

That works well, in Tenbris' long life he has walked many places - however recently he has travelled to the North and been to Everstand before.
Tenbris has heard that his wife and twin daughters were ambushed by orcs, during a caravan trading trip. So he realises the rage he has against the creatures; thus his trip to Lastwall to work through these emotions. Also he had heard about an oracle in the woods capable of scrying for his lost loved ones.
Ten could easily have got a job as a guard for the caravan, just a simple job - he doesn't require much pay, but it'd allow him to do his duty and keep people safe from bandits.
I am interested, sorry been working weird schedules and stuff. I think I am going to stick with my healing stuffs I need to actually sit down, and do stat stuff :X I am setting a goal to have myself together by Sat/Sun at latest. <3
Cool, stat stuff is annoying - though at least we start as level 1!
Except for Tenbris who is now level 13 and 1/2 and has 2 mythic levels. Calculations and choices abound! Go!

Owww.... I did have to make a level 18 4th Edition PC. That was a lot of fun, but my brain exploded and I had to buy 2 extra books.
It could be even more insane in PF - especially if you were wanting to create gouda.
On a different note, I have mapped out my start of the planned adventure. Mwahahaha! I am pretty excited now that I finally figured out how I want to start. I will be throwing up the post soon.
Knowing that the most important resource in any caravan is the consumables. Tenbris has politely approached the Chef for the wagons - though most had minor facilities to cook their own meals, it was preferable to have a communal evening meal. This allows bonding, as well as making certain there's no problems with smoke, fire or luring the twilight's creatures to attack.
Thus, the learned magus approached her in the last but one departure point. He had heard good things about the wagon & wagon-master but knew that another hand would always be welcome - especially for the pittance he would be recompensed with.
I should really get my character fully fleshed out haha. As it is I'm just abilities and a backstory/personality. Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting started.
Yep, I'll be around whenever too. Heck once I even managed to push a campaign on-wards when the GM vanished for about 6 weeks, that was very tough.

Chaotic Good Outsider(Native) who was raised honoring the diety Milani. She is 30 years of age which is exceptionally young for her race. She is not tall in stature at 5'4" and her hair is the darkest ebony and her eyes are a deep shade of red. She was abandoned and left for dead as an infant but was raised by a sisterhood of Milani priestesses.

@Kanmu: Those are some, um, really impressive stats...what roll rules did you use if I may ask?
Usually everyone makes any rolls here on the forums using the forum code
That way we know no one is fudging any numbers. If everyone is willing to trust you, then I won't make you re-roll...but going forward unless I see the rolls in person, please do it here. ;)
Anyway, update: I have almost finished fleshing out the characters on my caravan, and should have a post up soon, probably tomorrow as I actually have a day off from both jobs!!
Another point of interest. I will be on a business trip to a Colorado meditation resort from 8/6-8/21...yes I know a very long time. I should have some access to internet there...as it will be very hard to do my job without it as I am responsible for recording all the meditation sessions and posting them for our paying customers who cannot attend the retreat.
I anticipate a lot of downtime while I am waiting around, and as long as the sounds don't disturb the sessions, I can probably post during those times, so do not fear! I will do my best to stay on top of it.

my apologies. I used the dice system on hero lab with my teifling class with standardized rolling system. I was at work posting so didn't have my breakdown listed just the results :( If you like I can reroll in person with you or if everyone is cool with the stats I rolled I'm cool either way.

Ten wanders around the camp ensuring that all is well, his easy smile slides back across his face and a soft tune flows from his lips. It's been a while since he had returned to the town and it should prove interesting, even for one with such little coin.
Though he's not one to hoard material possessions, he does enjoy the finer things in life upon occasion. These thoughts remind him of that night we the Kapesh dancer and the tune becomes a bit more jaunty.
Off to watch a jousting tournament tomorrow and then a friends house-warming, it should be fun :)

Unfortunately didn't manage to get across though I hope it was fun with you. We ended up with just a touch of friend drama, but a good time was had at the house warming. And the jousting was really great too, makes me glad I have a cavalier PC elsewhere.
