I'll try to post things Arryn would do the night before.
Thanks, that would keep us all going :)
Wow, Cala that map is awesome. It looks as if you had to rebuild it from scratch. As pretty as it is, that must suck. Is there a way to stick my image to the background and be done with it? this must take a lot of time, no?

I did build it from scratch, but it doesn't take as long as you might think. I build these things all the time for my table top Planescape group, so I'm pretty quick at it.
Mainly I built this map so that we could have the appropriate scale. Trying to put the low res map into a 5' looks really messy, so this was the best option.
In any event, if you can get me higher resolution maps in the future, it'll got faster, promise.

I loved your spell description Cala. I keep pushing my tabletop players to come up with this stuff but none of their best work comes near this. Keep it up :)
Aerent, how appropriate that your intimidate roll came out a 10 :) and sorry that Jack stole your kill, I promise I'll give you more victims ;)

Thanks IB; I think PbP format lends itself well to this kind of embellishment. Just writing casting Cause Fear seems so boring! Besides, I've only got a limited number of spells... got make each one count.

By the way, I won't be able to post for at least seven or eight hours, likely not until tomorrow.
If things get ugly, feel free to have Cala drop Sleep or Obscuring Mist if either will help out since both are crowd control spells. If an opportunity presents itself for Touch of Fatigue, she has that memorized as well.

Hi. ^^ Hope you don't mind an observor saying something here -- there seem to have been at least two Dan's in the prison guard. :p I supposed it's a common name on Golarion, too?

FYI, I'll be AFK next Sunday, jan 20th; I'll be running book 2 of this Adventure path on a tabletop all day long.
This is actually the first adventure I've run a second time; even though prep time is 0 once you've run a module the first time, I've never before played one that was worth doing again. until now ;)

to get everyone on the same page, including myself, I think this is what you're planning to do:
1) ambush patrol from inside tower 21
2) move over battlements to poker room
3) Arryn throws Hams 'o' Belladonna at the dogs
3) overthrow the poker game, and murderize the lot of them.
now, the question seems to be wether you'll be finished inside the tower 21 before the poker game ends at 3c...
if you're quick enough, you've disabled the last patrol and you can focus on the last bunch of guards + Blackerly.
if you're too slow, the guards will leave 3c and will have to respond to the sounds of battle. Remember that the poker-guards are likely somewhat intoxicated, and would first need to hear the battle, cross the entire courtyard at running speed (while drunk) before they can affect the battle.
I think this summarizes the situation - just comment if you think there's a better way or if I've missed anything.
To keep things moving, I propose to wait for max. 24 hours from now, until A) everyone posts their OK, or B) any major changes are made to the plan, or C) max 24 hours with no response.
Then, I'll roll for the guards and set the plan in motion.
ok?

Sounds good to me!
Oh, and for Sindran add: burn everything!
Potentially using kegs of oil as the main fuel, what he picked up from the kitchen as ignition flash fuel to set everything else off. Would be much easier if he could get Grumblejack to lug those kegs around.
increddibelly |
GrumbleJack picks up the barrel, DC10 acrobatics:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10 and your heart skips a beat as he **almost** drops it right on top of you.
ooh, brave! well, you know what they say; if you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space...!
Sindran Eithe |
Hah! Let's just hope I don't fall off. ;)
Think I should move it to the Gameplay--haha, yeah.
Is Craft (fire) an actual thing I can put ranks in? Because I would so definitely put ranks in that. Or maybe Profession (firestarter). Heh.
Sindran Eithe |
What does Sindran look like? Imagine a half-orc Keith Flint. But with more burns and scars and blackened arms. Excellent.
Oh, and Aerent, that armory is fully equipped with uniforms, isn't it? I bet there's quite the collection of Ugg boots in there....
Aerent Sephim |
I was thinking, I think we should let Jack use that big banner in the dining room as a cape. Or as toilet paper, then leave it hanging from the gatehouse. :)
@DMIB: I'm going through and creating some basic tenets for the worship of Furcas, based on the Faiths of Corruption Pathfinder book. Mainly doing it for myself as a way to further develop Aerent, but would it be something you would be interested in seeing? Not sure if it would benefit you or not, but figured I'd ask since I'm doing the work anyway.

And few more rounds of laughing? Man, I can tell he's tough. Too bad I'm too busy ROFLing or I'd take him seriously. :P
