I don't want to clutter up the recruitment thread too much but since the discussion thread isn't up... I was debating taking the arcane duelist archetype but it trades away bardic knowledge; am I correct in assuming everyone else at table one is in the 0-1 knowledges range? Based on the stats we have to work with and the class distribution it seems a fair bet I'm at or tied for highest Int at 11. I can cover knowledges though if I keep bardic lore (maybe dip lore oracle later on if we need more reliable knowledges).
So, if I'm going to keep bardic knowledge should I stick with a vanilla bard? I kind of like the arbiter archetype but it gives up versatile performance which would let me get sense motive based off my Cha (which would be nice since we're probably not going to be a very wise party either). Another option would be the flame dancer archetype- I like the flavor with Mitra and it really doesn't seem to give up anything important.

Finishing up my submission for group 2 and had an idle question: Does anybody know what the full, complete list of Close weapons is? From all the most recent books?
I'm planing to use a Cestus but if there's another solid Close weapon that would be cool. Ones that aren't on the SRD's Fighter page.
The weapon group isn't really listed in most places besides the book, and I don't have, say, Weapon Master's Handbook or Melee Tactics Toolbox, both of which add new weapons IIRC.
And there are a few available I'm not sure what group thy are. Like the Knuckle Axe, which has an AWESOME in my head, but I'm not sure what weapon group it's in.

Recruitment is briefly open again.
I'm looking for one player. Character creation remains as is in the first post, with the added requirement that one of your classes be Paladin.
The group is a full band of Knights of Alerion. Presently, the second classes of the remaining three members are Fighter, Oracle, and Bard.
No need to make a character sheet. Just let me know what class you would like to play and a brief concept. Some history with the WotW AP is preferred.

Tsk nevermind, I just remembered that Sorcerers exist.
Name: Obadiah Smith
Race: Human Male 23
Alignment: LG
Class: Paladin (Chosen One) of Damerrich/Sorcerer (Orc Bloodline)
Backstory: Scion of an aged military family, Obadiah's orcish inheritance populated his adult life with terrible rages. After the worst of them drove several friends away and demonstrated the dangerous potential of his nascent magical abilities, he found himself blessed with a companion to direct him down better paths; an angelic being in the body of a common thrush with subtle blue feathering named Parzifal. Following his new friend's earnest advice, Obadiah embraced his military heritage, as well as the harsh strictures of Damerrich, binding himself to the law in general, and the Knights of Alerion specifically. One of the youngest members of the order, it is with surprised contentment that he finds himself firmly on the path to respect from his peers and from himself.
Personality: By nurture, serious-minded, obsessive, pedantic. By nature, easily angered, emotional, selfish. Former usually wins over the latter.
I've no history with the WotW AP.

I'd like this.
Name Thalia Brightmetal
Race Female Dwarf
Class Paladin(Stonelord)|Kineticist (Geokintecist)
Background Granddaughter of the current Dwarven patriarch Thalia seeks to earn back the Dwarven freedom and their own nation under the mountain. Her grandfather plays the subservient fool to the Asmodeans in order to keep his people save which Thalia doesn't really understand. Why bow your head instead of fight? Living under tyranny is no live at all.
Personality Thalia is stubborn, proud and relentless. She has a bit of a cruel streak though she focuses that purely on her enemies. While convinced that Dwarves might possible be the best race to walk the earth she does believe in freedom for all. Kind and caring to the downtrodden, infirm and innocent but has little patience for weaklings and cowards.
I have played the first book of WotW and know the rough outline of what follows.

Ouachitonian |

I'm not terribly familiar with the AP, so forgive me if these are dumb questions, but all being Knights of Alerion is going to pretty well take care of religion right? No reason to choose any of the normal Golarion gods. Likewise, Golarion's national and ethnic backgroundc are right out, I take it. I had a crunch worked up (Paladin/Bloodrager) but I'm struggling a bit with the backstory. Reading over the WotW Player's Guide now.

Thorfinn Wyrmblod |

If this is still open, here's Ouachitonian's submission. It's modified from a previous submission elsewhere, so I left in him being Ulfen and a worshipper of Ragathiel, though I'm not sure they're really appropriate for this setting.
NameThorfinn Wyrmblod
Race Human Male
Class Paladin/Bloodrager(steelblood)
Background Born to a military family on his father's side, and a long line of dragon-blooded sorcerers on his mother's, Thorfinn knew from an early age that great things would be expected of him. He did not know he would be called by his god to the way of the Paladin, nor that his mother's line would be so beneficial to his path.
Personality Thorfinn believes himself to have been chosen as an instrument of his god's wrath in this world, and lives to destroy enemies of the faith. Outside of combat, he is a mild-mannered man, quiet (less so where matters of theology and morality are concerned; he has some very strong opinions there) and even contemplative. But always just beneath the surface is a simmering rage, ready to be unleashed against those who stand against what is right.
